Helping A Young Psychic Develop
A young person with a psychic gift must be recognized early on, and nurtured in their development. If not, they may experience a lot of confusion and even trauma. Their gift must be seen and experienced as a blessing, not a curse.
My niece Rachel was one of the more fortunate. She clearly had a gift from a very tender age. When she was a little girl I would give my brother and sister in-law some time off by babysitting Rachel and her older sister. Every time I would go over to their house to watch the kids, Rachel didn’t want me to read her normal children books. She would grab the family photo album and look specifically at old pictures of deceased family members. Discovering Prophetic Dreams At A Young Age
I have had many interesting dream experiences over the years and have witnessed how they often do reflect what is yet to come. I discovered this powerful prophetic nature of our dreams at a very young age.
One of the most memorable dreams from my childhood years involved a tornado. In this recurring dream I could hear the tornado sirens going off and I kept seeing an odd image of a piece of straw that went into a telephone. I kept seeing the time being 4:23 pm and I when I woke up, I knew that something was bad was going to happen. Every time I had the dream the tornadoes would get louder and louder.
Later, in April 1974, I was over my at my grandparents house when the tornado sirens went off. I was 12 years old and I started to freak out, because of those dreams I had been having. My Amazing First Experience With Psychometry
Several years ago, during a psychic awareness workshop at the Arthur Findlay College of Psychic Research in the UK, I had a profound experience with ribbon psychometry.
Exercises with psychometry are often done in groups of two, in which the participants exchange small personal items. Psychometry is the art of reading the energy imprints on objects. The objects can vary: photographs, jewelry or even a key-ring. These and other tokens must have meaning to, and has been handled primarily by their owner. The main objective is that the item carries the vibration of its owner.
Our class of ten was made up of men and women from all over the world, as well as a few from Britain. We were all new to the concept of reading with ribbons. Continue reading
Do You Drink The Water?
For as long as I can remember, I have absolutely hated the taste of water from the faucet. I’ve been saying for years, that I can taste the chemicals in it. So many of my friends and family have laughed at me, telling me I am crazy.
The taste and smell of water that comes out of my kitchen faucet, repulses me to the point that I refuse to drink it. I have found myself in the hospital for dehydration more times than I care to admit.
So, I began wondering… what chemicals are used to treat the water that we drink? Well, I found that it’s not so much the chemicals to clean the water that may be the problem. It is the fluoride that is added to our water. Continue reading
The Psychic Well
The Psychic Well is where I go, or where I am sent to, every time I do a reading. I also go there when I do Reiki, when I write an article, or when I write a poem. The Psychic Well runs deeper than you may ever believe, and I include myself in that concept, because of what happens each time I go there.
As a Tarot card reader using Numerology, Astrology, auras and deep intuition, there are always days you don’t think you have any wisdom left to share. You feel as if you have no more empathy with which to feel another’s pain, because just as with any profession, you can suffer burnout.
Psychic burnout can be crippling for a healer, psychic reader or spiritualist medium. You can become almost paralyzed by it. You want to work, because it’s what you are meant to do. You want to write, because that’s all you know how to do. But you are unable to do either. The Psychic Well beckons you, but you have no energy to make it there. Continue reading
The Psychic Sense Of Smell
Did you know that someone who passed on can communicate with us using our sense of smell. I have heard of people smelling cigars and flowers, or even peppermint sticks.
I experienced this phenomenon myself on the Bicentennial weekend of July 4th, 1976. My grandfather who passed years before always smoked those little cigars that had a sweet smell, and when he came over and spend the weekend he would smoke them. And the same with my father; he was also a cigar smoker. I can remember that smell like it was yesterday, but oddly the smell would not have the same flavor as my grandfather’s cigar smoke. We always knew when my dad had lit a cigar, because it would give off that one specific smell. Continue reading
Psychic Connections
Some days, as a psychic reader, I want to just curl up in a ball and hide from the world. These are the days when nobody sees me and I stay in bed watching Charmed all day long. Sometimes for days on end. It helps me believe in magic again and helps me to recharge my psychic batteries. Other days I am on top of the world and psychically ready to take on anything!
It comes down to filters, really, and how much the professional psychic takes in every day. When I was a young reader, just starting out, I took everything to heart. So many times I would go outside, after a particularly difficult reading, and just cry my eyes out. One such time, an older reader came up to me and said, “you have to learn to let this all go through you, or you won’t last very long in.” And she had been reading at that time for 25 years, whereas I was just starting out.
