September 2 – 8
Although there are no obvious celestial events in the heavens this week, many of the planets will be interacting with each other, making it essential that we stay alert and practice a lot of patience and flexibility.
Monday’s Libra Moon will do its best to keep things in balance, even when life throws us a couple of curve balls. However, Tuesday and Wednesday we will be under the influence of a Scorpio Moon, so it will be important to look beyond the obvious and take all we hear with a grain of salt. Scorpio can evoke unwarranted fears, so if something looks scary or uncertain, your best bet is not to react, but to ride it out until the facts rise to the surface.
Things lighten up under Thursday and Friday’s Sagittarius Moon, and the answers to our questions or concerns will finally appear, assuring us that all is right in our world. Because the week is fraught with ups and downs, we’ll welcome the Capricorn Moon with open arms this weekend, where we can regroup, get grounded and actually be productive!
September 9 – 15
Let’s get ready to rumble! Things are fairly grounded under Monday’s Capricorn Moon (our most productive day of the week), but once the Moon moves into Aquarius on Tuesday, it’s anyone’s guess what will happen next.
The main event this week is the Pisces Full Moon, and we’ll need to watch for illusion and ethereal messages, as Pisces loves to blur the line between reality and the supernatural. By the way, this is a great time for ghost hunting and paranormal investigation.
The very next day, on Saturday, Mercury and Venus will hold hands as they both saunter into Libra, another aspect where our thinking can be clouded by ideals and romance. So, with all the smoke and mirrors that will come our way this week, it’s best to refrain from making any hard and fast decisions, or assuming anything until clarity returns next week. In the meantime, enjoy the show.
March 2019 Astrology Forecast
March is set to be an intense month that will challenge us to take another look at what is, and what is not working on our lives.
Mercury, the planet of communication is going retrograde today until March 28th. This transit will encourage us to do some spring cleaning and teach us to take our time making big decisions. In addition, large purchases, signing contracts and starting a relationship should be avoided until the second week of April.
Venus will be in Aquarius most of March. Expect friends and lovers to be more cool and detached than usual. Aquarius isn’t the most romantic sign, so anticipate acts of kindness instead of romance until Venus enters Pisces on March 26th.
The New Moon in Pisces on March 6th will bring forth creative energy, but beware of self-destructive people or behaviors that hurt more than they help. Your physical energy may be low this week, but should pick up shortly after when the Moon enters Aries.
Uranus goes back into Taurus on March 6th and puts a focus on what we are building and our resources. Revolutions in finance, farming and nature are to be expected out of this cycle worldwide.

Love Turns Practical With Venus In Capricorn
For the past few weeks, Venus, the Love Planet, has been in Sagittarius where the focus was on freedom versus intimacy and commitment. Due to this, many romantic relationships have been challenged, or have been coming to an end, and there has been a theme of speaking your truth.
But a shift is coming on December 25th, when Venus will enter into the sign of Capricorn until January 17, 2018. Compared to the adventurous and free-spirited risk-taking in our love lives in previous weeks, this will usher in a more practical and goal-oriented time for romance. Continue reading
Venus Retrograde 2017
Once every 19 months, Venus, the pleasure-seeking planet, goes retrograde. This year’s retrograde is currently occurring. It started on March 4th and will continue until April 15th.
Venus reflects how we give and receive love to others and ourselves. With this transit, we are being made aware of our past, including past lives, as well as breaking free from any conditioning or people who no longer serve us.
I would consider this time to be a key transitional phase for moving our lives forward and mending anything within us that still needs attention. We are clearing out the old to open up to the new opportunities on the horizon.
For those in committed relationships, flaws or communication issues may come up. It will be to your advantage to mend fences or realize that if the love is no longer there, it may be time to move on. Continue reading
Taurus – That’s No Bull!
The second sign of the zodiac, Taurus (the Bull) is a fixed Earth sign and known for its practicality, thrift, and steadiness. But there’s more to this sign than just being grounded.

The Shaman’s Schmetterling In Gottsdorf
In my previous blog I shared the story of the sign I received from the ancient oracle during my visit to the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. Well, the magical presence of the butterfly totem did not end with my visit to Greece. In all of the other countries I was to visit on this particular European tour, I would encounter butterflies at every sacred site, and during special moments I shared with significant others.
The miracle continued when I arrived at a country inn in Gottsdorf, outside Berlin, Germany. This was to be the venue for a four day meditation seminar I was attending. The event was set to take place in a cozy Yoga studio attached to the small hotel.
The moment I entered this room, I noticed a small altar the seminar organizer had set up for the time we would be working in this space. The display was charming and colorful, but that was not what drew my attention. No, what struck me instantaneously was the large, vibrant butterfly hanging on the brick wall behind the altar.
Yes, indeed. I had received yet another mystical route marker along this personal odyssey into self-realization. This time the butterfly was not black and white, like the one who came to whisper in my ear at Delphi. Instead a brightly colored paper butterfly waved hello to me from above! It was like a psychedelic kaleidoscope reminiscent of the shapes one sometimes sees in sacred geometry art… or tie-died T-shirts from the 60s. Continue reading
