A Psychic’s Perspective On Suicide
I have had quite a wave of callers in recent months who are extremely concerned over threats their children or loved ones have been making about ending their own lives. No matter what the circumstances may be, such suicidal tendencies must always be taken very seriously and handled with kid gloves. Contacting a psychic should ideally not be the first course of action. There are specialist emergency help lines and dedicated suicide hotlines which do a wonderful job.
Psychics also receive calls sometimes from clients who feel everything in their lives has become futile, and that the world would be better off without them. These types of psychic consultations are among the most challenging that we as advisors ever have to offer. Sometimes it helps just to listen to a distraught soul, and advise them where their true life purpose might lie, but I always suggest that such callers seek the help of a professional counselor or therapist.
Can You Rely On Psychic Prediction?
Prophecy is the act of predicting the future outcome of an event. Many sacred texts have references of a prophetic nature. Historic figures like Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce are infamous for their prophecies. In ancient times leaders would consult prophets. Many times it was before an important battle, to see if the gods were on their side. Let us fast forward to the 21st century and consider prophecy in modern day readings.
Predictions for relationships, career changes and such like, as well as the timeframes for such events to happen, are common requests during psychic readings. They are all valid requests and meaningful to the client. There is usually a desire and passion for direction and knowledge within the request.
What is important with these predictions is to bear in mind that the mechanics of Natural Law prevail in the future outcome. Quantum Physics, at a simplistic overview, is about probabilities. Sort of like winning the lottery and the probability of picking all the lucky numbers. It is deterministic and every so often there is a winner. How To Get More From A Psychic Reading
There are several ways you can ensure to get the most from a spiritual reading session with a psychic or medium. Firstly, proper etiquette is important. Show respect for Spirit by being prepared for your reading. Have your questions ready. Clear your mind. Focus on what is being said and what you can learn. If you are not sure of the context, ask for clarity.
There are also things you should refrain from doing during an online or phone psychic reading. Do not pour drinks, go to the bathroom, turn on the TV, or let the dog out during your reading. You would not do those things if you were in person at the psychic’s office. Get those things out of the way before you call. Although people sometimes think they are fully engaged while doing additional tasks, they often miss the point altogether, or attach a completely different interpretation to what Spirit is saying.
Furthermore, you can get much more from a reading session by allowing time afterwards to sit for a moment, and reflect. Think of additional examples where the information and learning can be applied. If something is true for a work situation, it might also be very relevant to your personal life. Psychic reading is often assumed to be synonymous with fortune-telling, and while they may seem similar on the surface they are in fact two very different practices. Psychic reading is a spiritual practice… a sacred portal to manifesting your true destiny. Fortune-telling, on the other hand, is a fallacy and potentially dangerous and destructive.
Yes, fortune-telling is a myth. Nobody can ‘tell your fortune’ for the simple reason that you don’t actually have a ‘fortune.’ Your fortune is something you create every day through your beliefs, thoughts, choices, decisions and actions. You are a spiritual being continuously seeking physical expression in your current incarnation. And therefore you are the creator of your own reality experience, and the designer of your own destiny. Changed Life Is A Mission Accomplished
From time to time a client will ask me how I manage to stay focused when people so frequently seek the same advice over and over. “I don’t know how you put up with me,” they might say.
Well, in all honestly, I don’t feel I am ‘putting up’ with them at all. On the contrary, I feel honored that they feel safe enough to share their concerns with me. If it’s important to them… then it’s important.
What does concern me, however, is that I will be able to offer them some helpful direction and healing during a time which must feel to them like they are in a dark pit of hopelessness, or that the rug has been pulled from under them. They are often in shock over an incident, usually connected to a relationship or a career. But there always is an answer, or a solution. Continue reading
Color Reading As An Ice-Breaker
In private sittings, I always commence with a short color reading. I ask customers to select four from my collection of 13 small, colored bottles. The placement of the client’s selection in position one, two, three and four each represents a different aspect of their pathway and challenges in life.
Whether the rest of the reading involves the Tarot, throwing the bones, angel cards, or numerology, the synergistic connection with the colors, and the remainder of the reading, is always uncanny. Not to mention that it gives a very ‘colorful’ start to a reading session.
I have a regular client who is a wonderful and highly respected healer. I have always felt that she channels during her healing sessions, as many of the clients she has sent my way praise her for the words of healing and wisdom they received during sessions with her. I feel that she uses subtle ways to incorporate her psychic ability into her work, without ‘spooking’ her clients. When Tarot Cards Are ‘Wrong’
As a Tarot reader through many seasons, I have seen for myself where interpretation, listening to instinct and understanding the true meaning behind the cards makes for a better and more rounded reading. But perhaps the Tarot in and of itself will want to play tricks on you. This too I have seen many times!
People tend to misunderstand the Tarot, its meaning, and more importantly, its true purpose. It was never intended as a fortune telling tool per se. It can only be through careful study and a willingness to open one’s mind and heart, that reading the Tarot can be truly successfully mastered. Yes, even to the point of predicting time frames – something clients love, of course, but which can be very tricky to predict.
