Soulmate, Twin Flame or Spirit Twin?

Have you ever met someone and felt a instant, deep connection to them? Sometimes when you meet someone for the first time a  feeling of having known them before, or an inner knowing that they are a kindred spirit, comes over us. We feel this even though we have never met them before in this lifetime.

I believe we feel these connections deeply because this inner knowing is imprinted in our cell memory. When we are “tuned in” and listening, we often have these wonderful intuitive flashes.  I’m sure you have experienced these types of feelings before.

A significant number of my clients want to know if the person they are currently with, or if someone they are dating, or even a friend or relative could possibly be a Soulmate. Sometimes this is the case, and sometimes the person is their Twin Flame. Then I will usually explain the difference between a Soulmate and a Twin Flame. Yes, there is a difference.

A friend and client, for whom I have been doing readings for several years, will often times call and share with me dreams she has of her husband who passed away many years ago from cancer. He is very consistent in his visits. I have shared with her that the two of them are neither Soulmates or Twin Flames, but Spirit Twins.

To help you better understand the difference between these three types of soul connections, I will use some of my own personal relationships to explain them to you. Hopefully this will help you to decipher who is your Soulmate, Twin Flame or Spirit Twin. Also note that you can have more than one, or two of each.

Soulmate

When I was in school I pretty much hung out with the same group of kids. We were always happy, full of energy and we always had lots of fun when we spent time together. There was never any negative energy and we were always very comfortable around one another. We laughed a lot together.

To this day we still stay in touch. We sometimes talk on the phone, or see each other once or twice a year. Sometimes we may go years without making contact, but our bond remains. When we finally do see each other, we always pick up right where we left off… never skipping a beat. These people are my Soulmates.

Twin Flame

My husband and I have shared many past lives, we have a deep connection, we’re constantly teaching one another new things, constantly growing and evolving together. We complement one another.

We’re almost always in sync with each other and in a sense we complete one another. We love sharing the same space and talking together. We resonate with each other’s energy. We can even send each other “ESP email”. I can tell the moment before he comes in the door that his energy is nearby. We truly resonate with one another. My husband is my Twin Flame.

Spirit Twin

My Spirit Twin is my “other half”. He exists in the spiritual realm and I call him “my guide”.  We are the same but separate. While one half exists in the spiritual realm, the other half is here in the physical, and we often will assist one another either way.

While I am in the physical in this incarnation and during this lifetime, I may swop places and be in the spiritual in the next incarnation. Or we both can be in the physical. This happens, but it is rare. I can be masculine in one incarnation, and feminine in the next, while the other half would be the exact opposite or the same, constantly changing and shifting.

We have been together since the beginning of time. Everyone has a Spirit Twin. I constantly am connecting with mine when I sleep and leave my body to soar in the astral realm. I is always a wonderful reunion and memorable encounter.

Consider how you are connected soulfully with each person in your life. If you think carefully about it, I bet you can figure out pretty easily who is a Soulmate or a Twin Flame, and you may also be aware of your Spirit Twin. When you don’t over think things, everything just come naturally.

Enjoy learning from all of your Soulmates and enjoy teaching in turn those that come in and out of your life. It’s a wonderful dance filled with much soul growth. That’s what it’s all about.
