Turn The Mutterflies Into Butterflies!
We so often forget to use our imagination for good things and good thoughts. Instead we bog ourselves down with those constant negative what-if’s. We get a case of the ‘mutterflies’ because our tummies, our core, is in literal crisis with all the stress we load upon our minds, our bodies and our spirit.
This is my call to you, dear reader, to turn those mutterflies into butterflies!
Do you even remember what it is like to have a feeling of excitement, of anticipation, of hope? When I was a kid we described it as having “butterflies in the tummy”. We knew something good was going to happen and we were just so excited. So hopeful. So enthusiastic.
Walk with the dreamers, the believers, the courageous, the cheerful, the planners, the doers, the successful people with their heads in the clouds and their feet on the ground. Let their spirit ignite a fire within you to leave this world better than when you found it ~ Wilferd A. Peterson
Now that we are all grown up, those butterflies have gone. As adults living in a challenging world we create harmful thoughts and harmful situations, which can lead to disappointment should we not be careful. How hard could it be, I ask you, to just for one day or even one hour put a positive expectation after every “what-if” scenario you conjure up in that busy mind.
Regain anticipation!
Stop those ‘mutterings’ in your tummy. Ban those gloomy thoughts for a change. Whatever it is that is making you sick to your stomach with worry, begin thinking about it in a new way. Those butterflies will be fluttering about before you know it, and then one good thing will start leading to another. You’ll be free to recreate your present and build a brand new future.
