When Your Inner Guidance Loses Direction
No matter where you are in life, you are never without direction. Within each of us dwells a special voice that serves as a compass. This instrument of higher direction is always poised to guide us, especially when we need it the most.
Some call this inner guidance intuition or a sixth sense. It has been written about in the sacred texts of multiple faith traditions, and is often described as a special gift that some are born with or develop through life, when one’s belief in the celestial realm is augmented by a deep faith. For some this gift is also said to be cultivated over time through diligent metaphysical practice and study.
Whatever the origin is for intuition, we can affirm that this manifestation is a gift from a realm of higher consciousness that is accessible in the here and now. We can also rejoice in knowing that each of us has a capacity to tap into this amazing ability to guide ourselves, and each other.
Psychic Detectives
Movies and TV shows featuring psychics who solve baffling mysteries and crimes have become increasingly popular in recent years. Some might dismiss it as mere fiction, but there’s actually a strong factual foundation to many of these psychic detective story-lines.
Psychics using their paranormal abilities to find missing persons and solve crimes goes back to ancient times, when oracles in Greece or Rome would be consulted to unravel mysteries. Today, law enforcement agencies, from the local police to the FBI, have been known to call upon the input of a psychic when all other leads have been exhausted.
Sometimes people ask why psychics aren’t always consulted from the beginning. The simple answer is: skepticism and public opinion. Psychic work is not an exact science and therefore typically seen to be a ‘last resort’ when all else fails.
Tarot Cards And Toxic Relationships
If intuition is the foundation for being a psychic, then divination tools are like putting on glasses to see the details. Tarot cards can reveal a person’s real intentions and provide a bigger picture into any situation that requires clarity.

Psychic Predictions Are Potentialities
I have had readings with psychics and mediums that are considered the best of the best, and some of their information and predictions did not always work out so well. But I have always understood from a spiritual perspective that this is something that can happen from time to time.
People usually contact a psychic or medium for reading because they have questions and concerns. They are looking for answers, for guidance and support. Most people are looking for advice and closure in times of strife or turmoil – to give them hope that the sun will indeed rise again tomorrow. Of course, many people also hope to receive predictions about future outcomes.

I feel that the neighbors that live above and below you, as well as to the left and right, are all part of the issue. Begin by smudging your home with sage. Start at the entrance. Close all windows except for the back bedroom window; instead open it halfway for working the negative energy out of your home.
The Fundamentals Of Psychic Development
I just finished teaching an intensive psychic development course called Discovering Your Intuitive and Mediumistic Abilities. All the material that was discussed, and the questions from my students, are still fresh in my mind. So, I felt it is a good time to write about it today.
Firstly, it has been my experience that there isn’t just one kind of person interested in psychic subject matter. My students over the years have included professionals, trades people, retired seniors, students, and stay-at-home moms. I have had a heart surgeon, a nurse, restaurant servers, hairstylists and even a workman who does dry walling, as students in my classes.
It is my belief that everyone is psychic and can learn to read energy and communicate with spirit in some way. Some of my students will go on to become professional psychics, mediums, intuitives, or energy workers. Others take the class merely for their own spiritual growth or personal development. About 90% of my students are empaths, or care-givers who work with the public in some way.
How To Get More From A Psychic Reading
There are several ways you can ensure to get the most from a spiritual reading session with a psychic or medium. Firstly, proper etiquette is important. Show respect for Spirit by being prepared for your reading. Have your questions ready. Clear your mind. Focus on what is being said and what you can learn. If you are not sure of the context, ask for clarity.
There are also things you should refrain from doing during an online or phone psychic reading. Do not pour drinks, go to the bathroom, turn on the TV, or let the dog out during your reading. You would not do those things if you were in person at the psychic’s office. Get those things out of the way before you call. Although people sometimes think they are fully engaged while doing additional tasks, they often miss the point altogether, or attach a completely different interpretation to what Spirit is saying.
Furthermore, you can get much more from a reading session by allowing time afterwards to sit for a moment, and reflect. Think of additional examples where the information and learning can be applied. If something is true for a work situation, it might also be very relevant to your personal life. Set a goal to keep this learning front and centre, in such a way that you can continue to benefit from the reading in the coming days. Continue reading
