Spiritual Cleansing
With a new year comes the opportunity again to better ourselves, but how many of us consider the spiritual along with the physical or mental? Like our homes or our cars, our spiritual selves accumulate ‘junk’ over time and need cleaning too.
The first clue that a spiritual cleansing or psychic clearing is overdue is that general feeling of heaviness, emotional clutter, or being overwhelmed. Just as we tend to get depressed when our living space is a wreck, if our spiritual essence is no longer working properly, neither will we as a whole unit.
A perfect way to get started, which is inexpensive and environmentally friendly, is to smudge your physical space with a healing herb such as sage, or something stronger like frankincense. As you burn these herbs, focus on ridding negative energies and memories and repeat a mantra such as, “I release that which I no longer need, and focus now on the present.” Continue reading
Rescue Work – Learning To Help Lost Souls
Rescue sessions intrigued me from the very start of my mediumship career. In order to facilitate a rescue, several times per year the advanced mediumship class at my spiritualist church would sit in a meditation circle. Reverend Doreen would then go through a process to invite people to come through, if they wanted or needed help. These were people who had passed into Spirit but were confused as to their current whereabouts or circumstances, and didn’t know what to do next.
About eight of us would sit quietly on our chairs until someone came through to one of us in the circle. We spoke in their ‘voices’, sometimes even using their accents. Reverend Doreen would question them as to their names, occupations, the last thing they remembered, and so on. These stories were fascinating and came from all realms of life here on the earth plane. The Unconditional Love Of Spirit
I have never promoted myself as a medium, however on occasion I do get messages from those whom have crossed over. Love Your Neighbor As Yourself
I read an article recently that brought my attention to the hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, tsunamis, and earthquakes happening on our earth, which said this was all prophecy and that it is God’s way of cleansing certain parts of our world. The article quoted scripture, from the book of Job, however it was used to the benefit of the author.
Why would one area be cleansed over another? I pondered this for quite a while, especially after seeing recent reports on extreme natural events in the Caribbean Islands, Florida, Texas, Mexico and Japan. Why just those areas? Why not the entire earth’s population? Surely, none of us are without fault? Every community has a dark side, every nation a history of wrong-doing. Continue reading
Solar Eclipse August 21, 2017 – Are You Prepared?
A rare solar eclipse is expected to occur coast to coast over the USA tomorrow. Some believe this eclipse is a negative spiritual event.
Traditionally a total eclipse was seen as a source of dark energy or a bad omen, because the Sun’s energy is blocked and the Earth goes dark for a while. However, I believe this is a misconception in regards to the actual energetic and spiritual attributes of a solar eclipse.
When a solar eclipse takes place, it heightens the energy towards the Earth and all humans, but especially towards those on a spiritual journey. This is a good time to meditate, reflect and successfully perform personal spiritual rituals or practices. And yes, because the energy pull shifts, it means that you will feel the difference if you allow yourself to.
However, there are positive and negative energetic aspects to a solar eclipse, if you are not careful. If you are in a state of peace, you will experience enhanced peace at this time. If you are in a state of unrest, you will have an enhanced state of unrest. It is imperative to be in a good space and be mindful of your thoughts, words and actions during this eclipse. Finding A Snow White Feather
Some time ago, I was sifting through my box of notes and papers collected over the years, and among all the documents and media cuttings, I found a list which describes the symbolic meaning of various colored feathers. Finding the list was a lucky coincidence. Or was it?
My husband and I live in a rural area outside a small town in South Eastern Spain. The people here are very friendly. Yet, without intending any disrespect, it is unlike many beautiful Spanish towns. I guess you could say that ours is somewhat soulless? It certainly is devoid of much in the way of any natural beauty, or cultural architecture. Another thing we don’t see much of either, is bird life.
More recently, I was thinking hard about an upsetting situation, while leaving the town hall. The outlook of the problem I was dealing with seemed bleak. But, as I left the building and turned a corner, I looked down and there was a beautiful snow white feather! A sign, or another coincidence? Continue reading
Asking Your Angels For Assistance
“You have four beautiful angels with you, and you aren’t even communicating with them!” These were the words of another psychic at a psychic fayre I was working at several years ago. I had never met him prior to this particular event, and he shouted those words at me as I was walking through the entrance towards my designated work table, to get ready to set up.
And he was so right. As much as I still vividly recalled my vision of angels when I was nine years old, and as much as I was using angel cards in my own readings, and constantly telling my client aware of the angels all around us, I hadn’t been speaking much with my own angelic team.
