Q: How does one do a house cleansing? I live alone in an apartment and for some reason I feel inundated by negative energy. Please help.
I feel that the neighbors that live above and below you, as well as to the left and right, are all part of the issue. Begin by smudging your home with sage. Start at the entrance. Close all windows except for the back bedroom window; instead open it halfway for working the negative energy out of your home.
Speak Your Piece With Archangel Gabriel
Gabriel is known as the angel of communication and God’s messenger in the Abrahamic religious traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The Bible tells us it was he who brought the message of Christ’s birth to mankind. As the great communicator Archangel Gabriel can also help us in speaking our piece in life, and empower yourself as a result.
Very often seen with his trumpet in religious art, Gabriel brings us messages from the spirit realm during our sleeping hours. His fabulous angelic presence emanates the most intense white light, which brings about purification wherever it is required.
Gabriel is associated with the element of water. So, whenever you find yourself near a river, the sea, or a lake, you should find that his messages bring particular focus and complete clarity of thought. In fact, Gabriel uses water to its best effect by purifying one’s soul, and helping us to reflect on any matters that may be on our mind.
The True Purpose Of Life
It is often said that the purpose of our existence is love. This is in part true, we are constantly evolving into a greater understanding of love. But this is really only half of the answer. The purpose of life is also the experience. The point of it all is to have interactions.
Yes, it is true that each of us has incarnated with a specific purpose for being here. Ultimately the purpose of life is to recognize our most authentic expression of what it means to be us, and then cultivate the freedom to express that authentic self. Love most certainly facilitates this process, but you could say a better explanation of the meaning of life is the experience itself.
We all incarnated on this planet from perfect love, and will return to perfect love. Within the realm of spirit we are all one. In fact, we are all one at this very moment. However, in the time-space paradigm, it is easy to lose touch with this Oneness of Spirit.
Each soul living on this planet has an innate desire to cultivate unique creative expression. Whether that creative expression is writing, musical expressions, serving others, cultivating human ties, and so on. Most of us incarnated with the specific intent to accomplish multiple ‘purposes.’ And so we go through life having a multitude of different kinds of experiences. Continue reading
