Protect Yourself From Toxic People
I want you to know that you’re not the only one who may have people in your life draining you, and making you feel downright guilty and sick. This is what I call toxic love. Why do we stay with these people, or why do we continue to allow these people into our space and environment?
I’m sure you know why we allow some of them…we have no choice! They are is family, sometimes our friends and distant relatives, and sadly often times our life partners and spouses. How To Become A Lightworker
The term “lightworker” has many meanings in the magical realm. It does not, as a layman might think, refer to someone “who works lightly” or even directly with light! Mudras – Part 1
In Kundalini Yoga, an ancient spiritual healing science, the fingers have deep spiritual meaning that coordinates with Astrology, emotions, body, mind and soul. We use the fingers to create mudras which trigger certain parts of the brain. Mudra is Sanskrit for “mark”, “seal”, or “gesture”. They are 10,000 year old hand gestures that help to heal and empower us.
Mudras can be found everywhere in daily life. Hand gestures are a part of every culture. Just like the spoken and written word, they can be used for positive or negative. Sign language, for example, is a form of mudras. The military uses hand gestures as a symbol of respect. Continue reading
The Fifth Chakra
The fifth chakra, or Vishuddhi is located at the neck. It is symbolized by a silver crescent within a white circle, with 16 pale blue, or turquoise petals. The animal totem of the fifth chakra is the white elephant. The musical note that resonates with this chakra is “G”. It is considered the communication chakra and its color is blue.
The fifth chakra rules the shoulders (with the fourth chakra), as well as the neck, throat, vocal chords and esophagus. The corresponding gland is the thyroid. Foods to stimulate the fifth chakra include blueberries and water. Physically, Vishuddhi governs communication, emotionally it governs independence, mentally it governs fluent thought, and spiritually it governs a sense of security. Continue reading
Successful Relationships Need Moments Of Solitude
I can’t tell you how many times I get calls from clients asking me to see why they are having communication issues with their husbands, wives, boyfriends and girlfriends. All kinds of miscommunication problems arise in love and romantic relationships, so I will go in and aim to pinpoint what it is that is causing them grief.
First, I always look to see if their other half is cheating. I also check to see if there is what I call a “love cord connection”, just to make sure there is soul growth to be had within the connection. I also see what issues they have to work on in this incarnation, because if there is a love cord connection odds are they have had many past lifetimes with the person. Continue reading
Seeing Clearly By Way Of Faith
Most of us face a roller-coaster life. We have our ups and downs, our trials and tribulations. We sometimes feel tempted to say things we shouldn’t, and we are sometimes unable to put that chocolate chip cookie down when we know we should.
We live in a world where there are temptations all around us. That little voice in our head tells us to do it, when our intuition says it would hurt us. We are sometimes left conflicted and double-minded.
But when we have faith we act and speak wisely. Faith helps us to choose the path of wisdom and it instills insight. When we choose to think negatively, and turn away from faith, that is when obstacles enter into our life. Continue reading
