Context, Context, Context
In the sales and marketing field they often talk of ‘location, location, location’ (no matter how good your product or service is, how successful you are often comes down to location). Perhaps in our communication with others we should think of context, context, and context?
We have entered a period of time in the world that communication is misconstrued, even fake and has more opportunities to be interpreted as confrontational, biased, and not politically correct. On top of that put an individual’s personal style of communication – introvert, extrovert, analytical, emotional subjective and all the other styles, and the matter becomes more thorny.
Then, add even another layer, such as email and social media, which does not involve the other person being face-to-face. Now communication becomes even more complex, because body language and the human expression energetically is not a resource available to us to can pick up on the subtle options for interpretation. Set Your Intentions For The Highest Good
A message I just received from a friend and colleague, prompted me to write this blog. In a previous message to her, I had mentioned how my partner and I hadn’t quite nailed our niche place to settle, even after a major cross continent move over two years ago. She replied that over the past two years she has come to the conclusion that, despite her deep spiritual beliefs, the world has gone crazy. She is battling to find a reason why she is here, after all of her struggles and heartache.
So many spiritual teachings, including those found in A Course In Miracles, speak of how everything is just an illusion. How do we know what is real? How often have we have stopped to consider this? Being exposed to so much of what is going on around us, not just locally, but globally through social and other media, makes us question all the more. Angels Nearby
Ever felt a reassuring hand on your shoulder, heard your name whispered, or experienced a deep sense of love and warmth, only to turn around and see no one? That’s unmistakably the sign that an angel is nearby. Our protective angels let us know they are there… if we take the time to look.
Our angelic guardians, who see all the things we do not, want us to notice the beauty around us! Take a moment away from work, put away the electronic devices, and really observe…there is so much you probably never saw before.
One of the first and most obvious places to look is the skies. Clouds, to be specific. Finding shapes like wings, hearts, or halos in the otherwise random cloud formations is a sure sign of angelic presence. Animal shapes might appear too – some angels walk on four legs! Continue reading
Forgiveness – A Message From My Guides
Ah, forgiveness! Such a misunderstood word. Many people assume that, although it sounds noble to forgive someone, forgiveness is often impossible. They feel that certain sins are so severe that the transgressor doesn’t deserve any forgiveness at all.
Also, there is a pervasive feeling that if you forgive someone, you are somehow excusing their infractions. Do not be confused. Whether you are forgiving someone who has hurt your feelings, stolen from you or caused you bodily harm, the reasoning is the same.
You are not letting the transgressor off the hook, or turning a blind eye to the wrong that was done to you. You are not condoning said transgression or justifying it in any way. Nor are you giving the wrong-doer a free pass to re-offend, or making an exception for him or her. Continue reading
Daydream Love And Abundance Into Your Life
Have you come to a point in your life where you know that you no longer intend to settle for the way things are in your life? Or are you ready to consider that, perhaps, you actually allowed yourself to accept a less than ideal relationship, or situation? Then, as we head towards a new year, maybe it’s high time for ‘out with the old, and in with the new.’
So often my customers say, “It’s just my luck, I should have known I’d be used again.” Or they believe they will always attract the unavailable ones, the cheaters, or those with addiction problems. When a person’s subconscious is being fed statements such as these, they are taken on board as gospel by our subconscious mind. The Lightbringers And Earth Angels
Some people are highly attuned to their emotions, feel out of place in the modern world, and feel called to make a difference during their lifetime. Appropriately, some of these special souls are called Earth Angels or, alternately, Lightbringers.
We are surrounded these days by greed, selfishness, discrimination, and the many other symptoms of a world out of balance. It is said that it is the purpose of the Lightbringers to restore the harmonies that originally existed.
How do we recognize them? They are all sensitive and empathic types. They literally feel much more than the average person, and take everything to heart. It may be necessary for them to have more quiet or alone time for this reason. Continue reading
How To Conduct A Séance
When I facilitate a séance, it is to give the sitters opportunity to communicate with departed spirits that have crossed over to the other side, which the spirits like to call ‘home.’ Spirits often like to call the day they left the earth plain their ‘birthday’ going back home. Death is the beginning of their life in the other side, as some people like to call it. Matter cannot be destroyed it just changes form.
A séance is group session aimed at communicating with spirits. The word séance comes from the French word for seat, session or setting (from the old French seoir, which means to sit).
There are usually three to twelve people in the séance. I prefer six to eight, and if possible a mix of female and male energy. When people come to my space for a séance I have a nice round wooden pedestal table. Lighting is a personal preference. Some mediums like very little light, some like a red light, because they believe it is easier to see spirit in red light. I personally feel spirit can communicate in any kind of lighting.
