Would You Rather Be Right, Or Happy?
A recent unethical experience with a large company prompted me to ask a few people from various walks of life if they would rather be right, or happy? Most, including my husband, said they would definitely prefer to be right! The unpleasant incident caused me stress and considerable expense, but in the end, I’m glad I chose the latter – to be happy.
I purchased a power generator with a twenty hour backup at an ultimate cost of about $2,300 dollars, including installation and subsequent lawyer fees. I dealt with a salesperson at the retail outlet who told me the unit was too simple to warrant them installing it, and that if I could use a laptop, I could install the unit myself by following the instructions on a compact disc. Beware Of Psychic Scams With An Ominous Twist
In some of my previous blogs I wrote about fake psychics wanting to get their hands on your hard-earned money. Well, this time I want to warn you about another kind of psychic scam – fake psychics who are not only after your money, but who are also energy vampires. Yes, the main aim of this species of troll is to make you feel bad, upset you emotionally or send you into a state of depression… and then make you pay for it with cash.
Recently, I had a client who called me about a man that she really cares about. She had first gone to a ‘psychic reader’ who works close to her hometown. I Have No Rest, But Only Turmoil
Recently I was asked to go to the home of a friend who I used to work with. There was something paranormal going on at her house and had asked for my help.
The house is more than a 100 years old and it is divided into three sections, with two upper levels. When I entered the house I felt there was an energy around that was positive and benevolent, but there was also something there that was negative and malicious. It was clear to me that this house was home to some kind of daily spiritual tension or battle.
It was getting close to midnight and I wanted to start taking pictures, both with the light turned on and off. First I lead us in prayer asking for protection and guidance. After the prayer we both introduced ourselves, to let whoever was present know that we meant no harm. Shadow Beings Be Gone!
Very recently, for a period of just a few days at around dusk, I kept on seeing dark shadow figures to my left, in my peripheral vision. These dark shadows would move quickly and, although not eerie, they were unlike what I usually witness when I see spirit. My Husky cross, Collie, is always sensitive to the presence of spirit in my work room, and I know from her stares at these dark shadows that she saw them too, but she wasn’t at all perturbed.
It occurred to me only a few days ago that during that brief period of witnessing the shadowy figures, a few chaotic days followed: a water heater burst, a generator went up in smoke, the washing machine seemed to have reprogrammed itself, my older dog was diagnosed with a tumor, my youngest dog ate some of my cash money, as well as other minor aggravations, like power outages. Turn The Mutterflies Into Butterflies!
We so often forget to use our imagination for good things and good thoughts. Instead we bog ourselves down with those constant negative what-if’s. We get a case of the ‘mutterflies’ because our tummies, our core, is in literal crisis with all the stress we load upon our minds, our bodies and our spirit.
This is my call to you, dear reader, to turn those mutterflies into butterflies!

Lasting Love
I have done readings for so many people that swore their loved one would never return to them. Well, I just love getting updates or feedback from my clients telling me how wrong they were, and that what I was seeing was very much a real possibility.
If there is a love chord connection, the other person that you long for never is truly gone. They may be physically gone for a while, but never far in thought and spirit. I strongly believe, and know from experience, that we do communicate with loved ones we can’t be with in physical proximity. The Myth Of Spiritual ‘Life Lessons’
It is not true that we must live a challenging, tormented life to learn certain spiritual “lessons”. Believing that we are here to “learn” is merely a justification that some folks offer to make sense of the bad things that sometimes happen to good people.
The irony is that those who choose to believe this myth will most likely have to face one trial and tribulation after the other, just as they expected. If someone’s life is awash with “weeping and gnashing of teeth” it is often because they choose it to be so.
The hardship and suffering we see in this world is mostly man-made. Misery is something we inflict on ourselves, and each other. It is not of Spirit, Source or God. Continue reading
