Comfort In The Arms Of An Angel
I often use one of the rooms at the local library to meet with new clients. Recently, while I was waiting in the library’s cafeteria for a client to arrive, I noticed a radiant light coming in. It was shining on a very old lady seated just across from me. I then noticed there wasn’t a window at all near either of us!
Soon it became clear to me that this unusual light that was shining down from Heaven. Then there appeared also an angel, standing right by her side. As my sight focused I could make out more of the angel, and I also noticed that the old lady was seated in a wheelchair. she had an oxygen tank attached to the wheel chair. She was with a younger women, who looked to be her daughter.
I did not notice much else, just how amazing the light was and how beautiful her angel or guide was behind her. I sensed it was there to comfort her, as she was in a lot of pain and probably would not remain long in this world.
I then realized it was time to leave to meet my client in one of the private rooms, but as I was leaving the cafeteria I heard someone calling my name. I stopped, turned around and saw it was the old lady’s daughter calling my name as she walked towards me. She then told me we went to school together and I immediately recognized her!
The Ghost Who Warned Me
I moved into my first haunted house in 2005. I have communicated with beings from the other side since I was a child, but actually moving into a home where there was a spirit attachment, was a very different experience for me. I have also been in haunted houses before, but this time I was not able to just browse and leave – I was stuck in that house for a few months.
I was moving in with a family member, whom I knew had a lot of emotional issues, but who was also very sweet and wanting guidance and help from me. He was very attached to the house we were looking at renting. I told him right off the bat, “It’s haunted. Are you sure you want to move into a haunted house?” He asked me how I knew it was haunted, even though he knows I am psychic medium. I told him I could sense the presence. It wasn’t dark. It was male and it was associated directly with the house.
Despite all this, we moved in.
The night we moved in, I felt a presence hovering over me when I was sleeping… or should I say trying to sleep. The ghost said telepathically, “You brought darkness into my house. You need to get rid of it, or leave. I will help you get rid of it.” I was quite confused. I responded, “I am a light being. I’ve never caused harm to anyone. Why do you think I brought darkness here?” I did not get an answer.
New Year’s Blessings With Archangel Barachiel
The New Year is the perfect time to introduce the wonderful Archangel Barachiel, otherwise known as The Angel of Blessings. Also known by the name of Barakiel, he is the Archangel who is designated to spread God’s messages of blessings and abundance to the world and what better time to introduce him into your life than the New Year? When you are in the presence of Barachiel, you may become so joyful that you feel the overwhelming urge to laugh. Furthermore, it is said that humor is indeed one of God’s gifts to mankind, as it helps people to reduce stress levels and put any current challenges we may be facing into the proper perspective.
Barachiel teaches that through humor people can learn not to allow any difficult circumstances to overwhelm them, as Almighty God and his band of Angels are higher than any set of circumstances. All we need to do is put our faith in them at all times. Archangel Barachiel, assists humanity in learning to put our trust in God and by doing so be victorious over any adversity we may find ourselves in.
The Spiritual Counselor’s Vision
Many years ago, I encountered a vision of a smiling toddler. The child’s joy was overwhelming. As I hung out in a rim state of consciousness to see more, the image faded as quickly as it came. Several years following this glimpse, I found myself staring into a photograph of my best friend’s two year old daughter. I realized at that very moment that the vision I previously experienced was a foreshadowing of my closest friend’s daughter, who is now an adult.
Throughout her childhood, I continued to receive spirit messages about her well-being. As each one emerged, I shared details with her parents. One message in particular came to me during meditation. I envisioned her standing on the grounds of what appeared to be a prominent university. While I could not make out the name of the school, I could see old stone buildings that were situated atop a beautifully landscaped hill.
She was smiling in the vision, as she proudly stood with her backpack in place between her shoulders. I interpreted this vision to mean that she would someday attend a great university and that any anxiety her parents held with regard to her future would soon dissipate in the blessing of a perfect match between student and university.
When Your Inner Guidance Loses Direction
No matter where you are in life, you are never without direction. Within each of us dwells a special voice that serves as a compass. This instrument of higher direction is always poised to guide us, especially when we need it the most.
Some call this inner guidance intuition or a sixth sense. It has been written about in the sacred texts of multiple faith traditions, and is often described as a special gift that some are born with or develop through life, when one’s belief in the celestial realm is augmented by a deep faith. For some this gift is also said to be cultivated over time through diligent metaphysical practice and study.
Whatever the origin is for intuition, we can affirm that this manifestation is a gift from a realm of higher consciousness that is accessible in the here and now. We can also rejoice in knowing that each of us has a capacity to tap into this amazing ability to guide ourselves, and each other.
Tarot And The Future
The Tarot is a wonderful resource for gauging which direction we are heading in life. However, too often people seeking information will misunderstand the system. They want to know the future, but the Tarot does not create the future. The Tarot is a metaphysical tool and does not negate metaphysical laws. We can certainly see which direction we are headed in our lives, based on the insights the Tarot can provide. However, it is important to pay attention to the whole message that is coming through.
Rushing to the end of a Tarot reading is unwise, since there are often elements of change that are integral to the outcomes. I often explain it like this: the Tarot works in much the same way as a Global Positioning System (GPS). The end point will represent the coordinates that we either desire, or are currently headed toward. The other cards represent the path to get there. At times, the Tarot will provide directives that help us along the way. Just like with a GPS, we cannot expect to get to the right location if we are unwilling to follow the instructions necessary to get us to the right place.
The Little Things That Matter Most
It really is the little things in our daily lives that sometimes matter most. And we are often more likely to remember those things. One of the little things that can touch our hearts most are gestures by kind people, which I have experienced so much of these past few weeks. They can be any random act of kindness – or even an observation when we suddenly become aware of how much such little things really matter! We may pass by beautiful scenery a hundred times and never pay attention, until one day it suddenly strikes a deep cord with us.
Just yesterday, a client said something to me which moved me deeply. “I just want you to know that when you enter a room, your heart enters first,” she said. I pondered her words for quite a long time, and will now always remember how it affected me deeply. Also, I was struck by the way her words came as if from nowhere, and that during a psychic reading which should really have been all about her and her concerns. What for her might have been just a quick gesture of appreciation, mattered very much to me… and it always will be remembered.
Recently, this same lady told me about a beautiful butterfly which had appeared at her window during one of our readings. Knowing the profound transformation she had been going through, and the beautiful soul that she is, no wonder all of her helpers on the other side wanted her to be aware of their presence in her life at this challenging time.
