The most recent Solstice took place on June 20th, marked with a rare Full Moon in Sagittarius. This signifies the perfect time for us to become ‘archers’ and use focus, courage, and persistence in manifesting our biggest dreams and visions for the second half of 2016.
Since March this year, we have all been struck with spells of confusion, exhaustion and scattered energy. You can thank the intense solar flares, two eclipses, and the ongoing retrograde activity in Mercury, Mars, and now Neptune, for some of your most frustrating moments. This planetary non-movement has been forcing us to slow down, prioritize and reassess our lives, to rid it of anything that isn’t helping us grow. Look at it as a blessing in disguise!
Once Mars goes direct today, on June 30th, it will release a fire of emotions and aggressive energy which are going to increase as we move closer to November. With two Full Moons in Sagittarius, back to back, we are being given the opportunity to change our world by removing the old, outdated ways of existing and replacing it with fresh, forward thinking. Saturn the taskmaster is now finishing its 2015 retrograde cycle. Saturn goes into a retro cycle every year for four and a half to five months. Retro means that from the perspective of Earth, Saturn appears to be going backwards through the zodiac. This period often brings past life people and karmic situations back in to be worked through. It gives more time for us to complete a difficult cycle.

This period is not good for starting new employment. It is however a good time to get resumes together and to network with the hope that, when it goes forward, a new job opportunity will present itself. Read the rest of this entry »
A number of clients have asked me how astrology can be used to determine a good time to have elective surgery. It does very much depend on the person’s natal chart, but here are some general guidelines for planning the timing of surgery and what to avoid.

1. Never when the Moon is in Virgo, Gemini, Pisces, or Sagittarius.
2. Never five days before, or after a Full Moon
3. Not when the Moon is void, of course, because it poses a high risk for complications. Read the rest of this entry »
I have noticed during some of my psychic readings, no matter what information I give, it seems not enough. I have seen this problem arise often when we are in a Mercury Retrograde. It greatly affects some of my clients.
Mercury Retrograde happens three times a year. During this three week time period, the planet Mercury turns into a retrograde. When a planet is in retrograde, it is going opposite of its normal rotation. During this time, it can make an individual feel as if they are on a stand still.
For 2012, the first retrograde occurred from March-April; the second one July-August; the third is set to occur in November. This month, the strong energy of Leo activates the winds of change and creates situations that branch out into many new directions. This last retrograde in November will be an opportune time to set goals and achieve them during this process in which Scorpio is active. Read the rest of this entry »
Saturn – a planet of structure, rules, responsibilities and change – has gone retrograde until June 2012. For people that don’t like rules and responsibility, it is not a good time. Come June, should they not have taken care of proverbial business, they will be even more unhappy. But if they take this time to do what needs to be done, to put their back into it, they can see truly amazing results.
There is also an astrological aspect known as Saturn return. It usually hits your chart anywhere from age 28 to 32 years of age. The more you fight the aspects of it, the worse it will be for you. At this stage of your life you will be called upon to decide who and what you want to be for the next 20 or so years, and you will clean house in the process. Read the rest of this entry »
