Lost In A Dream
Even if we don’t always recall our dreams, we do have them every night. These are encoded messages from the most honored area, the higher self. There is no negative impact connected to this particular source of information. It is simply an individual guidance system that can help lead us into successful areas, or steer us away from potential danger zones. Once we acknowledge that we react from our thoughts and emotions, and understand what the end results are, we are then able to assist our own motives and create a change in the course we have set out for ourselves.
Dream interpreters can potentially evaluate, analyze and understand what all the signs, symbols, colors, and so on, may mean for us, pertaining to how we are conducting our daily lives. Dreams can hold a wealth of any type of information.
For example, the inventor of the Singer sewing machine struggled for weeks and months to devise a method of sewing with a needle that would expedite the sewing experience allowing it to become simple and interesting for the sewer. After many trials and errors he finally saw in his dream state how an eye could be implemented into the needle, thus changing the course of sewing forever.
I have an exceptional friend who is somewhat unusual in her dream patterns. She is not a dream interpreter by any means, and her dreams are exclusively from the Greater World, that relate only to us living in this earthly Outer World. Her renowned source will share information in any way that will explain to us more on an individual basis what is happening to us, while we are living in this remote realty. The following scene was shown to her in a dream, and even though you may think it is about her, it is actually really about us.
A dream is a microscope through which we look at the hidden occurrences in our soul ~ Erich Fromm
She was out shopping in a large complex. Even though she was not blind, she was using a white cane, which she was totally dependent on in this dream. Somewhere along the way, she lost her cane, and immediately became confused, disoriented and extremely anxious. She then came to a set of stairs, however, the bottom step was quite a distance from the one just above it.
Now, she had no cane for support, there were no railings to hang on to, and no one appeared in her vicinity that she could call on for help. Her anxiety was becoming acute and she was going into full blown panic mode. Finally two young men came by and assisted her to the next step.
Further along, she became aware that although she was in an area where there was a profusion of people, it seemed as though every human being present was not paying any attention to their fellow counterparts. Each person was fully focused only on the purchases they were about to make and had no time to give to any others.
To add to this total feeling of chaos, she realized she had lost her cane and with all the mad energy going on around her, there was no way she could have any hope of recovering it. She was literally spinning in circles trying to find her way out of this mindless confusion. She had absolutely no idea as to where she was, and consequently could not find her way home. She then thought she could call her husband to help her find her way back, but quickly realized she had no phone.
This is where her story ends. If you have ever thought you have a gift regarding dream interpretation, or felt you could decipher perhaps very basic and simple codes, this should be an easy one for you.
Dreams are excursions into the limbo of things, a semi-deliverance from the human prison ~ Henri Amiel
The knowing from the place of profound knowledge and understanding is trying to tell us with this dream sequence that we are completely lost. We depend on items that have no value to us and are completely unnecessary. Our main focus appears to be on accumulating more – so much so that we are not only losing our own compass, but are neglecting the plight of others that might need our help. We are becoming less inclined to attach what is spiritually necessary for our well-being. And the worst part is that we are losing our most valuable source of communication and guidance, namely the higher self.
This particular dream was not intended to scold us, or make us feel badly about ourselves, but perhaps to give us our own wake-up call. There is nothing wrong with buying nice things for ourselves, or beautifying the area in which we live, but we must not give it so much credence that we are neglecting the true and spiritual part of ourselves.
