Rescue Work – Learning To Help Lost Souls
Rescue sessions intrigued me from the very start of my mediumship career. In order to facilitate a rescue, several times per year the advanced mediumship class at my spiritualist church would sit in a meditation circle. Reverend Doreen would then go through a process to invite people to come through, if they wanted or needed help. These were people who had passed into Spirit but were confused as to their current whereabouts or circumstances, and didn’t know what to do next.
About eight of us would sit quietly on our chairs until someone came through to one of us in the circle. We spoke in their ‘voices’, sometimes even using their accents. Reverend Doreen would question them as to their names, occupations, the last thing they remembered, and so on. These stories were fascinating and came from all realms of life here on the earth plane. The African River Man
During the time of my ukuthwasa (period of initiation to become a traditional healer or sangoma) some decades ago in Southern Africa, my mentor and some other village elders would join our group of ithwasa (sangoma trainees) by the campfire and discuss other spirits. That is, others in addition to those of our ancestors.
We heard many tales of other spirits who control the rivers, oceans and lakes, as well as those who live in the sky and control the rain. There were also stories told of sacred places where spirits inhabited mountains, trees and rocks. I loved hearing those stories from various individuals whom have had unique experiences and felt they had seen and communicated with those various spirits. Continue reading
Animal Afterlife
I was doing a remote viewing reading recently for a friend, whose golden retriever had gone missing, to see if I could locate the dog. I saw her in a pasture, near a barn. There happened to be a farm right up the road from my friend’s house, so that is where she went.
She sent me a message later to let me know that she had found her Daisy, near a barn, like I had seen her. The owners had been trying to figure out who she might belong to. They had just taken a picture of her and was about to get posters made to share around, in hopes of finding her owner.
I was so happy for my friend, because she got Daisy four years ago, after her previous dog, Honey, had passed. Honey lived for nearly 8 years, before passing due to health issues. They were so connected, and she has always felt that Daisy and Honey have many similarities. She even felt at times that Honey’s spirit may have reincarnated through Daisy. Honey also looked just like Daisy, both golden retrievers. Continue reading
The Paranormal Power Of Cats
Cats are often depicted in ancient Egyptian art and artifacts. The Egyptians actually worshiped cats as gods, and believed that they took on a spiritual importance. They were considered to be a sacred animals with magical powers.
Ancient Egypt was said to be one of the most advanced civilizations in human history, capable of architecture, that by today’s standards would be difficult, if not impossible to construct. But, did they also possess otherworldly knowledge that has been forgotten?
Some myths and folklore also claim that cats can walk in and out of the spirit world with great ease and at will. It was also believed that when a house cat would disappear, with no plausible explanation, that it had found a portal to the other worlds and is exploring them and will return just a mysteriously as it had disappeared.
