Intuition – The Unconscious Language Of The Soul
Primitive man greatly relied on his intuition, because he thought in images and symbols, and listened to his ‘inner voice’ and trusted his ‘gut’. Early man fluently spoke the language of the intuitive mind, the language of his spiritual origins.
Man is born intuitive, because man is of spiritual origin. Intuition is the earthly language of Spirit and it transcends the limitations of this time-space dimension.
Some scientists argue that intuition is merely an aspect of our normal human intelligence developed out of primitive man’s animalistic survival instincts. The concepts of “relying on your instincts” and “following your intuition” is therefore often used inter-changeably or in the same context. Déjà Vu Comes From Alternate Dimensions
Have you ever had the feeling you have been somewhere before, or done something before? We all experience déjà vu from time to time. There are various scientific and spiritual theories for this phenomenon. Personally, I believe the answer can be found in alternate realities.
It is believed by some experts that there are an infinite number of dimensions existing in the same place at the same time. It is further believed that you and I are currently in the third dimension or density. And, it is believed that those other dimensions are on alternate timelines. Some are parallel to our timeline, some are ahead of ours, and some behind us. Some people even believe that for every major decision we make an alternate dimension is created in which we choose differently.
If you are wondering how these dimensions can exist in the same place at the same time, then consider a radio. I can tune in to a 100 different stations on a single radio, by simply changing the channel or frequency. The same holds true for dimensions. They exist on different frequencies. Mediumship Is Not A Psychic Sideshow
Mediumship presented as entertainment is a double-edged sword. The media hype generated by psychic television shows, and live stage performances featuring celebrity mediums, has no doubt contributed much to an increased public awareness of mediumship. It has liberated spiritualism from the stereotype of the 19th century séance by bringing the work of the psychic medium into the public domain, and into mainstream pop culture.
But does mediumship as an entertainment genre do spiritualism and the daily work of psychics any real justice? I am certainly not a purist. Neither am I a traditionalist when it comes to spiritual matters. I tend to shy away from any form of fundamentalism or fanaticism. But having the work of talented mediums dished up as trivial amusement has certainly proven to be a mixed blessing in my own practice as psychic medium. Continue reading
More Than We Can Imagine
I often set an intention before I got to sleep of what I want to do during my astral travels. This could be to visit another universe, or a deceased loved one, or to spend time in the sanctuary that I created in my mind’s eye for me to rest and recharge. I do this just before I fall asleep and transfer to the spirit realm. I have shared in previous blogs how you can do this yourself.
I enjoy visitations with my Grandpa during these astral dreams. When I want to visit with my Grandpa, I simply imagine myself walking through a well-worn path to a mechanical lift. I step into the lift and rise with it to the top of a very tall hill. Here there is a portal that I enter that leads to my sanctuary or my “happy place.” From here I may continue the journey further, or I will remain there and enjoy astral encounters with others. Building Your Energy Channels
Our bodies contain endless potential for energy: physical, mental, electrical, psychic. Much like the sun itself, we are constantly providing energy. Yet, many of us feel drained and exhausted? If we learn to tap into our natural channels, this doesn’t have to be so.
Like the power of our brains, we may only be using a small fraction of our personal energies. The best way to get started is a program of meditation or prayer to discover where our strongest energies lie. These are to be found in our psychic centers, or chakras. As you begin your journey, you’ll notice stronger feelings in one or more of your seven spiritual centers: crown, eyes, throat, heart, chest, spleen, and root. Love And Faith Connects Us In The Afterlife
My sister-in-law passed away several years ago from cancer. I was not very close with her, but will always remember her fondly and have respect for her – who she was, and how she lived her life. I always enjoyed the time that we spent together during family events and the holidays. Recently a special dream reunited us, bringing with it meaningful spiritual insight.
I always felt there was this feeling of anxiousness, worry and tension around her. There was this feeling of her not being entirely content and happy. She did a good job hiding these negative feelings, but I could see it and feel it when I was around her.
My husband would often share with me the latest, and often times not so greatest news of what is going on with everyone after speaking with his Mother. I knew from this to pray for his sister, as she was not having the best of times with her husband. They had many arguments and disagreements. I always included her in my prayers, especially after I would see her during the holidays, and any other time. Continue reading
Exploring Reincarnation And Past Lives
Anyone who has studied physics knows that energy can neither be created, nor destroyed. We, our souls, are no different. The life we are living is just one in a series of many. As the universe is infinite and exists on multiple dimensions, so do we. This is the concept of reincarnation, or literally, a soul being born into a different body.
Many of us have heard stories of people, especially young children, who recount details of past lives which seem impossible for them to have learned in the present day. This experience is universal, across cultures and ethnicity.
When we experience a strong sense of déjà vu, or having seen something before, chances are, we are remembering experiences from our past. We may also bear markings, such as scars or birthmarks, in the same positions as before. In some cases, we may even remember a language that we never learned in this life! Continue reading
