She Called Me Mom
It was just one little message that came through for her. It wasn’t the message she expected. “It was so much more,” she said afterwards. It defined how she felt. And, it came in the form of only four words.
It was the summer of 2017. I received a call from a lady for whom I had never read before. She was very quick to get out her question and said that she had limited time to talk. I shared with her that I felt a strong female energy around her. I saw my symbolic image for ‘mother and child,’ so I felt this was may be her mother I was connecting with.
I felt such a loving presence. In my mind’s eye I could see her mother smiling. She told me to simply give her daughter this message: “She called me Mom.” I shared this with my client, and she immediately said, repeatedly, and I will never forget it, “Thank you!” She said it over, and over, and over. Asking Your Angels For Assistance
“You have four beautiful angels with you, and you aren’t even communicating with them!” These were the words of another psychic at a psychic fayre I was working at several years ago. I had never met him prior to this particular event, and he shouted those words at me as I was walking through the entrance towards my designated work table, to get ready to set up.
And he was so right. The Ancient Art Of Possum Bone Casting
I have spent some time exploring ancient forms of divination. It made me realize one can use just about anything, from bones to rocks, or even animal intestines – anything that may be handy at the time.
A few years back a friend of mine moved from Maine to New Orleans. We are connected on Facebook, so I decided to contact her to see how she liked living in New Orleans, and what she was doing for work. Much to my surprise she said, “I’m doing bone readings in the French Quarter of the city.” Well, that certainly peaked my interest.
I have since began studying the art of bone casting. As with anything, I found lots of ideas and several different opinions on the matter. Using my own intuition, I settled on learning to read possum bones. They are said to be the real deal, but I have never seen a possum in the state of Maine (even though I’m sure possum is here.) Intuition, Psychic Ability And Mediumship
Throughout time mankind has explored the ability to communicate with the gods, with nature, or with each other on a non-verbal level. It is extremely common for us to use the term intuitive. these days. It is often the explanation given by many an entrepreneur or successful decision-maker: “I just trusted my gut,” or “What I love about Mary is she is just so intuitive and makes the right decisions.”
The term psychic on the other hand, although nowadays often well known within a household, conjures up for so many outside the metaphysical community feelings of distrust, fake, absurd, not possible. Perhaps these attributes are attached because of our personal belief system that does not value or agree with the skill set. This also can impact our personal relationships if we know it is real and others judge us since we may then hide our abilities as being psychic and connected with the unseen realm or worse shut down and not continue developing them. A Feeling Better Breakthrough
As a spiritual counselor I have found that one of the most effective ways for me to channel for my clients, as well as bring in the good in my own life, is by recognizing and trusting my feelings. The best way to explain this is when we feel good we are really ‘feeling God’ – the creative or Divine spiritual essence of our nature.
Every human being on this planet has a spirit. This is sometimes called the Higher Self or Holy Spirit. It is this spirit that is each human’s ability to create a life filled with joy and ease. If we are feeling fearful, stressed, or challenged it is often the result of being in some way disconnected to this spiritual self.
In truth, no one can ever really be separated from their spirit, but we can sometimes forget about our spiritual core. When this occurs, it means that we need a breakthrough. We need to remember our spiritual center. The best way we can do this is simply feel better. Continue reading
My Mini Miracle
Last week, a long awaited small miracle happened at my home. For some I guess this happening wouldn’t have been a big deal, but I was over the moon. I have worked non-stop on manifesting this, despite the odds and negative expectations of so called well-meaning people.
Approximately 18 months ago, a stray dog we’ve since named Brutus, began joining us on walks and came to the fence for treats. It was only because of his love for our other dogs that he finally entered onto the property at all. He was terrified of us humans. A subsequent psychic reading I had done on him, by a reputable animal communicator colleague, described how he’d been abused in a small shed as a young pup. Continue reading
Talking To The Animals
I am often contacted for psychic readings about animals: missing cats, dogs present and past, sick horses and, even that brutal question as to whether it would be kinder to end an ailing animal’s suffering. Today, just such a request came in from a long-standing client, asking me to communicate with her little doggie, Patches.
She needed to know if Patches wanted to continue, or whether he preferred to be released from his physical discomfort and allowed to cross over the Rainbow Bridge. She knew he wasn’t feeling well, and yet, the veterinarians have been unable to diagnose his problem. It’s one of the most heart-wrenching requests I have been faced with in some time.
I sat quietly and envisioned Patches in my mind’s eye. He kept showing me the number 12. Before going further, I contacted Patches’ owner, and asked her the meaning of the 12. He is twelve years old, my client responded. Although the ultimate decision will be my client’s, I felt this was a subliminal message from Patches – his planned life span was to be here for 12 years.
