Abalone used as a bowl for sage and clearing can help to intensify the release of negative energy in a house or office. Abalone can calm emotions and bring a “watery” serene feeling to one’s energy or to a situation. Abalone brings the element and energy of the sea into any home it is displayed in. Water is healing, cleansing, mystical and sharpens intuition. Wearing abalone can help with developing psychic visions and intuition. Tree Insights
If you told me a month ago that I would have a conversation with a tree, I would most likely not have believed it. Not that I am closed off to such experiences, but rather because I have never had any kind of engagement with nature on this level.
This weekend I was hiking with some friends, and there was a moment when I was separated from them. One of my friends went ahead of me, and the other two lagged behind. We were on a train, so I was confident that we would eventually meet up. So, I appreciated this time to myself for reflection and contemplation.
I sat down and began to meditate. As I did so, I turned my attention to a very large tree that must have been there for hundreds of years. I recalled something that I had channeled in the book I was writing. I recently wrote about how everything has a spirit, including animals and plants. I had not really thought much about this in the past. Most of my spiritual insights have been associated with interactions with angels, spirit guides, and individuals who have passed on. This said, I am certainly open to interacting with the spirit’s of animals and plants. Continue reading
Visitation From Grandpa In My Meditation Garden
I like to spend time in my meditation garden. It’s a very healing place I go to connect with my higher self, spirit guides, the guides of my clients, and loved ones who have crossed over. Sometimes it is a place I go to just sit and be still and enjoy the sweet smells of all the wonderful different flowers that live there.
The other day I was focusing on my time with my Grandpa and just embracing gratitude for that wonderful experience. I was focusing on the first visitation I had from him about a month after his passing, when he came to me to tell me he loves me. He told me telepathically that he was okay and doing fine. He told me he would come through again if he could, and he did. Continue reading
Intuition – The Unconscious Language Of The Soul
Primitive man greatly relied on his intuition, because he thought in images and symbols, and listened to his ‘inner voice’ and trusted his ‘gut’. Early man fluently spoke the language of the intuitive mind, the language of his spiritual origins.
Man is born intuitive, because man is of spiritual origin. Intuition is the earthly language of Spirit and it transcends the limitations of this time-space dimension.
Some scientists argue that intuition is merely an aspect of our normal human intelligence developed out of primitive man’s animalistic survival instincts. The concepts of “relying on your instincts” and “following your intuition” is therefore often used inter-changeably or in the same context. Many people assume that instinct and intuition are the same thing. This is however an incorrect assumption. Continue reading
Candle Divination
Certain rituals or daily actions can sometimes trigger a powerful memory. This just occurred as I was lighting some candles in my work area. The lighting of the candles prompted me to look for some notes I had tucked away relating to the flame of a candle, because for some reason my lit candles seemed to be demanding my attention.
Reading the notes took me back to a psychic awareness event I attended many years ago. A colorful lady, who made and sold her beautiful candles, gave an engaging talk at this get-together. She was passionate about the symbolism of the movement of the candle flame. She reminded her audience that as spirit affects the atmosphere around us, with anything from a gentle breeze to an icy chill in the air, they often also communicate with us by influencing the flame of a candle. The Metaphors In Chakra Colors
We are very affected by the colors in our homes, work environment and by the colors of food we eat and the colors we wear. Color permeates our very existence.
In Kundalini yoga, it is the tradition that teachers wear white outfits made of natural fibers, with a white covering over their heads. Just like the color white deflects the sun and black absorbs it, white also deflects negativity and the color black attracts and absorbs it.
Teaching Kundalini can attract students who are very evolved, and also many who are really struggling and sometimes even emotionally unstable. Wearing white can protect a teacher from the negative energy that may emanate from a person in class and is sometimes directed toward, or projected onto the teacher. Continue reading
Animals As Healers
Pet owners know about the many benefits of animals in their lives. But what exactly do they give us beyond companionship?
Our ancient ancestors not only loved animals; they revered them. Many of these cultures were shamanic and knew of the psychic properties of all the animals in our world. Today we live in a modern world, but these connections are still there. Animals that we regard as common or even nuisances, such as pigeons, ants, spiders, and even rats, all have lessons to teach us. And we can learn, even as we avoid them.
As with our dreams, it’s a good idea to keep a small journal on the animals you encounter. Think about what each creature means to you personally. Meditate on the way it sounds, moves, and looks. A gray squirrel in a park may give you the idea to become more agile and quick physically, or that you need to start saving money for lean times. No two people will see an animal the same way.
