In my first blog in this series, I touched on some reasons why people cheat on their partners or spouses. But there is never an excuse for cheating. I was given permission by two of my clients to share with you their experiences with cheating. It is my hope and theirs that in sharing these stories readers in a similar situation may find some insight, answers or advice for their own circumstances. Today’s story is about Diane.
Married for 22 years to Michael, her high school sweetheart, Diane found out that Michael’s business trips had not been all about business. At one of these “conventions” he was attending, he met up with another women who he took to his hotel room. When Diane called that evening to say hello, she could tell intuitively that something wasn’t right. She even heard Emily for a brief moment in the background. Many times I will do a reading for someone who wants to know if their mate is cheating on them. Sadly, more times than not lately, I find that my clients suspicions are accurate, in some way, shape or form. But what constitutes “cheating.” There are all types of cheating and to some people one form of cheating may not be considered cheating at all.
One form of cheating is you’re dating someone and you are considered an established couple, but that person is also seeing others behind your back. Why do they cheat? Some feel it’s because they don’t really love their boyfriend or girlfriend, while some say they do it to see if the one they are with is really the one they want to be with. Many of the readings I do for clients are about relationships and this is particularly high priority for many around Valentine’s Day. In this article I would like to discuss common messages that Spirit provides about intimate relationships and love life. Some people are constantly looking for answers in others. They want so desperately to find that place where they will be forever happy, and centered, and complete. They look to others to find answers, insight and direction.
They sometimes find something that makes them feel content. But that only lasts for a moment. Then they are once again looking for something else to make them happy and feeling on the up and up. Their lives are a constant roller-coaster ride of highs and lows. Embrace Your Soul Family
We are all connected. We always meet up with people in our lives that are kindred spirits. We all know that feeling that comes over you; that familiarity that makes you stop in your tracks and think, “Wow I know that person from somewhere, but can’t place where I have met them.”
We haven’t met them in this incarnation, but in past lives.
We know these souls from our past, because they are in our cell memory. There is still unfinished business to be completed. That is why we are meeting up with similar souls that we have known in our past lives, be it here or in another world. The Sun Will Rise Again
The world seems to be fighting against us. Just as soon as we get out of the bitterest cold winter of our lives, we are hit with extreme heats, tornadoes, storms. Thor, on his winged horse, has ridden through… angry, wild, crazed, keeping all of us on our toes.
In our lives, in our relationships, we have all sorts of weather as well. These ups and downs, the setbacks, the craziness of life and love sometimes make us feel that the Sun has left us forever. It seems as if even the clouds try to cover up its warmth, heat, its nurturing, smiling face. Yet, the Sun always rises to bring light to a new day.
The bright light of the sun shows all in truth, both the harsh and good. Although we can’t see him behind the tornado, behind the storm, he is there. Behind the darkening clouds that overshadow all the light, that trouble the skies with lightening, thunder, and rain, the Sun remains like the Most High Spirit of Light. He is still there.
