Everyday Life Happens To Psychics Too
To be in this world, but not of it… I imagine this motto might be the secret ideal of many a psychic advisor. Clients tend to view us as being calm and together at all times. However, life happens to psychics too.
For example, right now I am nursing a very sickly husband and seeing to some extra chores that he usually attends to. So, even though we prepare for the psychic readings we offer, we still have our own life’s everyday challenges and officialdom to deal with.
Unless we go and reside in a cave somewhere, I guess we will always be exposed to some form of general chaos around us! Of course, this does help us to identify with our clients when they say they are running around like “headless chickens” in their lives. Continue reading
The Self-Fulfilling Prophecy Of Fear
Recently, people have been posing their last question in a reading as: “Is there anything I need to beware, or frightened about in the coming year?”
Sometimes a psychic or spiritual advisor can bring a client additional anguish in their lives by encouraging them to focus on a fearful occurrence which could happen, rather than encouraging the person to be vigilant at particular times or steps they can take to go in a more positive direction.
I recently witnessed a typical example of additional fear being created for a customer when a lady who came to me with her daughter for a private mediumship sitting. The girl’s father committed suicide two weeks before. Although we did manage to get some closure for them from the reading, as well as actual messages from the deceased, they were both still very anxious, because of what their priest had communicated to them almost immediately after the deceased took his life. Not Everyone Chooses The Path Of Healing – Part 1
You must have heard the saying, “what they don’t know can’t hurt them?” Well, sometimes that can be very true, but sometimes what one doesn’t know can in fact hurt one.
We have all tried at one time or another to help someone close to us, because we wanted to do something nice for them. People with gifts to see, hear and feel will know what I’m speaking of here. Of course, we can’t just go up to someone randomly if we had decided to stay ‘tuned in’ when we are out and about. It is usually at these times that the urge to approach or assist may come up. I have an abundance of energy and feel it not necessary to turn off my psychic abilities, for example when I am just quickly running down to the grocery store, or stopping at the library. I’ve have been doing psychic readings for many years now, and I still feel the same joy I did when I was just a youngster drawn in by the lure of the Tarot.
Throughout the years I’ve had some wonderful clients and some incredible readings, as most professional psychic readers will tell you. But throughout the years I’ve also had some unpleasant moments. The most disagreeable experiences have been with clients that got angry with me, because of what I saw, or didn’t see. How To Create Your Sacred Space
I used to get rather uptight about whether or not I was dedicating enough preparation time prior to seeing clients, both for psychic readings and energy healing sessions. That was until I visited a well-known elderly spiritualist, who lives in the countryside outside of Johannesburg, South Africa.
His words to me were, “You work with those on the other side, just like I do, but I feel you fret and think the preparation needs to be a lengthy process”. He was right, I was anxious as to whether the prep time with my guides was ample before sessions began. “I just want you to ‘set your intention’ each morning before you begin,” he concluded. Hearing him say that felt like a load off my shoulders. For me, keeping it simple was what I learned years ago in Alcoholics Anonymous, and of course it works. The main ingredient of successful preparation is after all the ‘intention’ to help others, and to open up to spirit working through you. Continue reading
