In The Powerful Presence Of The Maiden Goddess
Many centuries have come and gone since the Athenians ascended the Acropolis to seek the guidance and protection of Athena, the maiden goddess of wisdom, war and divine intelligence. Her status as the favorite daughter of Zeus, and powerful patron deity of the city of Athens, remains evident to this day.
Expecting to be mostly drawn to the Theatre of Dionysus Eleuthereus, when I visited the Acropolis of Athens in Greece*, I was instead keenly aware of the omnipresence of Athena’s legacy. My undergraduate education in literature and drama afforded me a reasonably good understanding of the role of the god Dionysus in ancient Greek culture. Can Best Friends Fall In Love?
Is it possible for two people, who have been best friends for years, to fall in love? Can there be such a special bond or psychic connection between acquaintances? And after all the years of being best friends, do they have what it takes to ultimately experience the magic of love?
If a pair of friends have been sharing intimate thoughts and mutual hopes and desires, the chemistry is often there to begin with. There are usually also a good reason why these best friends never started to date. The main reason is typically due to timing or location, or they could be involved with someone else. During times of upheaval, sadness, psychic, or sensory overload the one thing that always brings me back to compassion and empathy is the connection between all living things.
I’m one of those who weeps at an Internet picture of a cat abandoned by society, just as much as I do for human victims of unspeakable things. None of us are any different when it comes right down to the basics. It’s what drove me to go through massage therapy school over ten years ago. I’ll never forget how everyone turned when, as one of the massage students I was asked, “what do you do now and why are you here?” I said, “I’m a professional psychic and astrologer and I want to see what lays beneath the surface of the skin.” People didn’t know where to look. Connect With The Light
Why are so many people feeling depressed these days? One of the main reasons are the slower economy, and not enough time to do the things they want to do.
Many of us do not have enough time with family. Time is flying by too quickly and it’s easy to not be grounded and connected to the Light. Therefore, smiles too often turn to upside down happy faces!
When this happens it is important to get that time alone with yourself first, before you reach out to others. Take the time to get in alignment with who you are, and hear that quiet voice telling you what you really should be doing. With some solitude and contemplation we can make some course corrections in our lives and get the Light back in our lives. Continue reading
Love Cord Connections Last An Eternity
When we truly love someone, we are eternally connected to that person – throughout all of our lifetimes. That love cord is never severed. No one, or nothing, not even the Archangel Michael can sever this cord with his sword.
It is true that love is the most powerful force and it is my belief that God is love. We get to bask in this blissful feeling in its entirety, which is much too much for our earthly minds to even comprehend. I do know that we get to taste a bit of it through the feelings we experience when we deeply love another person. It is our ‘taste of heaven’ here on earth and we can enhance the feeling through gratitude for that person that is in our lives. Using A Wand To Enhance Good Intention
I like to envision my wand as an energy tool which harnesses and directs good intention, as a means of bringing about change in myself, another person, a pet, or a situation.
I use my wand mainly to project healing energy onto a person who happens to be in a healing session with me, or I use it remotely, using a photo or an item belonging to the recipient of the healing. With the help of my wand, I project healing to shift blocks, or to heal wounds; even to work on pulling out pain or negativity. When I do a healing session, which involves pulling out any negativity, I ensure any negative energy is transmuted by asking for help from my spirit helpers. Then I also offer a prayer for the violet flame to transmute that negative energy, and finally, on cleaning the wand itself. Continue reading
Turn The Mutterflies Into Butterflies!
We so often forget to use our imagination for good things and good thoughts. Instead we bog ourselves down with those constant negative what-if’s. We get a case of the ‘mutterflies’ because our tummies, our core, is in literal crisis with all the stress we load upon our minds, our bodies and our spirit.
This is my call to you, dear reader, to turn those mutterflies into butterflies!
