The Disappointed Jesus In London

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comTo be fair, I did not visit to the city of London solely for esoteric purposes, but I found the energy signature quite different and stark there, compared to Athens and Berlin.

I found the atmosphere in Berlin, for example, electric, yet peaceful. Stepping off the U-Bahn at Wittenberg Platz in the middle of the high season, I was engulfed by a comforting low-level hum of German families and tourists doing their Saturday afternoon window shopping. The people here did not seem to have a care in the world. The streets were crowded , much like that of London, but not once did I feel a sense of angst or claustrophobia. The warm buzz was actually quite welcoming and pleasant… and this is major coming from a highly strung empath like myself.

Berlin woke me up on a Sunday morning with the nostalgic chiming of church bells. I was staying inside one of the surviving wings of the Neues Schauspielhaus on Nollendorf Platz, in the Schöneberg district of Berlin. It was built in 1905 as a theatre and concert hall, in the then fashionable Art Nouveau style. Maybe Bertold Brecht was there in the 1920s, discussing his plays with someone in the very room I slept in that night, or maybe the bands Depeche Mode or The Human League used it as a dressing room in the 1980s. While those bells were ringing in the distance, I almost expected Christopher Isherwood’s character Sally Bowles to sneak down the corridor of this old building, back from a busy, decadent night’s work at the Kit Kat Club cabaret. The Year Of The Horse

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comJanuary 31 marked the Lunar New Year, the most important day in the Eastern zodiac. After a problematic 2013, many are hoping this year, which is that of the Wood Horse, will be a more promising one.

The Horse is traditionally one of the most outgoing, adventurous signs of the Eastern zodiac. Compare him to the sign of Sagittarius in the Western zodiac.

Those born in Horse years are said to be exuberant, independent, and optimistic. So what will that mean for the world this year? Be especially careful with financial matters this year. Horse can be impulsive and overly generous. You won’t want to make decisions you regret later. Continue reading

My Favorite Healing ‘Crystals’ – Part 1

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comI absolutely love crystals. Some people may call them “stones” or “rocks”, I call them “healing crystals“. Anyone who collects them for metaphysical purposes will often refer to them as such.

Crystals all have a vibration and discharge energy. Quartz Crystal, for example, are used to power wrist watches and I’m sure many other devices.

Tourmaline is wonderful as its absorbs Electro Magnetic Frequencies (EMF). I use them in making grids for protection from negative people and electric pollution. I will explore Tourmaline further in another blog post.

My very favorite healing crystal is called “Tiger’s Eye.” Tiger’s Eyes is used to open the Third Eye, when doing healing on the body and also used when doing a chakra cleansing. The Zodiac sign that it gravitates to is Leo and Capricorn. Continue reading

Empath Unplugged At Bath Spa

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comThe host at Burghope Manor country inn in Bradford-on-Avon, England, is a very wise man. He has seen many travelers come and go over the years, and obviously knows what is best for each of them.

When I told him I had downloaded an audio tour on my iPod, from the local tourism website, and was going to do a “Jane Austen walk” through the historic town of Bath, he gave me a skeptical look like only the British can and said, “You might want to stop by the Roman Baths first. It is a must-see, but go there early in the morning, before the tour groups arrive from London.”

Well, who am I to argue with such a determined a messenger of the Universe?

Arriving at the Roman Baths Museum, I was planning to have a quick 30 minute browse around and then go off in pursuit of the famous Ms Austen’s favorite haunts. Well, what is usually a 90 minute visit for most to the baths, if you use the museum’s audio guide, became for me a four hour metaphysical adventure. Continue reading

Spirit’s Many Unusual Ways To Make Contact

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comI have always been fascinated by the many ways the spirits of loved ones use to get someone’s attention after they passed away.

In the past I have written about how my grandfather employed different means to get my attention after he passed away, including the smell of cigar smoke and mysterious phone calls.

For several years I kept smelling grandpa’s cigar smoke. And before I knew my grandfather passed away, I got two phone calls from him on my parents old black phone. Later in life I received another phone call from him on my way home after a very long trip.

Since my father’s passing I get the smell of cigar smoke, just like I did with my grandfather. It is not exactly the same type of smell, but I know it is him. Continue reading

Would Turning Your Fantasy Into Reality Be Wise?

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comHow many thoughts do we have per day? Nobody seems to know for sure and the experts don’t agree, but they all seem to concur that it is ranges somewhere in the thousands. We also have many daydreams and fantasies that cross our minds on a daily basis.

Many of these thoughts and daydreams we would never share with our mates, friends, or family. Many of us never act on our fantasies, for various obvious reasons: we want to stay married, or we want to stay in the same job, or we fear failure should we attempt something new and different. Some of us may even fear that we could end up behind bars in extreme cases. Continue reading

Old Green Eyes – The Ghost of Chickamauga

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comThe American Civil War was fought 150 years ago, yet people remain fascinated with its history. As it turns out, the battlefield said to be the most haunted is located right here in the South, not too far from where I live.

Chickamauga, on the border of Tennessee and Georgia, takes its name from a Native American word meaning “bloody river.” It was the second bloodiest battle of the war after Gettysburg, so the name turned out to be quite fitting.

Many ghosts, including those of a Confederate soldier and a bride-to-be pining for her lost fiancée, have been spotted at Chickamauga. But the most famous legend, “Old Green Eyes,” may not even be a traditional ghost at all. Legends surrounding the spirit go back to the Cherokee and Creek tribes who originally lived in the area. They tell of a large-bodied creature, or sometimes a floating head, with sharp fangs and glowing green eyes. Continue reading
