Helping To Heal The World In A Spare Moment
When we truly open our eyes to the wonderful world around us, what we see is the amount of abundance available to us. There is an endless supply of good things, too plentiful to list, and we are welcome to partake in all that is here. Many of us understand this and live in harmony with all that is provided. Some of us do not.
I am not sure where satisfaction ends and greed takes over? My guess would be that it is connected to a spiritual lack. When we feel complete in ourselves, there is no need to try and control or own everything on the outside. Why would we feel a need to possess it all, when there is so much here for all of us and joy emanates from the sharing?
Spiritual fulfillment comes from the inside only. It arrives when we have a feeling of love that radiates totally from what is within and is rarely connected to what comes from outside of us. Continue reading
Being “Spaced Out” And Omnipresent
When I am out walking with my dogs, I often feel as if the upper part of my body is being stretched and I am eight feet tall. When this happens, I get a sense of peace that everything is just as it’s meant to be, and that all will be well.
This past year or so, many customers have also shared with me how they too feel detached from their bodies as they go about their everyday lives. This does not just happen when they are having a conscious, or unconscious out-of-body experience.
Some teachings talk of how it is our very nature to constantly migrate away from our physical form, because we are actually omnipresent beings. My husband doesn’t think I am on this planet very often anyway, and perhaps he is right. But I must be omnipresent in order to get my everyday chores done! Continue reading
Three Famous Prayers Of Power
Prayer is the method we can use to petition our Source or Creator for our own highest good. It is a way for us to communicate what we truly want within our situation, and align ourselves with the highest potential in any given situation.
There are many ways to pray, and one great way to begin a practice of prayer is to use prayers that have already been written down.
The following are three “power prayers” that I use in my own life. I know that anyone who adopts these three prayers as a method for communicating their innate desires to the Divine will find what they seek. It is my prayer that each person reading this article will find the strategies that work best for his or her own journey on this planet. Continue reading
Why Is God Not Hearing Your Prayers?
Yesterday, my best friend called me. She has been my friend since second grade. Her family moved to our island from the main land during the summer before our second grade year. Like me, she was witty, funny, and full of energy, and we became really good friends. She became the sister I never had.
Unfortunately, although she had always been full of life and fun, she has also always been very stubborn when it came to certain ideas and her belief system. Her family, like mine, was very religious and I was so sure she would end up a nun some day, but she did not. Her heart found love and desires like the majority of us. She married much younger than me, in her late 20’s, and she is still with the same husband today who also is the father of her three beautiful, grown children. Continue reading
Spiritual Practices To Promote Alignment
There are many types of spiritual practices that will bring alignment to your life. Spiritual practices are the methods by which we understand the inner world, and learn just how much impact our inner world has on the outer world.
Jesus said, “With faith the size of a mustard seed you could move a mountain.” Faith is a constant, and always brings forth the manifestation of our inner beliefs. Spiritual practice allows the practitioner to gain spiritual awareness, and by doing so shifts negative or useless beliefs into useful beliefs that can have a profound impact on the journey of life. Taking Care Of Your Karmic Debt
The best possible action we can take before we leave this existence and embrace the next one, waiting for us in the afterlife, is to make sure our Karmic debt is totally repaid. This way we leave this world completely unencumbered, so we can live out our next lifetime in complete bliss.
To understand this potential debt created by Karma, it is insightful to compare it to everyday financial debt. For example, imagine a young couple starts out their new life together with good paying jobs, lots of friends, and sweetly involved in life. Everything is coming up roses for them. So, it is time to buy that beautiful, big family home they have been dreaming about. Continue reading
