Understanding The Soulmate Connection
I have been doing love and relationship psychic readings for over 15 years, and I am often surprised at the misunderstanding many of my clients have of soulmate relationships. Our cultural myths and urban legends, whether they are found in books, television, or movies, often provide only a fragmented, romanticized version of the true soulmate journey. It is important not to project these notions of reality onto our partners, because these ‘ideals’ can often create unnecessary challenges in our romantic lives.
Mostly people agree that soulmate relationships are meant to be substantially fulfilling. However, fulfillment is only one of many characteristics of a soulmate connection. The Necessity Of Grief
As a psychic medium one learns a lot about grief. There are many different kinds of grief, and it’s not all about death and dying. We grieve many different things in life.
I often hear my clients describe their grief as “my heart has a hole in it” or “my heart has been ripped apart.” When we grieve it does feel as if our heart will never heal. It’s like your physical body is having an actual heart attack.
What each grieving individual experiences is different. Grief has so many different forms and it is impossible to know how it will affect each individual person. We each grieve in our own way.
There is also no time-frame on grief. The length of time a person may grieve is very individual some people may start to feel a little better seven to ten weeks. For others it may be years. Continue reading
To Share, Or To Be Silent – Part 1
Sharing too much information with any person who isn’t ready for it, can be totally disastrous! I know this all too well; being a psychic, medium, healer, seer, it can be so frustrating sometimes. If you have the gift to see, feel and hear, I’m sure know exactly what I’m talking about.
You have the best of intentions, but sometimes those great intentions, advise, insight, or whatever valuable information you need to share to help, heal or repair, isn’t always met with gratitude, or much belief for that matter. Sometimes it takes years for those that you have helped and shared things with to see how right you really were all along. Compare And Despair
Recently, I attended a Toastmasters meeting where a gentleman was delivering his first speech to this specific group – an ice breaker to have us get acquainted with him. Instead of the typical short autobiographical introduction this speaker chose to give us an overview of his philosophy of life.
He told his audience that he sees himself entering a new phase of his life right now. He spoke about how important it is to get to know yourself and to take care of yourself first and foremost, and to always live in the moment.
After the speech and applause, the toastmaster reflected briefly on what the talk meant to him as he had listened. He said it reminded him of a mentor who had once, many years ago, said to him, “Compare… and despair”. If in life you are constantly comparing yourself to others, or comparing what you have with what others have, or what you feel you lack, or need to achieve, then all that will do is bring yourself unnecessary despair. Use Your Intuition For Safer Online Dating
The recent gruesome death of Ingrid Lyne in Seattle has attracted much attention from single women and generated renewed awareness of the potential risks of online dating. However, I still think online dating is one of the best ways to meet someone special, especially for those people whose circumstances do not allow them to interact with other single people on a daily basis.
According to the Pew Research Center around 5% of Americans who are in a marriage or committed relationship say they met their significant other online. A study by the National Academy of Sciences found that more than one third of marriages in the USA begin with online dating, and those couples seem to be slightly happier than couples who meet through other means. Match.com reports that only 9% of women and 2% of men say they have found a relationship at a club or bar. The universe is clearly using the Internet to bring people together! Continue reading
False Education Appearing Real
I love the acronym F.E.A.R. (False Education Appearing Real) since we all have people, circumstances, phobias and so forth, that can put us into that space. Fear is an instance of emotion that is triggered by the awareness, or anticipation of danger. It can also become a state of being. Excluding clinical fears, needing professional help, there are many fears we simply impose upon ourselves as a result of life experiences.
One of my fears is acrophobia, the fear of heights. When I get within five feet from the edge of a rooftop, I begin to shake. Climbing 30 foot ladders has me nervous and when I hiked to the pinnacle of the mountain of Macchu Picchu in 2004, I could not take those last six nervous steps onto the plateau pinnacle rock. This was partly being due to a few other tourists already sharing the rock… and I am a little “accident prone.” Continue reading
Gemini – Two For The Price Of One!
The glyph for those born under a Gemini Sun, between May 21 and June 21, is the Roman numeral for the number 2. The Twins. Like their symbol, Gemini tends to have more than one side to their personality. They may have a public persona, and an entirely different private side seen only by their closest friends and confidantes.
Many Geminis are excellent communicators and love to talk. This comes as no surprise, since their planetary ruler is Mercury, the messenger.
