As a Tarot reader through many seasons, I have seen for myself where interpretation, listening to instinct and understanding the true meaning behind the cards makes for a better and more rounded reading. But perhaps the Tarot in and of itself will want to play tricks on you. This too I have seen many times!
People tend to misunderstand the Tarot, its meaning, and more importantly, its true purpose. It was never intended as a fortune telling tool per se. It can only be through careful study and a willingness to open one’s mind and heart, that reading the Tarot can be truly successfully mastered. Yes, even to the point of predicting time frames – something clients love, of course, but which can be very tricky to predict. The Responsibility Of Psychic Service
Recent psychic readings, and the sort of questions clients have been asking, have made me all the more aware of the responsibility of the work we do. A few words alone, a recommended path to follow, or a suggested course of action we advise, can have a huge impact on people’s lives.
When I find myself feeling hopeless at the plight of the world, and its people and animals, I always remind myself: if I can just make a difference to the life of one person or animal today, then it’s all worth it.

Automatic Spirit Writing
Many mediums and psychics make us of some form of automatic writing or psychography. Automatic writing is a form of channeling that helps psychics, mediums and healers to step outside of themselves and disconnect from their own feeling and thinking patterns, and receive spiritual messages.
I believe that all great works of music, complete books, and other forms of art, are all inspired by spirit in a similar way. Yes, not only do we receive answers to pressing questions, or receive spiritual insights through some form of channeling, but also significant art works, or even poetry come to us in this way.
Originally automatic writing was done using a planchette with a pencil and two wheels. The text a planchette produces can be tricky to decipher, and so a pen or pencil and paper became the preferred method. No Birth Date Needed, I’m Psychic!
When I do psychic readings by phone, clients sometimes ask if they should give me their birth date. But I don’t need to know their birthday to know anything about them, because I am able to uncover information using my psychic abilities.
Firstly, I often ‘feel energy’ moments before my client even calls. I begin to sense how they may be feeling seconds before the phone rings. I am clairsentient (empathic) and I feel negative or positive energy around people. I have an ability to sense if the person has toxic people around them, who are energetically draining them. I can feel what is hindering them. I would then share ways how they can get rid of any dis-ease, or toxic and energetically draining energy from their lives. Continue reading
Strange Things In Strange Places
There are many places around the globe that often, for seemingly unexplained reasons, appear to have an amazing energy draw. One such township is in the beautiful setting of Fort Langley in British Columbia, Canada. People have been coming to this small area for many years and may be at a loss to explain why exactly they are compelled to visit this area time after time.
Aside from the fact there a number of antique shops and quaint stores in Fort Langley, there is also an air about the town that almost suggests a magic and a connection with times past, but not entirely forgotten. The town boasts many older Victorian homes and situated right on the main strip stands a majestic library that forces one’s eyes to be drawn in that direction as a matter of course. It’s Good To Get A Second Opinion!
I can’t speak for other psychic readers, or what they may do when it comes to this practice, but I personally encourage my clients to get a reading from a fresh set of eyes – someone with a new perspective on their situation that I may not be seeing. Want to see another reader? By all means!
Do we as readers get too close to our closest clientele? Can this affect our readings? I’d like not to think so. In some client cases I know both parties involved, I may even have done counseling for them. I’d like to think I keep a very objective outlook and that I’m able to see past any emotions and any triggers that may come up in the process of a psychic reading or counseling session. Candle Divination
Certain rituals or daily actions can sometimes trigger a powerful memory. This just occurred as I was lighting some candles in my work area. The lighting of the candles prompted me to look for some notes I had tucked away relating to the flame of a candle, because for some reason my lit candles seemed to be demanding my attention.
Reading the notes took me back to a psychic awareness event I attended many years ago. A colorful lady, who made and sold her beautiful candles, gave an engaging talk at this get-together. She was passionate about the symbolism of the movement of the candle flame. She reminded her audience that as spirit affects the atmosphere around us, with anything from a gentle breeze to an icy chill in the air, they often also communicate with us by influencing the flame of a candle.
