The Lessons Your Soul Came Here To Learn
There are moments in life when everything familiar begins to feel uncertain or different.
The roles we once identified with no longer fit, the goals we worked toward feel strangely hollow, and an unshakable question begins to surface: What is the deeper meaning of all this?
It is often in these quiet, uncomfortable spaces that we begin to sense there is more to our experiences than meets the eye.
What if your life is not random? What if even your most difficult chapters are not meaningless detours, but part of a deeper unfolding? What if the challenges we face are meant to be and part of something far more intentional? What if your life is unfolding as a kind of soul curriculum, designed for growth, awareness, and transformation?
To see your life as a soul curriculum is not to pretend that pain is pleasant or that every hardship is easy to understand. It is simply to consider that your experiences may be shaping you in ways the mind cannot always immediately grasp. It is to look at your life with greater reverence, greater curiosity, and greater compassion.
This is where a more soul-centered approach can offer support. Rather than looking only at surface problems, it invites you to explore the deeper meaning behind your experiences. It recognises that the mind, body, and spirit are deeply interconnected, and that when one area of life is out of balance, the others are often affected too.
Begin Every Day With An Attitude of Gratitude
I find that people who don’t appreciate what they have, often have their gifts and blessings challenged, or even lose it. And obsessing about what we don’t have can lead to depression and anxiety. It certainly does not help you to attract more into your life.
So, consider shifting from thinking about what you don’t have, and what you want and goals, and instead try an ‘attitude of gratitude.’ This is a dramatic shift.
Changing from thinking about what we don’t have to instead feeling grateful for what we do have, what we have been given, and what we have already achieved, changes what we attract.
This shift in thinking does not mean you can’t have goals, it just means you don’t feel an emptiness associated with those goals.
Nothing is missing. There is just more to be gained. You already have the sundae… it doesn’t need that cherry on top. A cherry would just be a nice bonus!
I’ve seen people become so obsessed with a timeline for getting married, for example, that they soon did get married… but to the wrong person!
The universe knows your true destiny. It knows what you need and when. Try to be patient and trust the flow.
Putting 90% of your focus on feeling grateful for what you do have and 10% on what you would still like to obtain, will completely change your outlook on life, as well as your physical and emotional health.
Finding Your Unique Soul Path And Purpose
Sometimes life on the Earth plane seems overly difficult, or perhaps even futile. Depending on where you are in life, what you have achieved and how satisfied you are with the outcomes, these thoughts can be dreary indeed.
Take heart. There is no magic timeline within which you must accomplish great and wonderful things to impress others. You are at liberty to structure your life in a myriad of ways, in the time frame that suits you best.
Take the opportunity to reframe your criteria for success. There are unlimited possibilities when it comes to realizing your ultimate purpose in life. Each person is unique. No two paths are the same. Your journeys, therefore, will not be identical.
Give yourself permission to contemplate your life’s purpose. Allow yourself the latitude to try different ideas before making a lofty commitment. Do not judge yourself harshly for not taking action yet.
Be willing to try a different avenue that better suits your temperament or talents. In general, the end goal can be achieved in many different ways by taking different routes to get there
Avoid comparisons that cause distress. Being inspired by an accomplished master can be wonderful, however, you do not need to pattern your efforts after those of another.
Psychic Predictions And Divine Timing
During a psychic reading it is perfectly natural for the question to arise, “When will this happen?” Our minds are trained or geared toward planning, strategizing, and looking for patterns. Asking ‘when’ supports our goals to ensure progress in the hopes of achievement.
Our penchant for wanting to know, or at least estimate, when something will occur stems back to ancient times, when our ancestors relied upon the movement of the planets and changing seasons for planting seeds, harvesting crops, and so on. It was vital to plan when things will be most likely happen.
In our everyday human life there are schedules we adhere to and time is dictated by clocks and time zones. However, in the realm of Spirit, the truth is, there is no such thing as time. What if all clocks were obliterated and we had no more calendars saying which day of the week it was? Some metaphysicians believe that people made up what we refer to as time and dates as a means to measure progress and spiritual growth of our species.
