Solstice Forecast 2016
The most recent Solstice took place on June 20th, marked with a rare Full Moon in Sagittarius. This signifies the perfect time for us to become ‘archers’ and use focus, courage, and persistence in manifesting our biggest dreams and visions for the second half of 2016.
Since March this year, we have all been struck with spells of confusion, exhaustion and scattered energy. You can thank the intense solar flares, two eclipses, and the ongoing retrograde activity in Mercury, Mars, and now Neptune, for some of your most frustrating moments. This planetary non-movement has been forcing us to slow down, prioritize and reassess our lives, to rid it of anything that isn’t helping us grow. Look at it as a blessing in disguise!
Once Mars goes direct today, on June 30th, it will release a fire of emotions and aggressive energy which are going to increase as we move closer to November. With two Full Moons in Sagittarius, back to back, we are being given the opportunity to change our world by removing the old, outdated ways of existing and replacing it with fresh, forward thinking. Until My Time Comes, I’ll Dutifully Work My Shift
We come into this earthly existence to complete a task. This involves doing a job of some sort, which can be as basic as raising a family, establishing a corporation, or simply working in the fast food industry.
Some of us are extremely fortunate to know early on where our energy is best suited and how to meet our passion. Others may struggle for some time, until they find their own individual niche. But there are also those who never feel they have found their life purpose. Some do not even know what that seeking is all about.
Whichever way we go about it, all of these scenarios are all part of our unique spiritual paths and even though it may seem as if we are floundering at times, and wavering on our soul’s journey, this is still all part of the plan. Continue reading
Use Your Intuition For Safer Online Dating
The recent gruesome death of Ingrid Lyne in Seattle has attracted much attention from single women and generated renewed awareness of the potential risks of online dating. However, I still think online dating is one of the best ways to meet someone special, especially for those people whose circumstances do not allow them to interact with other single people on a daily basis.
According to the Pew Research Center around 5% of Americans who are in a marriage or committed relationship say they met their significant other online. A study by the National Academy of Sciences found that more than one third of marriages in the USA begin with online dating, and those couples seem to be slightly happier than couples who meet through other means. Cats Are Great Spiritual Teachers
When I think of the word love I think of my two cats. I have two cats and love them dearly. Most of the people I know also own cats, but we all seem to agree that we don’t really own our cats… our cats own us. We also agree that our lives are better, sweeter and more peaceful with our sweet precious cats. I feel a home isn’t truly a home unless there is a cat that dwells in it.
Cats are highly intuitive and very sensitive. They sense energy and can pick up on static electricity, ultrasonic sounds and changes in vibration. The cats I have lived with over the years always informed me in their own unique way of impending earthquakes, or some form of extreme weather that was approaching. Continue reading
Working With A Pendulum
The pendulum, when used for the highest good for yourself and others, can be great for spiritual growth and psychic development. Everyone is capable of using a pendulum in my opinion. It’s all about practice, practice, practice and the desire to become proficient with the pendulum.
Constant practice and experimentation will ensure ultimate success. When you start out with the pendulum, don’t be afraid to make a mistake, for mistakes are how people learn. Don’t get hung up on how it’s ‘supposed’ to work. How it chooses to work for the individual is the best way for that person.
With practice the results become reliable and clear. With experimentation and persistence one becomes more in tune with the higher self, subconscious and spirit. Life Is Sweeter With Kindred Souls
Some people simply add value to our lives. Kindred souls are true friends who make us feel that sharing space with them, or being around them, is right where we are meant to be. I call that comfortable, blissful feeling “being in Zen.”
Then of course we have all experienced sharing space with toxic people who make us feel like we need to leave immediately, because if we don’t take action we will soon start to feel depleted or drained. I like to describe that feeling as “going against the grain.” It very much feels like I’m doing something that doesn’t feel right, or that I am not where I’m supposed to be. Continue reading
