Why Do Only Some Return In Spirit?
A few weeks ago, I was sitting in my usual chair, quietly reading a book, when I felt a soft pat on my hand. It did not feel in any way threatening or frightening. I could sense from the softness of the touch sensation, as well as the physical shape that was in my peripheral vision, that this certainly was a female presence. However, I could not decipher who it was at that time.
The next day, I received a message that it had been a visitation from my sister, Theresa, whom had recently passed on. I was so moved and honored that she came to me like this. How sweet and precious that moment was for me!
This experience led me to think about others that I had known in my lifetime. Some I loved deeply, while others I did not always care for as much… despite some of them being extremely prominent in my life.
My brother, Venard, who died a tragic death from drowning at the tender age of 12, had never left any of the remaining siblings for a moment… not until much, much later on in our lives. We all felt he had given us his solemn warmth and devotion, until he felt we were ready, even as middle-aged adults, to finally continue with life on our own.
The Ghost Who Warned Me
I moved into my first haunted house in 2005. I have communicated with beings from the other side since I was a child, but actually moving into a home where there was a spirit attachment, was a very different experience for me. I have also been in haunted houses before, but this time I was not able to just browse and leave – I was stuck in that house for a few months.
I was moving in with a family member, whom I knew had a lot of emotional issues, but who was also very sweet and wanting guidance and help from me. He was very attached to the house we were looking at renting. I told him right off the bat, “It’s haunted. Are you sure you want to move into a haunted house?” He asked me how I knew it was haunted, even though he knows I am psychic medium. I told him I could sense the presence. It wasn’t dark. It was male and it was associated directly with the house.
Despite all this, we moved in.
The night we moved in, I felt a presence hovering over me when I was sleeping… or should I say trying to sleep. The ghost said telepathically, “You brought darkness into my house. You need to get rid of it, or leave. I will help you get rid of it.” I was quite confused. I responded, “I am a light being. I’ve never caused harm to anyone. Why do you think I brought darkness here?” I did not get an answer.
Spirit Orbs Among Us
Orbs are among us. These balls of light sometimes show up in photographs and are believed to be ghostly entities, as they typically show up in cemeteries and haunted buildings. However, it has been my experience that an orb can show up anywhere, anytime…even in places one would never expect to see one.
I have been seeing orbs all my life, as far back as I can remember. Seeing orbs always gives me a feeling of loving spirit around me. It is my belief that spirit orbs are pure energy and love. They are consciousness.
Some orbs that appear in a photograph may be a speck of dust or insect. But not the ones I see. In fact, when some of those ‘speck of dust’ photos are enlarged, you can sometimes recognize a face in it. So, you may want to take another look at some of those orb photos.
Orbs often just float right by, suspended in the air. They may stop and be stationary for a few seconds, and then speed right away. Orbs come in all shapes and sizes in an array of colors. Just like people they are all unique. And what one person can see, another may not see.
Delivering Messages From The Afterlife
Is it true that the dearly departed can communicate with us through signs? Can you please give me a message of proof that my much loved friends, family or pets on the other side are okay?
These are some of the questions that psychic mediums receive when a caller longs for proof that the soul journey of their loved ones continues on the other side of the veil. From time to time callers also ask me if I believe in an afterlife. Well, I don’t just believe it exists – I know it does! My husband is known to have quite the opposite viewpoint. He says, ”When you’re dead, you’re dead.’ I have wondered if he maybe states this as some kind of a self-protection device? Because he has also had his share of ‘other-worldly’ experiences, including a couple of eerie visitations from spirit.
Trance, Transfiguration And Channeling
When an authentic psychic medium is doing a reading, they are entering into varying levels of trance, or altered states of consciousness, to access information from the Spirit realm. The Collins dictionary defines this as “a state of mind in which someone seems to be asleep and to have no conscious control over their thoughts or actions, but in which they can see and hear things and respond to commands given by other people.”
Each reader has their own process of making the connection and style of disseminating the information. Not only are psychic readers ‘seeing’ and ‘hearing’ things, and responding to commands from the Spirit side of life, but they are simultaneously also energetically connected with the client and walking between the two realms, namely that of the Spirit realm and the present moment.

Can you really sell your soul to the devil? I’ve heard this question asked and I’ve heard some ridiculous answers, often coming from those who claim to be experts on the subject. In truth, this question cannot be easily answered, as it is a complex matter. And, it seems as though many people do not want to hear the truth.
So, what happens when one makes a deal with the devil, so to speak? Let me begin by saying this is not a new concept. These types of pacts are believed to have been going on since before recorded history. One of the earliest tales of such a deal was in the 10th Century. Pope Sylvester II was rumored to have made an unearthly, dark pact. The same is alleged of famous violinists Giuseppe Tartini in the 17th Century, and Nicolo Paganini in the 18th Century.
The Joy Of Mediumship
People that know me call me the ‘Happy Medium,’ because I am usually very upbeat when I am bringing through their loved ones. I do feel always so happy to do readings and to share my gifts with those I read for. I love connecting with my clients loved ones on their behalf. It is always uplifting, because it confirms what I know to be true – there is an afterlife.
I got a call from one of my dear clients last week that told me that she was happy to connect with her mother, who came through in a reading after she did what I suggested she do before going to sleep. She was so happy that she told me she was going to do this every night, in order to try an connect also with other loved ones that have crossed over.
Helping my clients tap into their own unique psychic powers is also gratifying. I always let my clients know when I see that they have certain gifts, and how to tap into them and use them in their life.
