I think having intuitive abilities, such as knowing things before they happen, seeing auras, and sensing negative and positive energy, is something we all can do. I just had a real knack for tapping into that part of my mind, because I spent a lot of time by myself in the outdoors, or in my bedroom, and steered clear of drama and human chaos. Also, I hardly ever was exposed to electromagnetic poisoning by way of modern technology.
I was not raised Catholic, but while on a walk one day, I found behind a church a lineup of saint statues. At the end of the row was Mother Mary. I remember very clearly sitting in front of her sculpture and seeing an angel next to her. I prayed, as I was taught to do from a very young age, to be shown what I will be doing in my future. I wished to see who I will be, or at least get a glimpse of what lay ahead for me. Read the rest of this entry »
Faith is often defined by dogmas, doctrines, decrees, and creeds. However, these qualities have little to do with substantial spiritual aspects of faith and more to do with systems that attempt to define faith. A true spiritual idea of faith is not about believing the right things, but instead recognizing that our lives can be motivated by the good from which our lives originated.
There is a line in A Course in Miracles that says, “If you knew who walked beside you on the path that you have chosen, fear would be impossible.” Faith is at its core the understanding that there is something greater that ourselves assisting us in our forward momentum.
Are there correlations between faith and belief? In my experiences of channeling for years, I would say that the qualities of faith and belief do have a tie. You could say that faith and belief have a symbiotic relationship in our lives. Belief is essentially the catalyst of faith, however ‘right’ belief is not necessary for faith experiences. Are you closely acquainted with Lady Luck, or is she a stranger to your life? To be lucky or not depends on your personal view on luck. If you see luck as being pure chance and something you have absolutely no control over, then this will become your reality experience. Should you, on the other hand, see luck as that moment when opportunity and careful preparation finally come together, then this should have a massive impact on how much good luck you receive in your life!
Search your memory for the last time you bought a lottery ticket and what went through your mind when you did? Did you just put it away, not think about it and tell yourself that you never win anyway? Were your thoughts on something else, or did you conjure up some images as to how great it would be when you take your prize home? Hardly surprising what the outcome was, is it? When I work with clients or teach courses about relationships, the first area I look at is what they truly desire in a relationship, and how they want to feel. This applies whether one hopes to attract a soulmate, or improve a current relationship. It is also necessary to know before we choose to invest more time in any partnership, or to release it.
And yes, we are all able to have what we imagine, because we were born to create these experiences. We are each valuable, for exactly who we are. We all have special talents and gifts, but because we took a body, we have value.
If you don’t have complete clarity on what you want, one easy way to get started is to write a list of what you don’t want. Then, next to each negative statement, write the opposite of what you don’t want. Read the rest of this entry »
It is also very close to another age-old axiom, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Again, this sounds easy enough. And what if you are one of those people, as many of us are, who are not in the habit of treating yourself very well at all?
How do you typically treat yourself? Do you like yourself? Do you love yourself? Do you approve, care, and not judge yourself harshly? Are you kind and encouraging to yourself? Or is your internal mental chatter and expression riddled with thoughts like: Read the rest of this entry »
Many times in my life I’ve had to move on, leaving friends, family, relationships and spouses behind, because I outgrew them. The spiritual awakening process is a double-edged sword. When we awaken, our value systems change. The shift is a blessing, but burning bridges always hurts, and often when we least expect it.
One of the most obvious symptoms of knowing we’re no longer in sync with those around us, is when we can do nothing other than listen to our inner guidance, as it gets louder and louder. And, the more we tune into it, the more authentic we become and we can’t pretend anymore. Truth and integrity take over, because those values are more in alignment with our soul.
Often, those closest to us, align themselves with their own illusion of who they want us to be. They project onto us the values they think they most admire, and choose to find these in us, as opposed to who we really are. As Maya Angelou stated so wisely, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them; the first time.” Read the rest of this entry »
There is no end to learning for humanity. There is no one, really, who ‘knows it all.’ We are meant to keep on learning; there really is no limit or ceiling on how much there is for us to learn. We are always advancing. This is the whole purpose of our universal lives.
No matter how hard we work in this life, there almost always seems to be something missing… something we tried to reach for, but just seems to be out of our grasp. Maybe we tried a few times, but were disappointed, and eventually gave up. Then maybe we became depressed about this. It is a normal emotional reaction to become depressed, but it really doesn’t do us any good to give in to negative emotion. Read the rest of this entry »
The Isle of Avalon is a mythical place of healing, psychic learning, crafting, and the life and times of King Arthur. Figures such as Morgan Le Fay, King Arthur and Merlin the Magician are just a few legendary names associated with this Holy Isle. Though no longer here in the physical world, Avalon is still accessible through the inner worlds by way of meditation or immrama, an Irish-Welsh word meaning ‘spiritual journey on the astral plane.’
Avalon was known as training ground for priestesses who dedicated their life to spirituality, and to the Great Mother Goddess. These women trained in the arts of clairvoyance, herbalism, weaving and devotion to the Divine feminine. Read the rest of this entry »
