Moon’s Mailbag # 2

click here for a free reading at PsychicAccess.comWelcome to my monthly blog, Moon’s Mailbag, wherein I answer a variety of questions. Each month I select a few of the questions I receive from my clients on Psychic Access and answer them here for the benefit of all. Please remember, if your question doesn’t feature this month, it could potentially be answered in a future publication.

Q: How does one do a house cleansing? I live alone in an apartment and for some reason I feel inundated by negative energy. Please help.

I feel that the neighbors that live above and below you, as well as to the left and right, are all part of the issue. Begin by smudging your home with sage. Start at the entrance. Close all windows except for the back bedroom window; instead open it halfway for working the negative energy out of your home.

Holding On To A Broken Relationship

click here for a FREE reading at PsychicAccess.comAre you waiting for him to return to you? Has your break-up stopped you from living your life? Have you decided that no matter what anyone has said to you, that you know that he is coming back to you? Holding on to a broken relationship is a common occurrence in many people’s lives. One person moves on, another does not.

When confronted with this dilemma, you may believe he will be back. I know him; he can’t function without me. He needs me. He knows we are spiritually connected. However, this is often not the truth of the situation. It is simply your ego egging you on to believe what you want to believe.

I usually ask people to go into their ‘gut’ and take the heart out of it. But still I will get, “My gut says he will be back.”  This is ego, because the response is so quick and without breathing in and allowing your guides to give you the proper answer.

Let Spirit Put Ego In Its Place

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI recently had a conversation with a lovely, learned lady who was quite beside herself, because her husband of ten years simply got up and walked out on her… with no explanation whatsoever! She was understandably beside herself with shock and grief. I asked her what kind of relationship she felt they had and she assured me it was a very loving one. I find it almost impossible to believe that a loving, caring partner would all of a sudden just turn his back with all they had shared together and walk out the door, in what appeared to be a cold and callous man.

I then asked her why she felt they had such a good situation between them and she said it was because she loved him so much. She did all she could to keep him happy and satisfied. Well, now we were obviously getting somewhere. On further probing I found this man had been emotionally detached, and certainly oblivious to her needs. How can this, by any definition, be a warm and loving relationship?

Her ego most assuredly suffered a blow, but I do wonder where spirit was in all of this. It would make no sense to me if spirit accepted such a one-sided relationship that was  completely devoid of any care or kindness.

My suspicion is that she had convinced herself that this ‘relationship’ had to maintain itself, or she would not be an ‘acceptable’ woman if she did not have a prominent male in her life, even under these trying conditions. There we go, when ego runs the show a myriad of pains can certainly appear on the horizon! Continue reading

When Your Child Is Your Spiritual Coach

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comComing from a family who never communicated their personal feelings, I learned a lot about the importance of communication between age groups in my early teens, when I was sent to live with a Dutch family with three children for several months.

I always admired their closeness, but it wasn’t until I actually moved in with them, that I realized just how far their caring and sharing went towards feeling part of such a close knit family. They prayed together too, and included me, always asking for healing for my mother who was having treatment at the time for her ‘nervous condition.’

In later years, as a recovering alcoholic in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), I would often hear the expression, “A family that prays together, stays together.” I am sure this family has stayed close all these years, even though we have lost touch. Continue reading

The Spiritual Lesson Of Depression

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comAlthough I have experienced some depression, as we all do from time to time, I have never experienced the extreme depths of darkness and despair that some people do. I sincerely hope that through my psychic work I am able to alleviate some of that dark cloud of gloom and fear for them. There is usually emphasis in these psychic readings on how, one day, when they look back, they will no longer be able to imagine how awful it felt when they used to be in that black hole of depression.

Such was the situation with one of my clients, who later became a friend. She is a psychic herself, and was being severely judged when she couldn’t keep her appointments or dates with customers and family. Naturally, there were a few understanding individuals, but I felt that most were blatantly judging her as ‘flaky’ and unreliable.

We weren’t in contact every day, but when we were, I was aware of what she was going through, and I could only encourage her with the great things I saw ahead for her in her wonderful work for spirit. The Spirit world were using me as a medium to assure her that they were going to help her heal, and will then encourage her to get back to work. Continue reading

Good Old-Fashioned Dating Before Your Commit

Click photo for a free reading at PsychicAccess.comSome of my most treasured moments have been the conversations I’ve had with folks from my grandparents’ generation. I especially like to ask elderly couples what their secret is to a long-lasting marriage, or relationship.

Their answers always put a smile on my face. Usually they would say that they slowly got to know each other, to see if they had the same values and decide if they were compatible.

Sadly, much has changed over the years. These days people no longer seem willing to put in the work and commitment it takes to build a strong foundation for a healthy, enduring relationship. Instead, we rush into romantic connections without thinking and seldom questioning the other person or their motives. Continue reading

Letting Go After Divorce

Click the photo to get a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comAccepting divorce as a reality is an important step in the healing process. One must mourn the loss of what could have been, but you don’t want to get stuck in the past, because it won’t change anything.

Acceptance is the most difficult step that one must take in releasing the past and begin a new chapter of life. Acceptance involves things like blame, resentment, and regret. We have the option to let go of negative emotions, which will give us the freedom to move forward.

So, now you are divorced, do you choose to stay bitter and hurt? No, you work through it and regain your strength, so that you can find yourself again. I know this is easier said than done, but nothing in this life is accomplished without some effort. You have one life to live, and you get to decide how you want to live it. Continue reading
