The Sun Will Rise Again

The world seems to be fighting against us. Just as soon as we get out of the bitterest cold winter of our lives, we are hit with extreme heats, tornadoes, storms. Thor, on his winged horse, has ridden through… angry, wild, crazed, keeping all of us on our toes.

In our lives, in our relationships, we have all sorts of weather as well. These ups and downs, the setbacks, the craziness of life and love sometimes make us feel that the Sun has left us forever. It seems as if even the clouds try to cover up its warmth, heat, its nurturing, smiling face. Yet, the Sun always rises to bring light to a new day.

The bright light of the sun shows all in truth, both the harsh and good. Although we can’t see him behind the tornado, behind the storm, he is there. Behind the darkening clouds that overshadow all the light, that trouble the skies with lightening, thunder, and rain, the Sun remains like the Most High Spirit of Light. He is still there.

We are not being punished when the storms come. All the junk, all the chaos, all the trash is merely being brought out to meet the light… so we stay on our toes. After each storm we can appreciate and be thrilled when the good times come. We have learned to trust the gods, the spirit. We have learned to not take for granted the Sun. There is no such thing as false hope, as each new day comes, we know for sure that no matter what, the light will always be there.

There is a message in the winds blowing clean fresh new air, with the dew on the green grass of the lawn. There are messages in everything, if we just look to find the answers to our problems. Yet, we refuse too often to see the beauty that the universe offers us.

The messages do not always come as we would demand: clear cut, straight out. We look for impossible signs, so that we can test the messenger, test the gods, to see if there is something to believe in, to give our faith, our hope to. We demand to know that the Universe is deserving of our love. We wonder that life is not falling into place the way we insist it should. We blame everyone, everything else, when we ourselves, have no boundaries, no rules.

We get angry, be rude, take no thought of others, yet do not understand when others do not fall into place, or why we allow someone to treat us a certain way. We look at the destruction of our lives, and wonder why.

We allow people to push us into situations we are not quite ready to accomplish. We set timelines, or allow others to set timelines on us, then get angry creating another negative wall when that person doesn’t fall in line. We get mad at those trying to help us, deciding the one who serves is a con, a fraud, a liar, when we aren’t looking at what spirit is trying to teach us.

The messenger only sees the visions, hears the messages, translates it as best as can be. But even the most wisest seer, the best prophet, highest spiritual master is not always privy to why spirit does things its own way. We lash out, then we have that karma against an innocent person who is giving messages of love to us. Those of us who would not think of yelling at the waitress or our doctor, think nothing of being rude to our spiritual adviser.

Spirit does create miracles, if we will listen to the messenger. Please let the lovely Sun come back to overcome the darkness in your life.
