The Emotional Imprints Of Past Lives
I once did a psychic reading for a lady who had a real fear of the ocean. Her fear extended to being a passenger in an aircraft flying high above the ocean, to being on the beachfront trying to relax to the sound of waves crashing along the shore-line. She had booked a session with me to see if we could discover the source of her deep-seated fear of the sea.
The answer to people’s emotional blocks often comes to me through imagery and sounds, which I receive in my mind’s eye.
In this client’s case, the answer came ‘crystal clear.’ I saw a vision of a sailing ship from the 1800s being thrown around in a terrible storm, and I knew right away, that it was a past incarnation from whence her fear of water stemmed.
She had, in fact been a sailor on that ship, which sank. She died at sea after being swept overboard during tumultuous weather conditions.
The actual cause of many relationship challenges or emotional problems can lie in trauma which went unresolved in a previous life.
Emotional wounds leave emotional imprints, which filter into our current emotional condition. Locating the root problem from past lifetimes can go far in freeing us to move forward, free from those shackles that keep us stuck.
Have you ever felt uneasy when meeting someone new, without even knowing anything about them? It’s my belief that one can be holding a memory of a shared past life, in which the soul essence of the person, with whom we are ill at ease, was someone who harmed us in some way in another lifetime.
The Magic Of Crystals And Gemstones
Many of my clients light up when you mention the magic of crystals and gemstones, and they usually have a story to tell about a particular stone they own or carry with them for specific intentions, healing, added strength, protection, and so on.
How do crystals and gems work for you? Well, in many magical ways. When you are attracted to a particular stone, whether it’s color, texture, shape, or other qualities, the attraction you feel to it is the first step in the magical process. This attraction is actually the stone’s way of calling you to it, to make contact.
Sometimes a stone may be given to you by someone, or it may just find its way into your hands in one way or another. The circumstances under which you found it, or perhaps how it found you, is just the beginning of a new and magical relationship.
There are many metaphysicians who believe that crystals and gemstones are our ancestors or ancient beings or life force crystallized from history. Some people believe that certain stones you come in contact with are stones you had in a past life.
They could be pieces of land or rock that surrounded you in past lives here on Earth and are showing up in your life today as a friend or ally. This is pretty cool to think about! Imagine a stone that you have now that you also carried with you before, from another time. Would you still see that stone the same way when you looked at it?
Researchers and historians have hypothesized about pre-Christian cultures and civilizations that considered the standing stones to be the ancient sages or ancient gods. There are unusual theories about sites like Stonehenge and how these large stones got there, as there is still no logical explanation. Some say that Merlin the Magician brought them to Wiltshire, England from a town in Wales called Maenclochog.
How To Do A Tea-Leaf Reading
When I do a teacup reading, I let my mind to run free as I interpret the symbols in the tea leaves for the client. There are standard traditional guidelines as to what different shapes may symbolize, but I prefer to let my intuition do the talking.
Interpretation of the tea leaves is subjective, and there is no one right way to do it. Different readers will interpret the same patterns differently.
However, there are some common symbols one will often find in the bottom of the cup include animals, human faces, and all kinds of everyday objects. Symbols grouped together can create a theme, and sometimes the tea leaves spell out letters of the alphabet or numbers.
Tea-leaf reading is also known as tasseography, tasseomancy or tassology. Tasseography is also done by reading wine sediments and coffee grounds. This divination practice possibly originated in China, where tea was first cultivated, and may have evolved from the Chinese traditions of divining the patterns left by the dregs of wine in a cup, as well as the patterns created by the smoke from incense sticks.
Tea itself was first introduced to Europe in the 17th century and thus tea-leaf reading spread to other parts of the world. Among the first Europeans to embrace the practice were the traveling Romani people, who sometimes offered is as a door-to-door service. Tea-leaf reading also became popular in Victorian times as a parlor game.
Like Tarot reading or scrying a crystal ball, tea-leaf reading is a divination method for accessing the universal consciousness via the subconscious mind. Slowing down the rational, analytical mind allows us to focus on our intuition to receive divine guidance.
The Psychic Power Of Crystals
I’ve been surrounded by crystals, both in my personal healing and psychic work, since I can remember. I wouldn’t call myself an expert on the subject, but I do know that these beautiful stones are aesthetically pleasing, and powerful to have around.
Many crystals have been given to me as gifts, and it’s as if the giver always knows exactly what I need in terms of what the gemstones or crystals can help me with.
When choosing crystals and stones for psychic work or energy healing, I simply allow them to ‘speak’ to me. The vibration of the ideal ones for every purpose always resonates with me. I simply allow them to ‘speak’ to me, trusting that their vibrations will call me. The actual color of the crystal or stone can have quite a profound effect on the mind. For example, medical patients are known to respond to the color blue, when it is used decoratively in a recuperative environment, and criminals are known to be calmer in a cell painted in very pale pink.
I also own a small collection of crystal balls, and it’s as if an image materializes in my mind when gazing into my crystal ball, as opposed to what I see in the actual crystal itself. You might say it is a third eye opener!
I surround myself with amethyst for the calm it brings, rose quartz to bring in loving energy, pyrite for psychic protection and various quartz crystals to assist me energetically, and just because I find them beautiful to behold.
My bone-throwing divination kit consists of a large collection of stones, each representing a token or a symbol. Each stone has its own story and can represent a significant meaning, person, animal or place to me.
