The Akashic Halls Of Learning
Many of us are seeking to clear out residual emotional blockages from earlier life experiences, as well as from our past lives, not to mention seeking the deeper meaning of our lives. But not many know that this process depends on the Akashic records.
I first became aware of the Akashic records in my childhood, when it came up in a conversation with my father during one of our many walks. On these walks, he’d often open up about his views on the mystical side of life. For some reason, he sensed I would be open to and unafraid of ‘other worldly’ topics of conversation. I would often journal things my dad told me soon after we arrived home. I was a very lonely kid during that particular period of my life, and I now realize that the loneliness was part of my chosen life lesson. We’d moved from the bustle of a busy town to a remote home in the countryside of the Canary Islands. I had a lot of time to myself and was often alone to journal and ponder the notes I’d made on life’s mysteries.
At that time my dad was into reading all the Lobsang Rampa books he could lay his hands on. The particular book he was reading at the time dealt with the Akashic records, or “Halls of Learning” as my dad liked to call it. My dad explained how the Akashic records contain all the knowledge of absolutely everything that has ever happened in this world. “Every world has its own Akashic records, in much the same way that countries outside of our own have their own radio programs,” I remember him saying.
Everything that happened in the past is preserved in the trace left by its spiritual prototype, and can be observed in the spiritual world. This kind of vision is called ‘reading the Akashic records’ ~ Rudolf Steiner
My father believed that historians would be shocked to see how true historical events had really taken place, as opposed to how they are now logged, passed down and translated. He said it is a bit like ‘the broken telephone’ game. I remember taking part in such a game as an adult during a training session at a company I worked for. What a shocker it was to see how the original message, initiated by the facilitator, already turned out entirely different and distorted by the time it had only been voiced by the third person in our group of ten!
Those who know how to do it, can tune into the Akashic records and see events of history. They can also look into their own and other people’s lives. But, there is more to the Akashic records than just satisfying idle curiosity. One can also look into these records and see what went wrong with one’s own plans in previous lifetimes.
When we eventually leave this Earth, we cross over to another plane of existence, where every single one of us has to face up to what we did, or what we did not do. We see the whole of our recent past life with the speed of thought through the Akashic records. We view it, not just from the time that we were born, but from the time that we planned how and where we would be born. Then, having that knowledge and having seen our errors, we plan again and try once more, just like a child at school seeing what went wrong with answers to the examination papers, and then subsequently planning to take the examination all over again.
Past life readers can tell us who we were in a past life, and what we were doing, by accessing the Akashic records. I recently read the story of a young boy who told his mother all about a pre-birth experience he had of being “in her tummy” before he died. He then shortly after returned “to her tummy” and this time he was born. His mom was speechless because, she had, in fact, miscarried shortly before falling pregnant with him!
Upon time and space is written the thoughts, the deeds, the activities of an entity – as in relationships to its environs, its hereditary influence; as is directed – or judgement drawn by or according to what the entity’s ideal is ~ Edgar Cayce
There are also many reports of people ‘sleep travelling’ in order to view the Akashic records. Frequently their memory is distorted, but more often than not, they feel they have received an answer to help them on their life’s journey.
I always envisioned the ‘Halls of Learning’ my dad spoke of as resembling vast libraries, with levels of bookshelves on many floors, and even several buildings for specific topics. My dad was trying to explain from what he’d read that an Akashic record is made up of an vibration. It is a special kind of vibration made of sound, quite unlike that which we would be familiar with on this earth plane, but that the closest we might compare it to would be a radio wave. He also said these records are like an indestructible radio broadcast which goes on and on.
All human experiences and knowledge of this world is recorded in the Akashic records. The energy frequency of the Akasha is very high. Therefore we can typically only access and receive information from it, while in our earthly, human form, with spiritual practice and metaphysical training to help speed up our own wave receptivity.
