Embrace Who You Are
We all came to this planet with our own unique gifts. Just like no one on the planet has the same fingerprint as you, they also do not have the same talent, voice or look. Sure, some may come close, but the entirety of a person, their personality and so on, is completely different from one to the other.
I feel saddened when I see young people copying one another. Why they do this is uncertain to me, however I’m sure they want to fit in or be accepted, and they fear being rejected by their peers. There are also adults who do this. I asked one girl who was mimicking her friend recently, why would you want to be a photo copy of someone else? You’re beautiful and you have a lovely voice, and you are a very talented artist. She looked at me and said: “Oh my goodness, you’re so right!” I told her that each person came to this planet to share their light in their own unique way, no matter what your personal qualities and talents may be. All Living Things
During times of upheaval, sadness, psychic, or sensory overload the one thing that always brings me back to compassion and empathy is the connection between all living things.
I’m one of those who weeps at an Internet picture of a cat abandoned by society, just as much as I do for human victims of unspeakable things. None of us are any different when it comes right down to the basics. It’s what drove me to go through massage therapy school over ten years ago. I’ll never forget how everyone turned when, as one of the massage students I was asked, “what do you do now and why are you here?” I said, “I’m a professional psychic and astrologer and I want to see what lays beneath the surface of the skin.” People didn’t know where to look. Living In A State Of Transcendence
Many people may claim to be enlightened and living in a very spiritually conscious state. What many believe to be reality is very much not. There is a veil that is in front of most people and most do not see through it, even though they want to. It is for most very hard to reach that state of bliss. Once there though it can be very liberating and this feeling of being truly free is difficult to describe in words.
Once soul has arrived at that ideal state of growth and evolution, you have arrived, or rather transitioned to a frequency that is higher than what most people are attuned to. Most people reside and live in the material realm, paying attention to the latest this, or the greatest that, and buying into the material things of the world. Is Honesty Always The Best Policy?
Honesty is always the best policy, but sometimes it doesn’t score you points with the family, or win you any friends.
Honest people want so desperately to speak the truth at all cost, because they know that honesty makes you feel a ‘lightness of being’. It is a liberating feeling. Not telling the truth makes you feel weighted down and guilty, and creates dis-ease in the body. Being dishonest is not good for your health.
The old saying goes, “The truth shall set you free.” This can be interpreted many ways, but I find this quote to have deeper meaning on many levels. Sometimes people get in the habit of lying, because they fear someone won’t like them, or maybe they feel they need to tell people what they want to hear for fear of rejection, or hurting someone’s feelings. Using A Wand To Enhance Good Intention
I like to envision my wand as an energy tool which harnesses and directs good intention, as a means of bringing about change in myself, another person, a pet, or a situation.
I use my wand mainly to project healing energy onto a person who happens to be in a healing session with me, or I use it remotely, using a photo or an item belonging to the recipient of the healing. With the help of my wand, I project healing to shift blocks, or to heal wounds; even to work on pulling out pain or negativity. When I do a healing session, which involves pulling out any negativity, I ensure any negative energy is transmuted by asking for help from my spirit helpers. Then I also offer a prayer for the violet flame to transmute that negative energy, and finally, on cleaning the wand itself. Continue reading
I Thank You
There are many people who touch our lives every day, often without us knowing this. Too often we forget to thank these people for the sacrifices they make on our behalf. We all serve in our own special way, but some deserve to be thanked more often than they are. They deserve our appreciation and gratitude.
There are those who serve in the military, and the parents of those sons and daughters who chose a career as protectors of the nation. They are out there to put their lives on the line to keep our country safe. And when you get a call from a mother or father who is sending their child a care package, of stuff we are so used to having here at home, it reminds you how privileged we all are.
Then there are also those ordinary people who put their lives on the line when there is a fire or when others need to be rescued. Many of my clients are volunteers who do this work without compensation. They work for free because they want to contribute to their communities. Continue reading
The Powerful Magic Of Being Authentic
If anyone were to ask me what the highlight of my life has been thus far, I would not even need a nanosecond to think about it. It is the easiest question I could ever answer. The most profound moment for me simply was the day I discovered the true power of authenticity. It was the day I discovered me.
Since that day, the quest for authenticity has completely altered my life. Like a Columbus of the heart, mind and soul I have hurled myself off the shores of my own fears and limiting beliefs, to venture far out into the uncharted territories of my inner truth in search of what it means to be genuine and at peace with who I really am. I have been abandoning the masquerade of living up to the expectations of others and have been exploring the new horizons of what it means to be truly and completely me, in all my amazing imperfection and most splendid insecurity.
