I regularly meet with a group of wonderful women, who like me love to pray and meditate. We meet every other week, usually at the library.
We always meet in the same quiet room, which the library graciously allows us to use for our prayer and meditation meet up. We simply sit in a circle, share our prayer requests and lift up anyone we wish, even ourselves through the power of prayer.
It is a healing time, where we find ourselves sharing a snack, a joke, a healing remedy, an affirmation, or even a recipe. It is a time we all look forward to.
One day, while we were about to go our separate ways, one of the ladies approached me and asked if I could connect with a friend who passed quit unexpectedly. She was found dead in her apartment three days prior. Continue reading
The Ancient Art Of Possum Bone Casting
I have spent some time exploring ancient forms of divination. It made me realize one can use just about anything, from bones to rocks, or even animal intestines – anything that may be handy at the time.
A few years back a friend of mine moved from Maine to New Orleans. We are connected on Facebook, so I decided to contact her to see how she liked living in New Orleans, and what she was doing for work. Much to my surprise she said, “I’m doing bone readings in the French Quarter of the city.” Well, that certainly peaked my interest.
I have since began studying the art of bone casting. As with anything, I found lots of ideas and several different opinions on the matter. Using my own intuition, I settled on learning to read possum bones. They are said to be the real deal, but I have never seen a possum in the state of Maine (even though I’m sure possum is here.) Overcoming Feeling Rejected
When a customer asks for a reading about future love prospects, they will often ask how they could possibly meet this person. “How can this possibly happen”, they ask, when they really don’t go anywhere, not to mention that their internet dating attempts have been futile.
I don’t feel that there are coincidences in the way in which people meet. Our frequencies attract to us the ‘other’ who will bring us our next life lesson. At least this is my overall feeling.
This force of nature holds a magnetism unlike any other feeling, and it can throw any logical perception of another person (who is the attention of our desires) right out of the window. Releasing Your Heart From A Failed Relationship
How does one let go and move on from a painful, failed relationship? This is a regular question any psychic will receive from their clients.
It may be helpful to make a list of all of the negative attributes of the person your trying to get over, but when we look deeper, as psychic advisors, we often see a web of energy entanglement present between the caller and the person they are trying so hard to sever ties with. There is often so much more going on than simply the physical and emotional. Hence, the challenge to break free.
“I want to release him,” says the client, almost pleadingly. Sometimes the caller can feel as if they are just about getting over the subject of their affection, and then… wham! A message, a media post, or sudden surge of longing surfaces to claw them back into wanting the relationship at any cost. This often reminds me of popular oldies like Engelbert Humperdinck’s Please Release Me and Gladys Knight’s Midnight Train To Georgia (I‘d rather live in his world… than live without him in mine). Intuition, Psychic Ability And Mediumship
Throughout time mankind has explored the ability to communicate with the gods, with nature, or with each other on a non-verbal level. It is extremely common for us to use the term intuitive. these days. It is often the explanation given by many an entrepreneur or successful decision-maker: “I just trusted my gut,” or “What I love about Mary is she is just so intuitive and makes the right decisions.”
The term psychic on the other hand, although nowadays often well known within a household, conjures up for so many outside the metaphysical community feelings of distrust, fake, absurd, not possible. Perhaps these attributes are attached because of our personal belief system that does not value or agree with the skill set. This also can impact our personal relationships if we know it is real and others judge us since we may then hide our abilities as being psychic and connected with the unseen realm or worse shut down and not continue developing them. A Feeling Better Breakthrough
As a spiritual counselor I have found that one of the most effective ways for me to channel for my clients, as well as bring in the good in my own life, is by recognizing and trusting my feelings. The best way to explain this is when we feel good we are really ‘feeling God’ – the creative or Divine spiritual essence of our nature.
Every human being on this planet has a spirit. This is sometimes called the Higher Self or Holy Spirit. It is this spirit that is each human’s ability to create a life filled with joy and ease. If we are feeling fearful, stressed, or challenged it is often the result of being in some way disconnected to this spiritual self.
In truth, no one can ever really be separated from their spirit, but we can sometimes forget about our spiritual core. When this occurs, it means that we need a breakthrough. We need to remember our spiritual center. The best way we can do this is simply feel better. Continue reading
Being Spirit’s Messenger
A friend named Laura lost her husband to terminal illness just a few weeks ago. I have known this friend for over three decades, and our friendship has been one of touching base every now and again, mainly on birthdays and anniversaries. She did let me know, however when Bill had passed.
The last time I saw Bill was about 15 years ago, when he came to me for divination – throwing the bones. Our connection wasn’t such a strong one that I would expect him to be present in my dreams within just four days of his passing. But he was there, in three of my dreams, one after the other. I gave those dreams very little attention, so the memory of them was vague by the following day.
My friend Laura has always been somewhat skeptical, even afraid of ‘the other side.’ When I had the fourth dream, still, within only a few days of Bill’s passing, I noted every detail and told her what had happened, and asked how she would feel if I shared what I felt was a message for her.
