Controlling Your Psychic Powers
When fictional characters, like Luke Skywalker in Star Wars, train to use their abilities, one of the first things their mentors, such as Yoda, tell them is that they must learn control. This is just as important to us as we use our own metaphysical abilities in the real world.
The first and foremost reason for this is that we have to use any psychic ability given to us for our own good, and that of others. If we use these abilities without mindful intent behind them, or with hostile intent, they can be very counter-productive.
So, how is control learned? An easy way to start is by ridding ourselves of negative influences and objects. As the ancient system of Feng Shui dictates, our environments reflect our internal states. Helping Each Other On Our Spiritual Journey
At some point in our lives we all cross paths with an individual who has a more profound effect on us than anybody else ever will. Sometimes these memorable encounters are due to something someone said at a critical phase in our lives, and their words then echo on in the years ahead. Or it may be a kindness someone shows us unexpectedly.
Such was the effect of a fascinating man I met more than 20 years ago. Paul is an esoteric counselor and I studied palmistry with him, as well as having past life regression under his supervision. Your Future Baby Is Right There, Next To You!
One of the connections I am able to make as a psychic, and have been able to make since I was a child, is the connection between mother and future child.
I remember, for example, seeing a three year old (I almost always see them as three years old for some reason) playing next to a sixteen year old classmate when I was still in high school. Six months later, this classmate left school, because she was pregnant. I was still confused by my psychic abilities and still doubting them at that time. I remember thinking it was just a coincidence.
I have had this happen so many times, that I no longer doubt that I am seeing the new soul connecting with and getting used to the energy of their soon to be mother. I have never seen this with fathers. I am not sure why; perhaps it is because the soul needs to connect with the mother’s body and energy, because the two will soon merge? Continue reading
Born To Be Psychic
What is it like to be born a psychic? The easy thing to say, that most will indeed say, is that it is both a gift and a curse. But that is such a broad statement. Personally, I have always loved being psychic.
I remember being three years old, when I knew that I saw and heard things which were not there. I would look at people and I would know things. I would know how they felt, in all senses of the word, and I would see colors around them, which told me how they were feeling physically.
I did not know what this was at the time. I just knew that when I saw a person with a certain color around them it meant they were feeling a certain way. I would try my best to avoid being around people that made me feel what they were feeling. But as an empath, I could not prevent these experiences. Continue reading

Mediumship is the term used for spirit communication and is distinctly related to connecting to the spiritual essence of loved ones that have passed on. Throughout history, this label has been relegated to specific individuals called mediums, and the primary source of messages come through channeling or other experiences. However, the practice of mediumship can also be an individual or private practice.
Spirit is the transcendent force that unites all things, and it is this interconnected nature that allows us to connect with God, angels, spirit guides, and even loved ones that have transitioned into the realm beyond. It is through this innate connection that authentic psychic mediums gather information and channel it for their clients. “Mindfulness” is a spiritual concept that has been thrown around a lot these days, but how many of us truly know what it really means? Let’s take a closer look.
Mindfulness basically refers to being fully aware, moment-to-moment, of our subjective conscious experience. But if we look at the components of the word itself, it might actually mean “making our mind full.” This in itself is a strange idea: because it is believed that most of us use only a portion of our mental power, how can we possibly employ it to its full potential?
To be mindful begins with becoming more aware of ourselves, our bodies, our surroundings. One of the reasons it is so difficult to grasp in our modern world is that we’re bombarded with sensory input. Think about the last time you went to the grocery store, or the mall. It’s difficult to concentrate, and that’s on top of all the incoming information on our smart phones and tablets! Continue reading
Fulfilling Your Soul’s Calling
A very close friend often said to me, “You are so lucky doing the work you love. I just do what I do as a means to an end, but I certainly don’t share the passion that you have for your work.”
Although I always knew working with spirit, in order to help people find direction, was what I desired to do on a full-time basis, I wasn’t always in a position to do so. Not to mention, to be able to do the work I love from home, surrounded by my menagerie of dogs and cats. I am so grateful to be able to now fulfill my life purpose.
It also dawned on me today that doing what I love to do has also enabled me to focus on my other passion, which is promoting and networking for animal rescue. Although, I am not yet in a place where I can physically go out and put in the physical work aiding rescue animals, I am able to spend time networking online on behalf of rescue centers internationally. I contribute by promoting these projects on social media whenever possible, and by donating to animal organizations I feel are legitimate. Continue reading
