Developing Your Spirit Communication Skills
Spirit communication is the process of sending and receiving information to and from the spirit realm. This process can sometimes be overwhelming for individuals. The spirit realm and nature sends us inspiration, messages, comfort and guidance. In every moment of every day we receive information. Are we deciphering that information correctly? Are we also clear in our requests to Spirit?
There are many ways spirit communicates with us. For example, a synchronistic song playing on the radio, which we associate with a loved one in Spirit; unusual behaviors, or unexpected appearances of animals, birds or insects; seeing so-called ‘angel numbers’ or synchronistic clock times like 11:11 or 12:12; Ouija board messages, as well as Tarot and oracle card signs; pendulum dowsing; and dreams.
Then there are messages relayed by intuitives, psychics and mediums during professional readings, using the clair senses, channeling, divination and mediumship. These modes of communication can be natural for some, but also a developed skill for others.
Were you a child that had imaginary friends or saw relatives who were dead? If so, then you have the innate capability pre-developed, but you may need to enhance and strengthen your communication ability. Not to become a professional psychic reader, but to be better connected in life. Strengthening comes through discipline, commitment and a passion to be of service.
Spirit Visitation In The Form Of Orbs
What are spirit orbs? Actually, we are all orbs at some point in time. When we are not inhabiting a human body or other bodies in other dimensions, we become light energy. That light looks like a small circular light that moves and darts around quickly.
Spirit orbs can suspend in mid-air. It can bounce. It can dart to the left or right. It can move slowly or quickly. It can do basically whatever it wants.
One night I saw three orbs moving in unison together. Every time I got up to leave, they darted together to the right. Every time I sat back down, they moved in unison back to where they were.
We can also project any visual image we want, instead of being viewed as an orb by human beings. I am blond with green eyes in this life. However, on the other side, I usually prefer to project myself as a dark-haired Native American woman of about 30 years of age. The life I lived as that woman, was one of my favorites.
When I was around five years old, I looked in the bathroom mirror. I remember being absolutely shocked to see a white girl with green eyes and freckles staring back at me! I thought I was Native American with tan skin, dark eyes and long black hair. I remember running to my mother, screaming and crying about that stranger in the mirror. My mother, a devout atheist and not at all versed or educated in subjects like the spirit afterlife and reincarnation, had no idea what I was talking about.
Connecting With Archangels Sandalphon And Metatron
Did you know two angels, Sandalphon and Metatron, lived as humans? Both of these fabulous workers of miracles eventually departed from Mother Earth and went to live with God in his Holy Kingdom. Apparently, Metatron left only some clothes behind, whereas Sandalphon was gathered up by a whirlwind. You can directly meet with them and tap into their amazing energies.
Archangel Sandalphon
In the angelic realm, Archangel Sandalphon is said to be the tallest angel and twin of Metatron. While on earth, Sandalphon lived as Elijah The Prophet. He was a virtuous and wondrous man who performed many miracles during his lifetime. Prophet Elijah lived in Northern Israel, during the reign of King Ahab in the 9th Century BC.
According to Kabbalah, Sandalphon’s divine presence can be found at the base of the Tree of Life. Interestingly, he is believed to appear in human form, in nature, to remind man of his planetary responsibilities. He is guardian of the material world, including the Earth and all the plants and animals that live upon it.
Another of his many roles is to convey our prayers to the Cosmos (often through song) by weaving our requests into many different colored garlands. How beautiful is that!
Spirit Visits From The Other Side
We all have the ability to ‘tune in’ to spirit messages from our loved ones on the other side, without being a psychic or medium. Often spirit tries to get in touch, but we miss the moment. Or we get scared, because we don’t understand what is happening and then tend to dismiss it. Also, after losing a loved one we can be so overwhelmed with grief, that we do not notice the signs and messages that are meant to comfort us.
There are many creative ways in which spirit reaches out to us. One of the most common are dreams. Loved ones who have passed very often choose to either talk to us, or appear in our dreams. This is the easiest way for them to get through to us, and also the least scary way for us.
In dreams your loved one may appear more dazzling than when they were alive. For example, they may look younger, healthier, refreshed. This is because the veil that existed between their human self and what they are now, no longer exists.
If you have such a visitation dream, try to write down everything you can remember as soon as you wake up. This is real communication from the other side containing valuable information, which can be very helpful in your daily life.
The Akashic Halls Of Learning
Many of us are seeking to clear out residual emotional blockages from earlier life experiences, as well as from our past lives, not to mention seeking the deeper meaning of our lives. But not many know that this process depends on the Akashic records.
I first became aware of the Akashic records in my childhood, when it came up in a conversation with my father during one of our many walks. On these walks, he’d often open up about his views on the mystical side of life. For some reason, he sensed I would be open to and unafraid of ‘other worldly’ topics of conversation. I would often journal things my dad told me soon after we arrived home. I was a very lonely kid during that particular period of my life, and I now realize that the loneliness was part of my chosen life lesson. We’d moved from the bustle of a busy town to a remote home in the countryside of the Canary Islands. I had a lot of time to myself and was often alone to journal and ponder the notes I’d made on life’s mysteries.
At that time my dad was into reading all the Lobsang Rampa books he could lay his hands on. The particular book he was reading at the time dealt with the Akashic records, or “Halls of Learning” as my dad liked to call it. My dad explained how the Akashic records contain all the knowledge of absolutely everything that has ever happened in this world. “Every world has its own Akashic records, in much the same way that countries outside of our own have their own radio programs,” I remember him saying.
Why Do Only Some Return In Spirit?
A few weeks ago, I was sitting in my usual chair, quietly reading a book, when I felt a soft pat on my hand. It did not feel in any way threatening or frightening. I could sense from the softness of the touch sensation, as well as the physical shape that was in my peripheral vision, that this certainly was a female presence. However, I could not decipher who it was at that time.
The next day, I received a message that it had been a visitation from my sister, Theresa, whom had recently passed on. I was so moved and honored that she came to me like this. How sweet and precious that moment was for me!
This experience led me to think about others that I had known in my lifetime. Some I loved deeply, while others I did not always care for as much… despite some of them being extremely prominent in my life.
My brother, Venard, who died a tragic death from drowning at the tender age of 12, had never left any of the remaining siblings for a moment… not until much, much later on in our lives. We all felt he had given us his solemn warmth and devotion, until he felt we were ready, even as middle-aged adults, to finally continue with life on our own.
Working With Elemental Spirit Guides
There are several different classifications of spirit guides and energies that we as humans can work with to help us on our journey. Most spiritual traditions teach about the elemental energy within the four classical elements. This is found in ancient Buddhist texts, Native American spirituality, shamanic traditions, within the Judeo-Christian and other monotheistic traditions.
Working with elemental spirit guides can give us insights and strategies to promote positive changes in our lives, reveal our unconscious self-destructive patterns, and transform our subconscious mind and create a harmonious and balanced internal story. Elemental guides can also assist us when we are walking through a difficulty or life challenge, as well as intensify our ability to manifest the lives we want.
It is not difficult to connect with the elemental forces. There are many strategies that can assist in bringing these elemental forces into our everyday lives.
The Spirit Of Water
The spirit of water is associated with emotions and love. It can be used to help in assisting with emotional challenges, grief, and a better understanding and greater experience of love in our lives.
In many ancient traditions there is a parallel between water and being humble. It is said to be the humblest of all the elements, always seeking the lowest point. However, in its humble position it is also one of the strongest elements. In seeking the lowest position, it can evaporate into the air, satiate the flames of fire, and carve through the mountains of the earth.
