I am often asked if I believe in reincarnation and clients sometimes want to know about their past lives. I was not always sure until I had a very vivid dream one night. I often receive answers in this way.
In this dream I felt like I was floating and searching. It seemed like I was hitting many areas of the world. I was looking for someone. But for who, or what? How could this make any sense?
I even heard my name, Raymond, in this dream. I recognized my mom’s voice. I also heard someone talking to me as if to guide me, but the voice sounded like I was under water and I could not follow the language. Read the rest of this entry »
Psychic readings can provide insight into the motivation, thoughts and behavior of the people in our life. For this reason many readings look into relationships. We ask many questions. Why hasn’t he called? When will he call? Is she thinking of me? Will we get back together? Will we get married?
In every situation, the answers to these questions play out differently. But there are reasons why the beloved doesn’t call, or doesn’t call frequently enough:
1. They are too busy. Then we think, “well, I would never be too busy to remember to call if I really liked the person.” I have experienced being too busy to call a loved one back. Yes, it is possible. In one recent instance, after two weeks of not returning a call, my friend called again to see if I was alright. Read the rest of this entry »
It’s difficult to watch someone make bad choices in their life. We want to step in and help them out, show them the way. While that may be well and good sometimes, God often has a different plan and we may be interfering with God’s work.
It’s important for us to remember that we all have our own cross to carry and life path to walk down. God wants us to focus on our own business. Our role on this earth is to be a guiding light, filled with love and forgiveness for ourselves and for others. Our place is not to judge, condemn or control. Sometimes our fears take us down that path. We are afraid that if we don’t step in and do something the situation will spiral out of control. Read the rest of this entry »
“The secret to smudging is in the smoke.” These were the words of my mentor when I undertook my Ukuthwasa as a shaman initiate many years ago in Southern Africa. I have also come to know that the true intention behind any smudging ceremony is a very significant part of its success.
An initial part of my rigorous training as a Sangoma, or traditional healer, was a self-cleansing ritual using Mphepo, made up of herbs indigenous to Southern Africa.
“Smudging,” simply put, is the burning of certain herbs to create a cleansing smoke bath. The smoke is used to cleanse areas used for rituals and ceremonies, as well as any tools or objects used for such cleansing, as well as to cleanse people. Read the rest of this entry »
Discouragement, failure, heartache. Poor Moses did not have it easy. He went daily to the throne of the Pharaoh to ask for the release of his people. His life hadn’t started out very well. His mother had to hide him in the bulrushes, so he wouldn’t be killed right after his birth.
Then he went to live in the princess’s house, and knowing he was different he often felt alone. Adopted by royalty, his biological mother and sister were still living as slaves in the fields. He wasn’t happy. He should have been in high spirits, because he had everything a young man could desire… except he knew he didn’t belong. Read the rest of this entry »
I have had clients tell me that they feel something is wrong with them, because they don’t like to be around people. They prefer solitude. Others feel disconnected when around people, or it makes them feel smothered. People make them feel drained, or they feel out of their element.
If you are someone that does not like to be around people, or feels a sense of disconnect when in large groups, or even just engaging with others, fear not! I have some very good news to share with you.
It is my hope and prayer that this information will help you to stop being so hard on yourself when it comes to your social preferences. You do not need to feel guilty for not wanting to slap on a “happy face” and pretend to be someone you are not. Read the rest of this entry »
I had a vivid, recurring dream starting about five years ago. There was this lady, I guess she was in her early 60’s, and she was standing in a hallway. She was looking at me very peacefully. It was a little weird, because it was not my mother or grandmother or someone I knew.
For many years I wondered who this lady might be. Eventually it stopped, I guess for about a year, but all of a sudden she was back in my dreams and this time she began to talk to me. She would ask if had seen her brother, John? Very odd indeed, since I have a brother named John. It made no sense.
Time went on and the dream grew more intense, until finally in the last dream I saw the back of a man, his hair was silver and he was kind of short. The mystery lady walked up to him and said: “John! I have missed you since I had passed.” Read the rest of this entry »
Being psychic is both a gift and a skill. The gift to receive psychic messages in the various ways they can manifest is not unlike being gifted to compose music or design architecture, or having a special talent for Olympic sports performance. People are born with many different gifts and abilities.
The skill to excel at interpreting psychic messages, on the other hand, has to be developed through years of practice. This is similar to practicing the skills and techniques required to be an excellent composer or architect, or training towards becoming an Olympic athlete.
Anyone can make up a melody, draw a picture of their dream house or swim in the local community pool. Similarly, anyone can have be intuitive or have a gut feeling about something that eventually comes true. Read the rest of this entry »
