Tarot Cards And Toxic Relationships
If intuition is the foundation for being a psychic, then divination tools are like putting on glasses to see the details. Tarot cards can reveal a person’s real intentions and provide a bigger picture into any situation that requires clarity.
When I use the Tarot for a love or relationship reading, I look for specific cards or combinations that show harmony or growth within the relationship or person. Here is a list of cards that typically catch my eye as major red flags, or signal that the connection between two people may be toxic.
The Magician

Psychic Predictions Are Potentialities
I have had readings with psychics and mediums that are considered the best of the best, and some of their information and predictions did not always work out so well. But I have always understood from a spiritual perspective that this is something that can happen from time to time.
People usually contact a psychic or medium for reading because they have questions and concerns. They are looking for answers, for guidance and support. Most people are looking for advice and closure in times of strife or turmoil – to give them hope that the sun will indeed rise again tomorrow. Of course, many people also hope to receive predictions about future outcomes.
Trance, Transfiguration And Channeling
When an authentic psychic medium is doing a reading, they are entering into varying levels of trance, or altered states of consciousness, to access information from the Spirit realm. The Collins dictionary defines this as “a state of mind in which someone seems to be asleep and to have no conscious control over their thoughts or actions, but in which they can see and hear things and respond to commands given by other people.”
Each reader has their own process of making the connection and style of disseminating the information. Not only are psychic readers ‘seeing’ and ‘hearing’ things, and responding to commands from the Spirit side of life, but they are simultaneously also energetically connected with the client and walking between the two realms, namely that of the Spirit realm and the present moment.

I feel that the neighbors that live above and below you, as well as to the left and right, are all part of the issue. Begin by smudging your home with sage. Start at the entrance. Close all windows except for the back bedroom window; instead open it halfway for working the negative energy out of your home.
Develop Your Animal Communication Skills
Many of us have relationships with our pets so close that we are convinced they understand everything we say. A holistic vet told me many years ago that he visualizes what he is going to do when he is treating an animal. He then asks permission psychically and also thanks the pet. I began to monitor this at future visits and noticed my dog would turn his paw for blood work. Or he would release a big sigh and relax into the vets vibration. Fascinating.
In the animal kingdom there is an incredible language of energetic connection within the same species. The subtlest body posture sends a message from one animal to the next. Perhaps it is stating, “I’m the alpha, what do you want?” Or perhaps it’s just saying, “Hey, you seem interesting, can we chat?”
Night Owls
I am a typical night owl. ‘Night owl’ is the nickname often given to people who are typically awake late at night, while the rest of the world are asleep and dreaming. I believe as long as one gets enough sleep to maintain your health, it really doesn’t matter whether you are a night owl… or an early bird. ‘Early bird’ is, of course, the nickname that is usually assigned to the early risers.
This brings up a question that my clients and students ask a lot. Why do I wake up almost every night between 3:00 and 4:30am? Well, it’s traditionally called the ‘witching hour.’ As a psychic medium I know from experience that this is the time when spirit can come through more easily, because there is more moisture in the air at this time of the night. We are bio-electrical beings and spirit is pure energy. With water being a conductor for electricity, it makes sense it would be easier for them to communicate with us at this time.
The Fundamentals Of Psychic Development
I just finished teaching an intensive psychic development course called Discovering Your Intuitive and Mediumistic Abilities. All the material that was discussed, and the questions from my students, are still fresh in my mind. So, I felt it is a good time to write about it today.
Firstly, it has been my experience that there isn’t just one kind of person interested in psychic subject matter. My students over the years have included professionals, trades people, retired seniors, students, and stay-at-home moms. I have had a heart surgeon, a nurse, restaurant servers, hairstylists and even a workman who does dry walling, as students in my classes.
It is my belief that everyone is psychic and can learn to read energy and communicate with spirit in some way. Some of my students will go on to become professional psychics, mediums, intuitives, or energy workers. Others take the class merely for their own spiritual growth or personal development. About 90% of my students are empaths, or care-givers who work with the public in some way.