True psychics are able to see into the future of probable outcomes for their clients, to help them make choices that will support a specific outcome. These predictions come from the world of Spirit, as well as everyday life on Earth.
Remember, in the world of Spirit there is no such thing as time. When a psychic is shown a particular event during a reading, a number of factors can change or determine the timing of when something will occur.
The Enigma Of Your Soul Contract
Before we come into this lifetime, we design a soul contract. We choose a family that we want to be born to and we plan specific things that we want to accomplish, such as career, relationships, children, and so on. The contract is about our spiritual self and therefore also includes those things that we need to overcome and learn from.
Some of the more important things in your contract may come as a surprise, because often they are those things you do not want to do! This is usually a sure way of knowing that something is contractual. The things we prefer to do, or have done, we’ve already mastered, but the challenges and obstacles offer us opportunity to overcome our fears and anxieties, to step forward and learn more, to grow spiritually.
Some contracts are also much longer than others. Some of us remain here for a long time, while others do not. I doubt anyone knows for sure, but for the time that we are here, we must make every effort to learn and grow from every life experience.
This is also why some of us attract the wrong people, and constantly get into the wrong relationships? In these cases it is often your soul contract trying to teach you to speak up for yourself and claim your self-worth.
When old souls come in, usually nothing bothers them. They tend to take things with a grain of salt. However, when new souls come in, they are often very excited about so many things and can’t seem to get enough done.
There are also the creative souls, who are very talented, but also have a lot of emotional stress. Part of their contract is to learn to manage their stress better, so that they can be more open to their creative gifts. Continue reading
Do Our Loved Ones Become Our Spirit Guides?
While doing mediumship readings, I often have people ask me if their loved ones who have crossed over are now their spirit guides. The answer is, no. While our loved ones, who have crossed over, do watch over us, and communicate with us through dreams and other means, they are not our spirit guides.
Becoming a spirit guide requires many life times of experience, schooling and training. Our loved ones can give us energy, love and light, but they are not allowed to interfere with our destiny in any way.
So, what is the difference between spirit guides and loved ones who have crossed over?
Spirit guides are with us before we choose our life. They help us decide what goals we have and what we want to emphasize and work on in the next life. They remind us of the lessons in life we struggle with every life.
Our guides also remind us of the lessons we have avoided signing up for in our past lives. Have you taken on disability? Poverty? Wealth? Abuse? Fame? What adversities have you overcome and which ones will you need to take on?
Often we feel we are being punished by these adversities when on earth, when in reality, we decide to take them on and gain the strength, compassion, empathy and wisdom they teach us.
Every soul will need to take on the mirror images of every human experience. Poverty and wealth. Sickness and health. Justice and injustice. Power and powerlessness. Freedom and restraint. These aren’t punishments.
Why This Rune Reader ‘Reverse Plans’ Her Day
If you’d asked me a few years ago how I welcomed a new day, I would’ve rattled off a checklist: what needs to be done, what must be scheduled, what’s urgent and what’s not. I thought a structure schedule and curated life was strength. I believed that manifesting my future meant controlling it before it even arrived.
But somewhere along my spiritual path, I began to dance to a different rhythm. It was a kind of sacred tempo that doesn’t rush or demand. That doesn’t forecast before it senses and feels.
Today, I want to share that magical alternative rhythm with you. I call it reverse planning. It’s not a rigid system, but an invitation to trust time the way a rune whispers its truth.
Our modern culture tends to treat calendars like hammers. We use them to nail down the future with agendas, meetings, goals, and deadlines. On paper, life appears orderly, efficient, and decided. But for many of us, that creates a low-level anxiety that’s hard to name.
We wake up already carrying the weight of what hasn’t even happened yet. The day feels predetermined before we’ve had a chance to participate in it.
As someone who reads runes, symbols that speak across the ancient thresholds of time, I’ve come to believe that true guidance rarely comes in the form of a command. Instead, it arrives quietly, in the pauses, in the spaces between breaths. That’s where reverse planning begins: with presence, not pressure.
