Knowing Which Psychic Tools To Use

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI am often asked about the methods and tools I use for psychic readings. I have been studying divination, mediumship, and religion since I was a child. I have even developed new methods and tools along the way, selected from the practices which best enhanced or refined my own abilities. Thanks to that, knowing which psychic tool to use for a given situation can be tricky at times – even for me. After all, each method has its own strengths and weaknesses, rules and rituals. Plus, we all tend to favor the method that provides the greatest sense of security in its familiarity.

For me, that method has become the ubiquitous Tarot deck. I have been studying the tarot since the age of five, and it has been proven time and again to be the quickest, easiest, and most accurate oracle in my arsenal. With it, I can uncover information about all things past, present, and future. It even lets me relay messages from the other side, when needed. However, despite the Tarot’s versatility, it’s largely limited to abstract concepts and archetypes, so secondary tools may sometimes be needed for additional clarity, such as rune casting, the I Ching, and Kau Cim (Chinese Fortune Sticks).

Rune casting originated amongst the Germanic peoples of Europe, over 2,000 years ago, and involves using runes to examine the elements of cause and effect which are at play in a given situation. The runes are also very useful for yes and no style answers, due to their relative simplicity. Continue reading

Choosing Your Own Tarot Deck

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comPurchasing your own Tarot deck may seem overwhelming for the newcomer, but can actually be a very magical experience. Back in the ‘dark ages,’ when I decided to purchase my first Tarot deck, I remember getting a plethora of recommendations from others to buy certain decks. I was overloaded with opinions, none of which I listened to in the end.

I’ve always been a bit of a rebel, so I chose a deck that I felt most drawn to. I remember the day well, I visited a little metaphysical shop in Michigan and was immediately drawn to the back of the store, where there were some revolving racks with Tarot decks on display. I felt almost mesmerized by one deck.  It’s theme was angelic, and although the images, design, and roman numerals were not really suited for a beginner, it didn’t matter to me, I bought the deck anyway.

When I got it home, I took it into my herbal room, laid it out on some black silk, to anoint it with consecration oils of rosemary, basil, star anise, frankincense, myrrh, and patchouli. I held a pendulum over the cards to program it with my intentions, and to activate it.

After that, I fanned the cards out on my herbal table and slowly waved my palm over the deck, sending my energies into it to align and connect with it as my sacred tool. Lastly, I asked Spirit to oversee the deck by placing it into the right hands once they left mine. Continue reading

Empower Your Tarot Readings With The Three V’s

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comThere are many ways to bring more power to your Tarot readings, whether you are just learning to read the cards or have been utilizing them as a divination tool for years. One way is to apply the three ‘V’s’ to expand your reading skills, namely variety, validation and vision.

Variety

Seasoned and professional Tarot readers often own a number of Tarot decks, but usually gravitate towards one or two of their favorites most of the time. Employing a variety of decks will keep your readings fresh, and can also expand your predictions.

The images of the Tarot vary from deck to deck, which will offer you additional information to consider. Because you will be viewing the cards from a fresh perspective, you’ll be able to ‘see’ more. Continue reading

The Powerful Wisdom Of The Major Arcana

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comThere are 78 cards in a traditional Tarot deck. The first 22 are called the Major Arcana. The word ‘arcana’ comes from a Latin word arcanum, which means ‘ancient secrets’ or ‘mysteries.’

The 22 Major Arcana cards, starting with The Fool and leading all the way to The World, are all archetypes that represent hidden knowledge that many centuries ago were privy to those who worked closely with spirit.

When we consult a Tarot deck, the Major Arcana cards take us on a journey into another world, accessing ancient truths and divine law.  In psychic Tarot readings the Major Arcana cards can describe attributes of people and their character traits, but most often represent the spiritual lessons we go through in life. Tarot Bridges Perception And Truth

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comMysterious, symbolic and highly energetic, the Tarot is a high vibrational tool helping us discover the deeper meaning behind the events of our lives. It can offer guidance around situations in which we may feel lost or confused. And it can serve as a bridge between how we perceive the ‘normal’ reality, and how the influence of Spirit is working in our lives.

As every Tarot reader’s gifts are different, as unique as is every individual, a reader comes to develop their own style accordingly. But the Tarot itself also has its own energy – a high vibration frequency which Spirit can use to send us messages, encouragement, and guidance.

In my own Tarot readings, I find that Spirit most often seeks to illuminate areas in which changes may be needed in order to bring about the most beneficial outcome. This can be anything from the need to shift a perspective, the need to let go, or the need to accept things as they are. Continue reading

Divining Answers From The Runes

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comThe recent holiday season has been one of the busiest and coldest I’ve ever experienced. But I loved the colder weather, and it snowed here this winter, a rare occasion in my part of the country. The holidays are normally more or less quiet at my house, but this year, ever since Thanksgiving, I have found myself working extra hours and looking forward to endless rounds of cooking, cleaning, decorating, gift-exchanging, partying, and entertaining.

Family and friends were very much in my life this year, from out of town, new additions, folks whom I have not seen in a long time, all manner of extended family – all wanting to see me or at least call me this year. Blaming it on the Mercury Retrograde, but at the same time feeling happy and blessed, I threw myself into the spirit of the holiday season.

My Psychic Family

Click photo for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comAre psychic gifts passed on in certain families? In my family it would certainly appear so.

My maternal grandmother was married at the tender age of 14, had her first child at the age of 16, and just carried on from there. Her life was not a particular happy one. My grandfather worked a steady job with good pay, however he was a alcoholic, as well as a womanizer so money was not always prevalent in the home.

Although she was christened Flora Mae, she was always called ‘Mumma’ by everyone who knew her, because she was a mother figure to many beside her own family. As we grew to know and appreciate Mumma, we had a sense there was something unusual about her. Continue reading
