Being Spirit’s Messenger
A friend named Laura lost her husband to terminal illness just a few weeks ago. I have known this friend for over three decades, and our friendship has been one of touching base every now and again, mainly on birthdays and anniversaries. She did let me know, however when Bill had passed.
The last time I saw Bill was about 15 years ago, when he came to me for divination – throwing the bones. Our connection wasn’t such a strong one that I would expect him to be present in my dreams within just four days of his passing. But he was there, in three of my dreams, one after the other. I gave those dreams very little attention, so the memory of them was vague by the following day.
My friend Laura has always been somewhat skeptical, even afraid of ‘the other side.’ When I had the fourth dream, still, within only a few days of Bill’s passing, I noted every detail and told her what had happened, and asked how she would feel if I shared what I felt was a message for her. Signs From The Spirit World
I have passed on endless messages of reassurance to my customers from their loved ones on the other side. The focus in most mediumship readings is typically on reassuring those left behind, on this side of the veil, that their deceased loved ones are actually very much alive and doing well. The dearly departed often let us know that they are unencumbered by any discomfort of a physical or emotional nature they may have experienced prior to their crossing.
Yesterday, I did a reading for a customer who received a profound message from her father. It made me think how I had not really been feeling my own father’s presence recently. That is, not since the final group gathering of my psychic development circle over two years ago, prior to my move to Spain. In that final group session, my dad communicated how I had been talking to his photo that very morning, just a few hours earlier. I blushed as the rest of the group laughed at my embarrassment. Mass Death A Form Of Group Karma?
I was recently asked if there is a difference in the process of transition to the spirit world when many people die simultaneously, compared to when they transition individually? Is the death process different when there is a mass loss of life?
This question may have been prompted by the increased awareness we have these days on social media of natural disasters, as well as other large scale tragedies caused by wars, plane crashes or acts of terrorism.

No Birth Date Needed, I’m Psychic!
When I do psychic readings by phone, clients sometimes ask if they should give me their birth date. But I don’t need to know their birthday to know anything about them, because I am able to uncover information using my psychic abilities.
Firstly, I often ‘feel energy’ moments before my client even calls. I begin to sense how they may be feeling seconds before the phone rings. I am clairsentient (empathic) and I feel negative or positive energy around people. I have an ability to sense if the person has toxic people around them, who are energetically draining them. I can feel what is hindering them. I would then share ways how they can get rid of any dis-ease, or toxic and energetically draining energy from their lives. Continue reading
Life After Life (Part 5 of 7) – Mediumship
Mediumship is the term used for spirit communication and is distinctly related to connecting to the spiritual essence of loved ones that have passed on. Throughout history, this label has been relegated to specific individuals called mediums, and the primary source of messages come through channeling or other experiences. However, the practice of mediumship can also be an individual or private practice.
Spirit is the transcendent force that unites all things, and it is this interconnected nature that allows us to connect with God, angels, spirit guides, and even loved ones that have transitioned into the realm beyond. It is through this innate connection that authentic psychic mediums gather information and channel it for their clients. Mediumship Is Not A Psychic Sideshow
Mediumship presented as entertainment is a double-edged sword. The media hype generated by psychic television shows, and live stage performances featuring celebrity mediums, has no doubt contributed much to an increased public awareness of mediumship. It has liberated spiritualism from the stereotype of the 19th century séance by bringing the work of the psychic medium into the public domain, and into mainstream pop culture.
But does mediumship as an entertainment genre do spiritualism and the daily work of psychics any real justice? I am certainly not a purist. Neither am I a traditionalist when it comes to spiritual matters. I tend to shy away from any form of fundamentalism or fanaticism. But having the work of talented mediums dished up as trivial amusement has certainly proven to be a mixed blessing in my own practice as psychic medium. Continue reading
The Sixth Chakra
The sixth chakra, or Ajna is located at the brow, right between the two physical eyes. It is symbolized by a lotus with two petals.
The animal totem of the sixth chakra is the black antelope or black panther. The musical note that resonates with this chakra is “A”. This is considered the intuition chakra and it is also referred to as the Third Eye.
It rules the sinuses, optic nerve, eyes, forehead and the frontal lobe of the brain. Its corresponding gland is the pineal gland.
The color for this chakra is a deep indigo. Foods to stimulate this chakra include Eggplant, blackberries, red cabbage.
Physically, Ajna deals with vision. Emotionally it deals with clarity on an intuitive level and mentally with visual consciousness. Spiritually it deals with compassion, empathy, foresight and psychic ability. Empaths, mediums, psychics, and intuitives usually have a very developed and open sixth chakra. Continue reading
