Its early evening, and as I glance over my pets relaxing, it brings to mind the importance of keeping things simple. Only a couple of months ago we were in the process of moving continents and I was the one getting all uptight about how the animals would travel by road and air and road again.

Successful Relationships Need Moments Of Solitude
I can’t tell you how many times I get calls from clients asking me to see why they are having communication issues with their husbands, wives, boyfriends and girlfriends. All kinds of miscommunication problems arise in love and romantic relationships, so I will go in and aim to pinpoint what it is that is causing them grief.
First, I always look to see if their other half is cheating. I also check to see if there is what I call a “love cord connection”, just to make sure there is soul growth to be had within the connection. One of the most common misconceptions is that one needs to be “born” psychic to have the gift. The truth is we are all born with unique talents! However, like any other skill, practice is essential to honing and developing our psychic abilities.

Loving Yourself Unconditionally
The first person any of us learns to love is our self. And that’s how it should be, even if many of us forget how to do that somewhere along the way.
We live in a culture which is often harsh, judgmental, and narrow-minded, causing many of us to stop loving ourselves. Everyone has had a time when they felt “less than”, or imperfect. This becomes a snowball effect where we gradually put ourselves down all the time. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
How can we expect to show love for anyone else if we do not first love ourselves? So many of us think of love as an abstract “thing.” Love is not a thing; it’s an action. Seeing The True Spiritual Essence In Others
In 2005, for what seemed like seven very long months from the time of his diagnosis, I nursed my father through pancreatic cancer. Even the hospice staff complained that he was a difficult man, so the challenges weren’t only my imagination.
We’d all hoped for a miracle, and although I don’t usually read for myself, I did do a reading when he was diagnosed and was shown that he had six to twelve months to live. Meditation The Key To Mental Freedom
When we allow our minds to dwell too often on our past, or obsessively contemplate our future, we rob ourselves of the enjoyment of the moment.
Being fully present is the key to happiness. Being fully awake and aware of what is going on around us, in the here and now, is true mental freedom, in my opinion.
When I meditate, and focus only on my breath, I get to a point where I am free of thought. I can then completely allow all thoughts to come and go.. observed, but not noticed. It is then when I arrive at my “happy place”. I love to arrive at this inner place I so love. It’s a place of complete awareness, serenity and bliss; there really is nothing like it.
After my morning meditation I can go about the rest of my day without any ‘blinders’. The blinds to my mind have been pulled up and I can then connect with those that are on the same frequency as myself. Continue reading
