Moon’s Mailbag # 2
Welcome to my monthly blog, Moon’s Mailbag, wherein I answer a variety of questions. Each month I select a few of the questions I receive from my clients on Psychic Access and answer them here for the benefit of all. Q: How does one do a house cleansing? I live alone in an apartment and for some reason I feel inundated by negative energy. Please help.
I feel that the neighbors that live above and below you, as well as to the left and right, are all part of the issue. Begin by smudging your home with sage. Start at the entrance. Close all windows except for the back bedroom window; instead open it halfway for working the negative energy out of your home.
The Fundamentals Of Psychic Development
I just finished teaching an intensive psychic development course called Discovering Your Intuitive and Mediumistic Abilities. All the material that was discussed, and the questions from my students, are still fresh in my mind. So, I felt it is a good time to write about it today.
Firstly, it has been my experience that there isn’t just one kind of person interested in psychic subject matter. My students over the years have included professionals, trades people, retired seniors, students, and stay-at-home moms. I have had a heart surgeon, a nurse, restaurant servers, hairstylists and even a workman who does dry walling, as students in my classes.
It is my belief that everyone is psychic and can learn to read energy and communicate with spirit in some way. Some of my students will go on to become professional psychics, mediums, intuitives, or energy workers. Others take the class merely for their own spiritual growth or personal development. About 90% of my students are empaths, or care-givers who work with the public in some way.
A Second Opinion From Spirit
Everyone who has psychic gifts to see, hear and feel knows better than to give medical advice. It is usually not a good idea for many reasons. However if we receive information from Spirit and we decide it wise to share it with our clients, with the idea that they will further consult their primary care physician, health care professional or someone who is medically trained, this can be at times be very beneficial.
Here is a recent example of how this can be helpful. A good friend who I see and read for regularly, asked me to take a look at her daughter who has been extremely ill. Apparently her daughter had seen a doctor. However, being an intuitive herself, she felt that she was unsure if she was given the proper diagnosis and asked if I felt she would be healed soon, as she doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Psychic Prediction – Free Will, Fate Or Divine Destiny?
Psychic reading is often assumed to be synonymous with fortune-telling, and while they may seem similar on the surface they are in fact two very different practices. Psychic reading is a spiritual practice… a sacred portal to manifesting your true destiny. Fortune-telling, on the other hand, is a fallacy and potentially dangerous and destructive.
Yes, fortune-telling is a myth. Nobody can ‘tell your fortune’ for the simple reason that you don’t actually have a ‘fortune.’ Your fortune is something you create every day through your beliefs, thoughts, choices, decisions and actions. You are a spiritual being continuously seeking physical expression in your current incarnation. And therefore you are the creator of your own reality experience, and the designer of your own destiny. When Tarot Cards Are ‘Wrong’
As a Tarot reader through many seasons, I have seen for myself where interpretation, listening to instinct and understanding the true meaning behind the cards makes for a better and more rounded reading. But perhaps the Tarot in and of itself will want to play tricks on you. This too I have seen many times!
People tend to misunderstand the Tarot, its meaning, and more importantly, its true purpose. It was never intended as a fortune telling tool per se. It can only be through careful study and a willingness to open one’s mind and heart, that reading the Tarot can be truly successfully mastered. Yes, even to the point of predicting time frames – something clients love, of course, but which can be very tricky to predict. Intuition, Psychic Ability And Mediumship
Throughout time mankind has explored the ability to communicate with the gods, with nature, or with each other on a non-verbal level. It is extremely common for us to use the term intuitive. these days. It is often the explanation given by many an entrepreneur or successful decision-maker: “I just trusted my gut,” or “What I love about Mary is she is just so intuitive and makes the right decisions.”
The term psychic on the other hand, although nowadays often well known within a household, conjures up for so many outside the metaphysical community feelings of distrust, fake, absurd, not possible. Perhaps these attributes are attached because of our personal belief system that does not value or agree with the skill set. This also can impact our personal relationships if we know it is real and others judge us since we may then hide our abilities as being psychic and connected with the unseen realm or worse shut down and not continue developing them. The Healing Power Of Empathetic Listening
“They don’t listen to anything I say,” are words we often hear. People long to be acknowledged, and from my experience this is something people in many parts of the world are missing, as we all rush from place to place. The inhabitants of a modern day home tend to become like passing ships in the night to their loved ones, and hardly communicate with one another.
Really listening to another goes straight to the heart. It opens the empath and the medical intuitive’s eyes to that which any X-ray or computerized tomography (CT) scan cannot. Active listening is the most powerful catalyst for change in any healing therapy. Continue reading
