The Aura – Our Coat Of Many Colors
While sorting through some papers today, I came across a Kirlian photograph of myself taken at a psychic fayre in London some twenty years ago. It highlighted the blue and green in my aura at the time.
The aura is basically a design of our soul’s spectrum, encompassing the energies of our physical, mental, and spiritual experiences. Each individual aura is very unique, just like our fingerprints. Our auras change constantly, depending on our physical, mental, emotional or spiritual state at a given time. The green and blue shades in my energy field shown on that photograph depicted the healing energy and psychic energy I was expressing at that point in time.
The intensity of the colors around individuals, as well as the colors themselves vary considerably from person to person, which is hardly surprising considering how the aura represents our essential character, as well as years of accumulated experiences on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. It can even be indicative of our potential going forward. I learned that our true spirit essence makes up our auras, and that they encompass all of our karma from previous lifetimes, as well as our goals and aspirations for this lifetime. Continue reading
Mass Death A Form Of Group Karma?
I was recently asked if there is a difference in the process of transition to the spirit world when many people die simultaneously, compared to when they transition individually? Is the death process different when there is a mass loss of life?
This question may have been prompted by the increased awareness we have these days on social media of natural disasters, as well as other large scale tragedies caused by wars, plane crashes or acts of terrorism.
Souls passing as a group is a topic I recall discussing with my classmates at the Arthur Findlay College of Psychic Research, many years ago. Jeff, one of the men in our group, was a well-known platform medium, and he had a fascination with the subject of ‘Group Karma.’ Continue reading
Using Stones To Heal – The A’s (Part 1)
Abalone
Although abalone is not a crystal, abalone shell has been used for centuries in jewelry and carvings. Abalone used as a bowl for sage and clearing can help to intensify the release of negative energy in a house or office. Abalone can calm emotions and bring a “watery” serene feeling to one’s energy or to a situation. Abalone brings the element and energy of the sea into any home it is displayed in. Water is healing, cleansing, mystical and sharpens intuition. Wearing abalone can help with developing psychic visions and intuition. Wearing abalone will also bring a sense of peace and calm to the person wearing it.

It is wonderful for entrepreneurs and people working in sales. This stone is important to have when starting a new business, job or financial venture. If you are going to ask for a raise, this stone will be great for meditation. This stone can help to release negative energy and is great for anyone in the arts as it facilitates creative expression. The True Nature Of Forgiveness
What I have received from Spirit and my mentors about the nature of forgiveness is that it is first of all not about allowing bad behavior in others to continue. This is the most important thing to remember when we are ready to venture into our inner forgiveness journey.
If someone is continually wounding us through their actions or words, it is important to understand that the most loving thing we can do for ourselves and for the other person is to let them go. This may be a scary thing for some people, but to really release our pain we must release the source of the pain. Some situations are reconcilable through an honest reflection of the situation by both parties. However if this is not working, then lovingly releasing that person from your life will not only keep you from being hurt, it will allow you to open up space for relationships that bring value to your human journey. Exploring Reincarnation And Past Lives
Anyone who has studied physics knows that energy can neither be created, nor destroyed. We, our souls, are no different. The life we are living is just one in a series of many. As the universe is infinite and exists on multiple dimensions, so do we. This is the concept of reincarnation, or literally, a soul being born into a different body.
Many of us have heard stories of people, especially young children, who recount details of past lives which seem impossible for them to have learned in the present day. This experience is universal, across cultures and ethnicity.
When we experience a strong sense of déjà vu, or having seen something before, chances are, we are remembering experiences from our past. We may also bear markings, such as scars or birthmarks, in the same positions as before. In some cases, we may even remember a language that we never learned in this life! Continue reading
Change Your Karma For A More Fulfilling Life
It is true. Karma is real. And it can change your life. Whatever you think, say, or do… it always comes back to you. When you give selflessly, it always comes back. And when you hurt someone you are truly hurting yourself.
We are all created equal, and all equally valuable, whether we are on this, or that side of the world. We matter just the same. To think of yourself as better than others is always going to come back in a negative way. Not to mention the fact that it is not very attractive! It is vitally important to live with a mindset that allows us to be mindful of how we treat each other. I know this from many years of working with people all over the world. I also know this from my personal spiritual practice. Continue reading
An Eye For An Eye Makes The Whole World Blind
I have certainly been trespassed against; maligned, misunderstood, abused and betrayed, as I suspect you may have too. Many of us have been hurt and wounded.
Some of my hurts occurred at a young and tender age, when there seemed to be no healing granted; when the best I could do then was retreat and lick my wounds alone.
Since that time so long ago, I have also seen much vindication. This ability to witness what I have called “the coming around of the going around,” hasn’t been only in seeing karmic issues resolved for little slights, but for big wounds as well. But what of forgiveness? Continue reading
