A Year Of Endings And Goodbyes
This year, so far, has been a difficult time for many, not only for my clients, but for myself, as well. The static on the planet continues to increase. Actually, I first noticed the dramatic increase during the first week of June 2015, but today I want to focus on the year 2016.
In recent weeks, I felt the past resurfacing and washing over me like a surfer wave. For one thing, we are in a nine year in numerology, which denotes a year of goodbyes, endings, deaths and ultimately rebirth.
If you experience the past washing over you, as well, whether in the form of reliving past experiences, saying goodbye to some part of yourself that you no longer need, or letting an actual person from your past go, the point is to think about what these intense episodes are teaching you. The Wisdom Of Real Food
My relationship with food evolved the day I decided to start my own garden. I didn’t have much space where I lived, so I rented a plot in a community garden nearby, for a very small fee.
Although it soon became a part-time job, it also turned into my sanctuary. Any stress from the day cleared when I went there. I was always eager to go there and visit my growing family of fruits, herbs, flowers and vegetables. It made me feel like a child again!
Connecting with the Earth on such a deep level also gave me a new perspective on my spiritual identity. From being inspired by fellow gardeners to teaching my son important life skills, I was motivated to get serious about treating my body like a temple and also raising awareness in others. Something I once took for granted and paid little attention to, became a great passion and concern for me. Continue reading
A Little Bird’s Message Of Gratitude
Today, I drove into our small Spanish town to run a few errands and, for some reason, which I now feel could have been ‘guided’, I parked much further away from the center of town than was actually necessary.
Shortly after parking, then crossing the street, I found a young bird on the ground, which I thought, at first, had flown into a wall and injured itself. Rather than risk driving it home and traumatizing it further, I scooped it up. It appeared to be quite at ease perched on my hand on our fast walk to the vet, Salvador, whose office was just ten minutes away.
I felt strongly that this little bird had a spiritual message for me. As soon as I walked into Salvador’s practice, he smiled and said, “Very common this time of year. He is just getting his young flying practice and needs us to help give him a lift into flight from a height.” He offered to take him home, during his approaching siesta (afternoon recess) and to set him free from a hilltop. The Angel Messages In Number Patterns
Two ideas in the psychic realm often overlap: our angel guides and the symbolism of numbers. Each of us has guardian angels or spiritual guides. If we are spiritually aware we often also notice that we see certain patterns of numbers throughout the day and in our dreams: the time, dates, addresses, phone numbers, road signs. These are often messages from our angels!
So, how can we draw meaning from what seem like completely random numerical patterns? Let’s use the number 12, or 1212, as an example. The number 12 is a powerful cipher in Numerology: it represents the completion of a cycle, as well as the anticipation of new beginnings. Cats Are Great Spiritual Teachers
When I think of the word love I think of my two cats. I have two cats and love them dearly. Most of the people I know also own cats, but we all seem to agree that we don’t really own our cats… our cats own us. We also agree that our lives are better, sweeter and more peaceful with our sweet precious cats. I feel a home isn’t truly a home unless there is a cat that dwells in it.
Cats are highly intuitive and very sensitive. They sense energy and can pick up on static electricity, ultrasonic sounds and changes in vibration. The cats I have lived with over the years always informed me in their own unique way of impending earthquakes, or some form of extreme weather that was approaching. Continue reading
The Spiritual Significance Of 11:11
In my previous blog about Guiding Numbers, I explained that many spiritually aware people are frequently seeing certain number sequences; how these numbers could be affecting our lives; and what some of the sequences may mean. These number are typically seen on digital clocks, license plates, receipts, home addresses, text messages, and so forth. They are signs given to us by our spiritual guides, or the Universe. In the previous article I listed the most basic sequences of 000 through 999, but I didn’t elaborate much on 11:11. This number sequence is one of the most important to be aware of, in my opinion. Creating Your Reality – Survivor, Sinner Or Saint?
To create, attract and manifest is an innate metaphysical ability we all have access to as beings of Divine origin. Jane Roberts writes in The Nature of Personal Reality, “You are given the gifts of the gods; you create your reality according to your beliefs. Yours is the creative energy that makes your world. There are no limitations to the self except those you believe in.”
To be a creator is a function of our free will. We are all co-creators of our shared, physical reality and we shape our own destiny in every single moment of our lives. What you think, feel, believe, wish for, and desire in this very moment, is what you will become tomorrow, and the day after. Continue reading
