Developing Your Spirit Communication Skills
Spirit communication is the process of sending and receiving information to and from the spirit realm. This process can sometimes be overwhelming for individuals. The spirit realm and nature sends us inspiration, messages, comfort and guidance. In every moment of every day we receive information. Are we deciphering that information correctly? Are we also clear in our requests to Spirit?
There are many ways spirit communicates with us. For example, a synchronistic song playing on the radio, which we associate with a loved one in Spirit; unusual behaviors, or unexpected appearances of animals, birds or insects; seeing so-called ‘angel numbers’ or synchronistic clock times like 11:11 or 12:12; Ouija board messages, as well as Tarot and oracle card signs; pendulum dowsing; and dreams.
Then there are messages relayed by intuitives, psychics and mediums during professional readings, using the clair senses, channeling, divination and mediumship. These modes of communication can be natural for some, but also a developed skill for others.
Were you a child that had imaginary friends or saw relatives who were dead? If so, then you have the innate capability pre-developed, but you may need to enhance and strengthen your communication ability. Not to become a professional psychic reader, but to be better connected in life. Strengthening comes through discipline, commitment and a passion to be of service.
Healing Your Family Lineage
Have you ever heard a whisper from your ancestors that is clearly guiding you? Sometimes it also comes as a gesture of approval. I have heard my fair share, including one of my dearest family members whispering to me, and calling me by name, as she left her hospital bed at the time of her passing. It was so clear, sacred and spot on! She was letting me know how to deal with issues that would be coming my way after her passing, because she would no longer be there to protect me. And, oh, the validation! It meant so much – far more than my mere words can express. Stemming the flow is indeed observed by our ancestors.
Every lineage has wounds that are passed along throughout generations. The trauma is deeply ingrained in our ancestry. There are no exceptions. Lucky are those of us who have chosen to affect the healing of these imprints. Usually, in a generation, it is the task of the person that is most misunderstood.
If that person is you, it is your sacred task and a path of honor that is earned through hardship on many levels, especially familial relationships. No worries. Your ancestors are guiding you. If you listen closely, you will hear them speak encouragingly. And, be sure to watch for indications of their presence. Indeed, they are witnessing for you.
Spirit Orbs Among Us
Orbs are among us. These balls of light sometimes show up in photographs and are believed to be ghostly entities, as they typically show up in cemeteries and haunted buildings. However, it has been my experience that an orb can show up anywhere, anytime…even in places one would never expect to see one.
I have been seeing orbs all my life, as far back as I can remember. Seeing orbs always gives me a feeling of loving spirit around me. It is my belief that spirit orbs are pure energy and love. They are consciousness.
Some orbs that appear in a photograph may be a speck of dust or insect. But not the ones I see. In fact, when some of those ‘speck of dust’ photos are enlarged, you can sometimes recognize a face in it. So, you may want to take another look at some of those orb photos.
Orbs often just float right by, suspended in the air. They may stop and be stationary for a few seconds, and then speed right away. Orbs come in all shapes and sizes in an array of colors. Just like people they are all unique. And what one person can see, another may not see.
The Magic Of The Plant Kingdom
I recently enrolled in a course to become professional herbalist. Herbs are something I’ve always been interested in. I wouldn’t say I have a green thumb for growing plants and gardening, but I certainly do love immersing myself with the herbs. I love combining them with oils, making tinctures and herbal remedies, and doing all of this in a magical setting with candles and other healing modalities.
One of my herbalist instructors said something that stands out for me. She said that you don’t need to be a great gardener, farmer, or botanist to be an herbalist. She went on to say that many of her greatest students and graduates have been urban dwellers who live in big cities. Rather than growing and harvesting their own herbs, they purchase them from trusted suppliers, both locally and online.

Moon’s Mailbag # 1
Welcome to my new monthly blog entitled Moon’s Mailbag, wherein I will answer a variety of questions on all things metaphysical, paranormal and psychic. Yes, that’s right! Each month I will select a few of the questions I receive from my clients on Psychic Access. A Butterfly Message From My Father
My father passed away just over 12 years ago. Since then he has made frequent contact with from the other side. A few years ago, he used to be a frequent visitor at my monthly psychic circle, until it was discontinued when I relocated to another country.
The circle used to gather on the first Saturday of each month. At one particular sitting, we all heard my dad’s voice. His tone was crystal clear, but we were unable to decipher what he was saying. The other sitters had all met my dad before his passing and we were all very sure it was him.
I had never really felt the need to consult a medium after his passing, because of the messages we so often received in our own little circle. Plus, he was almost 80 when he passed, and considering his addictive lifestyle over the years, together with his struggle with pancreatic cancer, I don’t feel he wished to linger on this earthly plane any longer.
