Use Color Therapy To Heal Your Chakras
Using color therapy to heal or unblock the chakras is a very effective way to restore balance to your entire being.
The chakras can influence your physical health, the functioning of your reproductive system, energy levels, and emotional balance. It can also affect speaking your truth, clear thinking, spiritual well-being and intuitive awareness. It is therefore important to keep your chakras in good balance and operating at their full potential.
Because each chakra rules a different area of the mind, heart and body, it is easy to spot when one of them is out of balance. For example, if you constantly have health or immune system issues, you may have an imbalance in your root chakra. Or, if you find yourself having trouble speaking up or saying how you really feel, your throat chakra might need some color therapy.
The seven chakra energy centers each resonate with one of the seven colors found in a rainbow or prism. Each chakra is located in a specific area of the body, and influence our energy flow as follows:
Root Chakra
Located at the bottom of your spine it resonates with the color red. Its physical health aspects include the lower body (legs, feet), the groin, male and female genital areas, and the root or base of the spine.
Creation Chakra

Are You Experiencing A Spiritual Awakening?
Doing psychic readings, I sometimes talk to someone who thinks they are ‘going crazy,’ but in actuality they are experiencing symptoms of spiritual awakening. But how does one recognize the common symptoms of spiritual awakening?
The term ‘spiritual awakening’ is somewhat overused these days in metaphysical circles. Just about anyone who has a ‘woo-woo’ moment, or gains deeper insight into a situation, or suddenly sees chakra colors, seems to believe they are having a true, full-blown ‘spiritual awakening.’
Spiritual awakening does tend to occur spontaneously, and from what I’ve witnessed, the more open-minded the person is and the less attached to outcomes they are, the more available or ‘ripe’ they are for a spiritual awakening to occur.
Just the other day a client was telling me of her experience while peeling a carrot over the kitchen sink. Time To Shake Out Your Rugs!
Every year when spring arrived, my mother used to say, “It’s time to shake out the rugs and get all the dust out that settled over the winter.” I never really understood what she was referring to. At the time I took it to be literal. It simply meant the rugs are dirty, so let’s shake them out and hang them on a clothesline in the fresh air. We would beat them with a rug beater, to make sure all the dust would come out. The rugs would then go back in the house, smelling fresh and looking like new.
Now that I have matured, I realize what she was referring to on a wisdom level. These days when the spring season arrives, I look at my life and say, “What do I need to get the dust out of?” And I don’t rush through this process, I truly look at the depth of what is slowing me down, from the goals I have set, or from manifesting my best reality. This year it is no different.
These past few days I have been focusing on my business life. I work out of a home office, which has been decorated with things that relate to my spirituality, including vision boards, special metaphysical items, books, cards, crystals and some office supplies, which has become an extremely cluttered mess.
My personal energy has also been cluttered lately, and I realized this while I was walking around the piles of papers on the floor. I also noticed the multitude of cards and books which no longer resonate with me, but were still sitting dormant on over-packed shelves. Effects Of The Full Moon
How will today’s full moon affect you? Many therapists and doctors will tell you they notice severely emotional, erratic and bizarre behaviors from some of their patients during a full moon. Studies also point to anecdotal evidence of higher rates of crime, emergency room admissions and surgical mistakes during a full moon.
There have even been reputable studies about the effects of the moon on human behavior. One of the more convincing studies on lunar madness showed that pets are more likely to be admitted to the vet with injuries after a full moon. One study published in the British Medical Journal stated that bites from animals were twice as frequent in a British emergency room during a full moon.
Police officers also swear crimes go up and become more bizarre during full moons. It is often the topic of conversation in precincts. I do not believe it is a coincidence that the tales of the werewolf all occur during a full moon!
The moon controls the water and tides of planet Earth. About 71 percent of the Earth’s surface is water-covered, and the oceans hold about 96.5 percent of all Earth’s water. Water also exists in the air as water vapor, in creeks, lakes and rivers, as well as in icecaps and glaciers, and in the ground as soil moisture. So, the fact that the moon has such a strong affect on the water of our planet, shows the deep impact she has on all of Earth and her creatures, who are also made of large amounts of water. Can You Rely On Psychic Prediction?
Prophecy is the act of predicting the future outcome of an event. Many sacred texts have references of a prophetic nature. Historic figures like Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce are infamous for their prophecies. In ancient times leaders would consult prophets. Many times it was before an important battle, to see if the gods were on their side. Let us fast forward to the 21st century and consider prophecy in modern day readings.
Predictions for relationships, career changes and such like, as well as the timeframes for such events to happen, are common requests during psychic readings. They are all valid requests and meaningful to the client. There is usually a desire and passion for direction and knowledge within the request.
What is important with these predictions is to bear in mind that the mechanics of Natural Law prevail in the future outcome. Quantum Physics, at a simplistic overview, is about probabilities. Sort of like winning the lottery and the probability of picking all the lucky numbers. It is deterministic and every so often there is a winner. The Fallacy Of Being Perfect
People who go around trying to be perfect, or aim to “live up to their maximum potential” seldom seem to be happy. Neither do they appear to be living fulfilling lives. Their constant striving to achieve or maintain perfectionism seems to take the joy out of their lives.
Spirit inspired this chain of thought in me as I remembered three psychic readings that I did recently. The theme of perfectionism and potential had a profound effect on all three of my clients’ lives and or their loved ones. With their permission I am briefly sharing their stories here.
The first client called me upset, because she felt she had ruined their holiday stressing about wanting to make everything perfect. Not only did she take the fun out of it for herself, but for everyone else involved.
I connected with Spirit and received this message for her: “Doing special things like making Easter eggs and cooking Thanksgiving dinner should be enjoyable. Some people will like it, and some people won’t. Next week no one will remember. Learn to enjoy these activities more, and just go with ebb and flow.
