Winter May Come, But Spring Will Always Follow
The delicate African Violets on my window sill are beautiful this season. The window is the best place for them, as each one soaks up the sunlight from the East. The Sun smiles on them this morning.
The key thing with violets that many people don’t realize is that we hurt them the most by over-watering. Water is a good thing for plants, right? Violets, however, are native to the tropics where heat, sun, and a dry atmosphere is more prevalent.
The unique needs of these violets teaches us how to follow our own path. This is the true beauty of nature. See, each of us is different. When we look around us, we can’t follow someone else’s path, or be jealous, or worried that the path they are following is different from our own. Continue reading
The First Chakra
Chakra literally means “wheel” or “circle of light.”
The first chakra, or Muladhara, is located in the coccygeal region at the base of the spine where we sit. It is symbolized by a four petaled red lotus flower.
The animal totem of the first chakra is the elephant. The musical note that resonates with this chakra is C. It is considered the root chakra.
The color of the root chakra is red. It rules the feet, legs, anus, hips, bowels and bladder.
Foods to stimulate the first chakra include beets, strawberries, raspberries, cherries.

Text Messages From God – Part 1
I love to meditate, I do it often. It’s one of my favorite pass times. I also like to set an intention before meditating. This afternoon my intention was to get a ‘text message’ from God, or rather an answer from God to a certain question.
My intention was to find out why Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is on the increase in our society. It’s uncanny. These day I’m even hearing how teachers are being diagnosed with ADD, as well adults from all walks of life. I wanted to know why there seems to be such a prevalence of this disorder going on, including an array of prescription drugs to medicate it with. It just makes me sad, because I personally feel it’s a symptom of our toxic, information-overloaded society. Continue reading
The Disappointed Jesus In London
To be fair, I did not visit to the city of London solely for esoteric purposes, but I found the energy signature quite different and stark there, compared to Athens and Berlin.
I found the atmosphere in Berlin, for example, electric, yet peaceful. Stepping off the U-Bahn at Wittenberg Platz in the middle of the high season, I was engulfed by a comforting low-level hum of German families and tourists doing their Saturday afternoon window shopping. The people here did not seem to have a care in the world. The streets were crowded , much like that of London, but not once did I feel a sense of angst or claustrophobia. The warm buzz was actually quite welcoming and pleasant… and this is major coming from a highly strung empath like myself.
Berlin woke me up on a Sunday morning with the nostalgic chiming of church bells. I was staying inside one of the surviving wings of the Neues Schauspielhaus on Nollendorf Platz, in the Schöneberg district of Berlin. It was built in 1905 as a theatre and concert hall, in the then fashionable Art Nouveau style. Maybe Bertold Brecht was there in the 1920s, discussing his plays with someone in the very room I slept in that night, or maybe the bands Depeche Mode or The Human League used it as a dressing room in the 1980s. While those bells were ringing in the distance, I almost expected Christopher Isherwood’s character Sally Bowles to sneak down the corridor of this old building, back from a busy, decadent night’s work at the Kit Kat Club cabaret. All’s Well That Ends Well
Psychic reading clients need to understand that at times psychics can be off on the timing, when a client asks for a date during a reading. It has happened many times that I would predict a date or offer a timeline that only came to pass a while later, or even sooner.
I know it is hard on the client sometimes, because they want that person to come back soon, or they want a problem that is causing them anxiety to be resolved. I always try my best to give an accurate date when a client asks for it. But time frames are hard to read and seldom exact. In some of my previous blogs I wrote about fake psychics wanting to get their hands on your hard-earned money. Well, this time I want to warn you about another kind of psychic scam – fake psychics who are not only after your money, but who are also energy vampires. Yes, the main aim of this species of troll is to make you feel bad, upset you emotionally or send you into a state of depression… and then make you pay for it with cash.
Recently, I had a client who called me about a man that she really cares about. She had first gone to a ‘psychic reader’ who works close to her hometown. This ‘psychic’ told her some really nasty stuff that upset her tremendously, it sent her into an emotional tailspin. Patience Is The Key To Building Bridges
New relationships are not easy. Building that bridge between yourself and another person might get confusing, because of the past. When two people meet for the first time it can be very exciting for them both, and they will most likely have that ‘glow’ that is so bright around them. You can usually see a change both of them.
But as time goes by, it sometimes happens that one person begins to pull away, or pushes the other person away, because of their fears. They become anxious that what had happened to them in the past, might happen to them today. False hopes and broken promises are part of the baggage most of us carry into new relationships.
