We are in a time where the human activity of assigning blame is more public and becoming a common habit for the individual, as well as the collective. Have you noticed? Hands up if you participate in the Blame Game!
This is no judgment. What, no hand up? Is that because you don’t or is it a half-hearted admittance to participating, depending on the situation?
Whichever category above you chose to place yourself in, remember the propensity for assigning blame is natural. We may blame our boss for the unnecessary challenges at work. And we may blame the government for our household budget not making ends meet, due to too much tax. There are instances where there is a valid and specific rationale for blame. I have known it in the devoted spiritual practices and manifesting projects of my clients. I have observed it in the heroic metaphysical endeavors and healing miracles of my colleagues. Freedom Of Thought
We can only evolve our awareness and experience of life through free thinking. Without it no advancement can be made in any field of thought. We would simply be stuck in the previous set of ideals and ideologies and perpetuating the experiences of the past. When we stay in these mindsets we give our power away to the past.
Albert Einstein once said, “Problems cannot be solved by the level of awareness that created them.” It is our freedom of thought that allows us to expand not only on the level of thought, but on the level of form as well.
I believe we live in an infinite universe that is constantly expanding. This is true cosmologically, but also experientially as human thought and consciousness progresses. Form is simply a result of this expansion. Continue reading
Natural Law
Natural Law is a term that is used for so many different descriptions and is actually ambiguous. It can be the law of nature; a philosophical law related to ethics and morality, or many other laws where rules are applied.
Greek philosophers, such as Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, specifically distinguished between the law of the land and the law of nature. The law of the land was specific to the cities, districts and government whereas the Law of Nature is the same everywhere.
In physics one might even say that the Law of Gravity is a Natural Law, as it exists everywhere on the planet and throughout time. Technology has advanced such that we are able to influence gravity, yet we have not changed the inherent Law of Gravity. Continue reading
2017 Is A New Beginning
So many things happened in 2016 on a global scale that influenced the global conversation. This makes a lot of sense when you consider the Numerological implications of the year 2016.
Last year was governed by the number 9.
2+0+1+6=9
There are other year formats in many countries, but for the Western world, the numerological influence of 9 was certainly present. The number nine is ultimately a good number. It is associated with the beginning phases of manifestation, where thoughts become form, as seen in the tradition of the Tarot. It is the consciousness we need to become creators on a personal level, as well as on a global scale.
In 2016 the global conversation and consciousness has changed slightly because of this 9 influence. There were changes politically and socially that have caused many people to take a second look at their own lives and their contributions to our society. Continue reading
We Need A Critical Mass Of Love And Kindness!
In the 1950’s, Japanese researchers were studying a group of monkeys located on several Japanese islands. The scientists would regularly drop food onto the beaches for the monkeys.
One day, a female monkey picked up a sweet potato and washed the sand and dirt off in a nearby stream. Soon after, the mother of the juvenile monkey was also washing her sweet potatoes in the stream. In this unusual case it was a youngster had taught an adult and not the other way around, as is more commonly observed.
Over the course of the next five years, one by one, several of the other monkeys of the group also picked up the habit of washing off their sweet potatoes. The exact number is unclear, but something amazing is said to have happened – as if overnight, all of the monkeys were washing their potatoes in streams, and in the sea.
