Finding A Snow White Feather
Some time ago, I was sifting through my box of notes and papers collected over the years, and among all the documents and media cuttings, I found a list which describes the symbolic meaning of various colored feathers. Finding the list was a lucky coincidence. Or was it?
My husband and I live in a rural area outside a small town in South Eastern Spain. The people here are very friendly. Yet, without intending any disrespect, it is unlike many beautiful Spanish towns. I guess you could say that ours is somewhat soulless? It certainly is devoid of much in the way of any natural beauty, or cultural architecture. Another thing we don’t see much of either, is bird life.
More recently, I was thinking hard about an upsetting situation, while leaving the town hall. The outlook of the problem I was dealing with seemed bleak. But, as I left the building and turned a corner, I looked down and there was a beautiful snow white feather! A sign, or another coincidence? Continue reading
Asking Your Angels For Assistance
“You have four beautiful angels with you, and you aren’t even communicating with them!” These were the words of another psychic at a psychic fayre I was working at several years ago. I had never met him prior to this particular event, and he shouted those words at me as I was walking through the entrance towards my designated work table, to get ready to set up.
And he was so right. As much as I still vividly recalled my vision of angels when I was nine years old, and as much as I was using angel cards in my own readings, and constantly telling my client aware of the angels all around us, I hadn’t been speaking much with my own angelic team. When Angels Approach
It’s no surprise that angels are always around. After all, they are immortal, timeless, and beyond time and space as we know it. They come to guide and comfort us in the times of our greatest need, without even being asked.
But how do we know when they’re especially near? Do they appear in the ways we’re used to seeing in movies and television shows? Not quite. It’s a little more subtle than that.
Look for the signs. One object automatically associated with angels is, of course, feathers. Yes, they do have wings! If you start to find feathers, especially soft, downy white or grey ones, in places they wouldn’t ordinarily be found, that’s clue number one. The same is true for random sparks, or flames. These can be anything from a brightly colored individual flame to a glowing bubble or orb. Continue reading
Engaging The Angels In Your Forgiveness Work
Anyone can call on the angels to help them in any situation. Carl Jung called the angels, “The thoughts of God.” You do not have to belong to a specific religion or denomination to ask the angels for assistance and guidance. They are unconditional love manifested into form and can help us through all our challenges.
One thing that I have found useful on my own journey of forgiveness is to engage the angels in my own forgiveness work.
Try this brief invocation to ask the angels for guidance on your healing journey:
Holy Mother, Holy Father God, Light and Love of the Universe, I ask today for assistance with my path. I ask for the angels to surround me and fill me with the light of truth.
The Fear Of Here
A channeled message from the angels:
“One of the things that can block you dear one is the ‘fear of here’ – your inability to be in the present moment. Instead of being in the here and now, part of your consciousness runs off. This is because you have thoughts that are stuck in past events. When this occurs part of your consciousness runs off to be somewhere else. That part of your mind relives the negative experience repeatedly.
It is like a hamster on a wheel, cycling through the same details but never really going anywhere. Often these repetitions are not even the whole truth of what happened in your life. Be Very Aware… Angels Are Everywhere!
Walking into a store to do some last minute shopping, I saw an old lady walking slowly, and obviously struggling to make her way across the parking lot, with her walker. She wore a very bright pink coat and her hair was styled in a way that made me think of the 1920s.
She was definitely having a hard time getting around, slouching and not able to stand straight up, even though she was a distance behind me. I was not in a rush, and try never to be because life is much more enjoyed when we don’t feel like we have to be in a race.
Standing there for at least half a minute or more, holding the door, she stared into my face as she walked up. She seemed super happy, although it was hard for her to smile. She looked old and tired, like she may be on her final trip out on her own. Continue reading
Angels Nearby
Ever felt a reassuring hand on your shoulder, heard your name whispered, or experienced a deep sense of love and warmth, only to turn around and see no one? That’s unmistakably the sign that an angel is nearby. Our protective angels let us know they are there… if we take the time to look.
Our angelic guardians, who see all the things we do not, want us to notice the beauty around us! Take a moment away from work, put away the electronic devices, and really observe…there is so much you probably never saw before.
One of the first and most obvious places to look is the skies. Clouds, to be specific. Finding shapes like wings, hearts, or halos in the otherwise random cloud formations is a sure sign of angelic presence. Animal shapes might appear too – some angels walk on four legs! Continue reading
